We were served by a lovely gentleman names John. The service was excellent with food coming out really promptly and tasting delicious. We had coffee, mango lassi, Idli and spring rolls. All other staff were very good. Thanks for a great experience. The manager was also very good with things running efficiently, thank you Muthuramalingam 🙏🏾.

Horrible service. Cannot cope with crowd. Stressed staff especially a lady by the name of Simran who is overworked with multiple orders and keeps forgetting the order and tries to find time to take a break!

We were a group of 10 with 6 children and we all had a lovely lunch. We had to split into 2 booths downstairs as no tables large enough and you can't make bookings. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Food was amazing as always.

Went in for dinner last night with my husband and 2 kids, as we hadn’t tried this Saravanan bhawan before. We were seated promptly, place was done up well and was busy. We ordered and food started coming in fairly quickly. Taste wasn’t great. Cauliflower Manchurian was soggy and mushy. Soggiest Masala dosa I have had. Taste was average but we were hungry. The worst part was - there was like 2 spoon of channa with the a large channa bhatura and a small cup of sambar with a big ghee roast. Now we had to ask them for some additional sides. We asked 3 separate people for some sambar, but no one bothers to bring it for you. You keep looking at them, and they will walk past you. My son waiting a good 10 mins for that watery sambar, after asking 3 people and finally getting a bit upset. No one even bothered to apologies. We pay for food, it’s not free charity. Customer service is poor. Better off eating at the temple where people serve food with more respect. Really disappointed to be treated like that. Never ever going there again.

Sometime over crowded otherwise nice place to have south Indosn food. We liked mini idlis with hot sambhar. They also have north Indian food but that has a touch of south Indian taste.

One of the best Indian restaurants in London. Awesome Samosa, Dosa and Chana Batura. My favorite so far is palak dosa and masala dosa. Masala chai is good too. Jassim and all other staffs served us well.

We served by John and Anjana, this is not a first time here ‘ were regularly once or twice a week visit here , we love saravana bavan and there food in East Ham branch but I’m not recommended ilford branch because I have a couple of experiences so I do recommend East Ham branch

Top girl Simran served me :) and she is such a thoughtful person who made sure the order came through in an orderly sequence as requested by me and a coffee with less sugar, promptly reminding the chef not to mess it up :)) she also made sure if I need any extra helpings of sauces from time to time and I must say it was a delightful experience for a morning breakfast.she also took care of the other tables equally with great professionalism. This certainly kick started my day with a good mood ☺️ service does matter and as humans we all need care and attention and it can certainly bring joy from someone taking orders and bring the food to your table . :))) restaurant is all usual great with good hygiene and good quality and taste . No complaints there at all . The rest of the staff were also very nice . Thanks and regards vishwanath
