pls use less oil for the curry

Service is negligible, waiting time is too long, table setup is zero. Restaurant is understaffed on a payday weekend Saturday, 1 person running the restaurant is a joke. Management has to be actually conscious about it. Food was delicious though.

I called at 11.12am. they said buffet will be ready in 25minutes. We came, we waited for 45 minutes! Ridiculous, they may have good food but the service is very slow. And they are dishonest, all the time 5 minutes, took our 45 minutes of time, we could have spent elsewhere. If you go for buffet, I urge please go around 12.30-1pm ISH, hopefully it will be ready by then.

My experience at Sathiyams was quite disappointing. The service was painfully slow, and my food was cold by the time it reached the table. The staff were unhelpful and didn’t address my concerns. We used to come before but this time it’s not same service.

Ordered chicken lollipop and the chef added too much of salt. Despite asking multiple times to fix it - everytime they served the same dish. Had to leave the dish at the end. Not respecting the customers shows how one runs their restaurant. The salt quantity in food is so so basic thing - and messing up on that is something you least expect.

Very bad service staffs are not looking after customers

Very disappointed with the food I that ordered. The chicken 65 was burnt. I've eaten in this restaurant many times before and have never been given burnt chicken 65. Also it felt as though it was re-fried, as was very tough and chewy. If it was freshly made, it wouldn't have been like that.

Loved everything we ordered. All fresh and flavoursome, definitely want to come back to try more from the menu.

We are group of friends visited for buffet lunch today the curries were amazing but there was a delay in Getting Naans on time except that everything went well. The staff was amazing especially Jeshna she is super amazing fun and jovial waitress who made us comfortable making our lunch special. Best Service in East Ham location. Will visit again!

Top standard Sri Lankan food. Hot and delicious, authentic egg biriani with plenty of heat, and a Sri Lankan lamb curry with a rich gravy with curry leaves and coconut milk. Not quite as spicy as the genuine article, but really good for the UK. Lamb on the bone for better flavour. Other restaurants should take note. Five Stars from me.

Went for a lovely dinner at Sathiyams. All the food ordered was of very high quality with authentic flavours and spice. We also really appreciated the service of the staff and how they tended to all our needs as and when needed.

Food came at different times, where half of us were waiting for our food wgile others had started there meal. I ordered a mutton curry, which had so many bones and very little meat on it. Bit disappointed.

There were 2 large groups 1 group having a party at the back, then a group of about 10-12 men were seated near us so it was very noisy. We ordered 2 different mutton dishes, 1 of which we had ordered before, but this time the meat was very tough in both curries. I was having to cut the meat with my knife before picking it up with a piece of naan. Food arrived quick, but we did feel rushed. We were still finishing off the last quarter of naan and the waiter didnt offer to clear the table, but asked if he could prepare the bill. We were not asked if he could clear the table or if we wanted desert. Anyway due to the noise level we couldnt hear ourselves very well, so i agreed for him to prepare the bill.

I went with my friends and we all loved the food it was excellent food nice and hot served and we did not have to wait long for our food.

Cannot fault it. Restaurant was quiet, food was tasty. Only thing i would say is can we have a yogurt mint chutney without sugar. I have had the chana puri twice and because i dont eat sweet chutneys they have given me plain yogurt as a substitute which was great. Chettinand mutton curry was something new i tried today....lovely. will definatley go again.

This was my first time in Sathiyams. I really liked the decor and the staff were very attentive and greeted with a smile. Onto the food I must say the food was very tasty indeed. I really enjoyed the Gobi 65, the hot and sour soup, hariyali paneer tikka. The currys were fantastic and super tasty. I must say I have eaten south asian food all my life and not had naan that good before. The desserts were very tasty and like the service and atmoshpere. I think this place is a real hidden gem and the food just wows you. Super tasty and on par with any glorfied fine dinning resturant in central London. A resturant that brings a nice touch to the area.

A second visit and enjoyed really great food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is well laid out. I am confident that I'll be visiting again.

We pre ordered delivery for a family event. The food went down a treat; it included some delicious starters and mains courses. The price was affordable and the customer service was fantastic! Also glad that the total cost included delivery of the food to the event in Hertfordshire, which was super helpful. Looks like that the restaurant had reopened with some lovely modifications (including the bar in the basement), which I wasn't aware of until I had visited. Definitely plan to visit again!

I have tasted foods in many restaurants in eastham but this restaurant taste beated all other restaurants such an mouth watering delicious food I really enjoyed “madras prawn curry “those who seeks for fish food this is the best curry.pomfret masala is the best in starters and devilled sizzling and chicken platter are the best

Ordered Mutton Biriyani for take away , Mutton Biriyani is rubbish not feeling like eating Biriyani. Feels Eating rice with mutton curry. Don’t over expect tasty food by look of restaurant, what a waste of money Just wasted my money. No smell of flavour of Biriyani at all. No way I am going to taste other Food items.

Excellent meal had 50% off. The portions were very large too and the food tasted really nice. This was matched by the very good customer service. Thank you.

