Place is nice itself. Clean and well maintained. Wine i ordered was bit tastles. Moktail looked good. Staff is okay. Food could be better. Praws we had tasted okay. But carry i had better in other places.

Usually, Sarasas has been great for food. But lately their service has become quite questionable. Orders all over the place, running out of rasam on a busy Saturday and no one tending to the customers for 30 minutes straight. When confronted they say they are running a full service or they are new and will go get someone else and other excuses. I would really want to give them the five stars as always but unfortunately not today. To top it up the tables are all randomly placed,scattered all over with hardly any space to move in between. Disappointed. Please go back to the wonderful service that you were. Don't crumble under pressure.

My wife and I had popped in for lunch and we were the second customers there. We were down to our table and we chose some items from the lunch menu. A couple who came in after ordered and got there food before ours. Wow! They didn't stay long as they were complaining that the dishes were over salted. My paneer roll although was nice but very dry. My wife chose the chola with kulcha and that was so much better that I wished a had chosen. Overall, a decent place but hopefully my next choice won't be a Paneer roll!

Quiet night though absolutely amazing

Went for lunch earlier today with daughter and grandchildren. Food was of good quality as usual. Service provided by Jalam and Kushi was of a very high standard. Jalam was very attentive and made sure that the children were happy. Thank you.

First visit but definitely not the last. We arrived soon after 1500 and realised that Thalis were available on the lunch menu up until 1600 so I had the veg version and my wife the non veg. Both were outstanding with delicious flavours and textures and an especial mention for the dhal which was exceptional. Service was professional and very friendly ...... all in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Visited for the 1st time today. We had Thali lunchtime offer…….truly delicious! We will certainly be back.

Excellent Dosa and superb staff. The staff were a real highlight and very attentive.

We had masala dosa, which was good. We ordered kulcha chana. The kulcha was fine, but the chana was dry and not cooked properly, should have soaked this in water overnight before cooking.

Fantastic meal. We had the Gobi Manchurian and Papdi Chaat to start, both dishes were lovely. We then had the chicken Dosa and Special Uttapam, something I had never tried before, we liked them both although the starters were enjoyed the most.

The food was absolutely delicious - it came really nice and hot and really fresh taste!! Will definitely come to this restaurant again!!

Good selection of lunch options with my highlight being the lunch dosa and idly. Paneer wrap also is a good shout for grab and go. Gentleman who served us was very diligent, and listened to our requests and catered for as well.

Zero stars Waste of money and ruined our New Year’s Eve dinner. Manager’s poor response to customer complaining about food not prepared according to order - “I gave yoghurt!” Appalling customer service from manager and staff. They clearly don’t care about the customers experience or wellbeing . Wasted £80+ meal and ruined New Year’s Eve dinner ! Plenty of better options for Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. My mother and two sons and I had the unfortunate experience of dining in this restaurant around 6:30-7pm last night. We highlighted to keep the food mild. Pointed out to the waiter (who is the restaurant manager) who took our order 1. butter chicken was for my youngest son and as it has no chillies symbol 🌶️ on the menu It should not be spicy. 2. Requested to make my seafood string hoppers kottu as mild as possible. When the food arrived the butter chicken was so heavily laden with chilli my son drowned his plate of rice and chicken with yoghurt. He struggled to recover from the few bites of butter chicken he ate with rice and had to rush to the bathroom feeling sick. He is now suffering from severe heartburn as a result of last night’s meal. Came home on an empty stomach only to have some milk and cereal on New Year’s Eve. I struggled to eat some of my seafood hopper which had atleast 5 fiery dried red chillies. My older son could barely eat 1 bite of the mutton kottu roti and left all of it. When I told the manager we were unhappy with the meal because it was too spicy despite our request to keep it mild he replied -“but I gave yoghurt”! I told the manager it seems we paid £18 for some plain yoghurt and steamed rice rather than butter chicken my son could actually eat. I also showed him the number of whole dried chillies in my seafood hopper which were added despite my request to keep it mild as possible. Manager just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. They didn’t offer any goodwill gesture - charged us the full amount including the desserts we ordered to try to console my sons for terrible main course. As we were getting ready to leave a waiter hurriedly walks into my elderly mother who was preparing to wear her coat. No apologies that you may have caused her to lose her balance and injure herself Appalling customer service from manager and staff. They clearly don’t care about the customers experience or wellbeing . Wasted £80+ meal and ruined New Year’s Eve dinner and we are all suffering with heartburn and indigestion the next day.

Great service and good so far for the past 2 years we been here. Only one complaint- there’s no fresh brew coffee.

I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner, drawn by its decent reviews and our interest in trying vegetarian food. The sambar was quite spicy, as expected. The server was a bit odd, frequently stopping by our table without saying anything, but we let it slide. The food was decent, though not exceptional. The prices were typical for the area. I might return to try their vegetarian thali.

Food and service both amazing. Not a long wait for the food either. Definitely recommend as prices are very good and is always busy!