Amazing food served there! One of my favourite places in the area for a good meal! The staff is courteous and energised. Everybody should definitely try this restaurant, And I'd personally recommend to try Kashmiri Vegetable Kofta Curry ,paneer butter masala, and butter Naan.

Sathiyam's has been our go-to restaurant for a long time. Unfortunately, it had to close during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it recently reopened with some fantastic modifications. One of the highlights is the lovely bar located in the basement, offering an amazing dining experience. We have had the pleasure of trying their Sri Lankan inspired dishes, which have been delightful. However, what sets this place apart is the extraordinary customer service provided by the staff. Among them, Vaishnavi stands out as a key individual, and her hospitality is truly exceptional. I have developed a fondness for Vaishnavi due to her unmatched service.

Food is OK for the price...staff are ok too. Need alot of improvement overall

We have been regular customers of Sathyams over the years. We have dined in their restaurant on a regular basis and also had dinner delivered for 2 family weddings one of them being our own wedding. The food and service were excellent. Each dish had its own authentic flavour. Our guests were raving about the various flavours and special tastes that the chef puts together to bring out the best Indian cuisine they had ever tasted. We wish them every success in their business going forward and they come highly recommended by all our family and friends.

This Restaurant use to be good. Looks like they have new management and people. And the service was totally horrible. Waiter came 3 times to confirm my order. Few of the items are not available waiter not aware of that, came back to tell us after we order.

Honestly, one of the best food places I have been to, very modern and cosy inside and over the past month, I have been 6 times. They have delicious dishes, hospitable hosts, beautiful presentation and an amazing bar. I also did my dads 60th birthday yesterday and Sathyams catered for 250 people. Everyone was really happy with the food, the spices, the flavours and the variety of food to taste. All I'm saying is you have to go down there right now and eat the food and enjoy some drinks. P.S- My personal favourite dishes are the lamb chops, chicken 65, seafood noodles, bryani and kothu roti !!

I have tried tandoori non veg sizzling platter, food is extraordinary. Too good and wish I to try once again in upcoming weeks. Vyshnavi service is very kind and easy to communicate.

Such a good experience! We ordered the mutton rolls and chicken 65 for starters. Both were cooked well and had the right amount of flavour. The chicken 65 was spicy and tasted perfect. We also ordered chicken biryani and butter naan. The chicken was tasty and the naan was by far the best naan we’ve ever had. The new decor and seating compliments the food and it’s definitely a restaurant which we’d eat at again. Perfect size for larger events as well & a great selection of dishes and drinks on the new menu.

Sathiyams were excellent caterers for our wedding. They executed the plan as requested by us with lunch and dinner all on the same day. We loved the carefully customised menu cards on the tables with our photos on. At the last minute, they were able to secure some red napkins, which was a change in plan. They went above and beyond to help with the set up of the tables. There was a variety of tasty dishes. Would highly recommend.

I don't have an option to give "0" stars otherwise I would have. Let me start review with good points...... Hmm.... I spent nearly 10 minutes trying to re-collect but I cant find any.. Oh yeah , finally here is one - Decent Size and looks good at night in particular (because of ambience with Christmas lights etc..) Now let me list the bits that i tried and did not like - Mind you , these were all tried and tested. We booked a large table for 15 members in the downstairs seating area. Upon entry everyone in our group commented upon lack of fresh air and was full of damp smell due to very poor hygiene standards. It doesn't have ventilation facility. The management was careless despite being informed. The hand wash basin surroundings is full of black spots which means mould. Adding to that there was no hot water connection. this is pure negligence considering the outside temperature was below 2°C. Now let us talk about food - ALL items were full of artificial colours. The mint yogurt was so green, it is impossible to get that colour no matter how much green leaves were made into paste. The veggie & chicken curries we ordered were so dark red, it was obvious for all of us that excessive food colour was used. upon speaking to the management he tried to convince that they used chilli powder and DID NOT use food colours. - WE ALL KNEW HE WAS LYING. The deep fried items were never strained properly for excessive oil. We decided to squeeze them gently on the tissue to get rid of dripping fat.. Biriyani was SALTY and tasted extremely artificial. I must admit that the NAAN Bread was good though! The waiters were working hard and they were very friendly and polite. We had to be gentle with poor quality cutlery and none of us took the risk of holding them firm due to the risk of bending. They could have bought from POUNDLAND at least, which is far superior quality in comparison. Conclusion: PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THE LOOKS OR FOR BEING SPACIOUS. DO I VISIT AGAIN? - NO , NEVER. DO I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE? - NOT REALLY.

It's great buffet for vegetarians

We had dinner in Sathiams twice. Both times the food was excellent. (my favorite starter was mushroom salt n pepper). The staff is very friendly and does everything to make you feel at home. Meals are authentic Indian and the price is very low for the quality that is being offered.Whenever you are in the neighbourhood,(close to Eastham Underground station) don't hesitate and have dinner here! Enjoyed prawn starters, lamb and chicken mains with rice and naan was very tasty the service was good and pleasant. Very reasonable price and good service.
