Sarah Restaurant in Wrexham

I ordered my food which didn't turn up even though they had charged me for it, when I called them up they hung up on me. Very disappointed

Bought a Lamb Shawarma as recommend by a work colleague. Even though I live 5 miles away and have a kebab shop at the end of my road, the lamb from Sarah Restaurant is unsurpassable 👌 and worth paying the extra for delivery on this occasion. It's a shame I live so far away, however I would definitely make a beeline for them when I want a lamb kebab/dinner. Would recommend!!!

Restaurant amazing everything is made fresh when you order and even the bread is freashly made. Workers are kind and the restaurant is very clean

Was driving by and seen a the sign so decided to stop and try it as visiting wrexham after so long. Had shawarma and chips. Chips were nice but shawarma was horrible. Very hard and salty. It is common practice to just cut the top/first layer off and use the inside. Shawarma supposed to be soft not hard, black, burnt and full of salt!

Tried mix wrap with chicken and lamb . Costed around 7£ .They charge separately for onion and salad they put in it . They use their own naan instead of wrap . Tiny amount of meat ,massive naan wrap and no taste at all. Not recommended.

I came here the other day and the food was amazing. I decided to come back with my friend. Both times the staff have been very welcoming. We had a great conversation with the chef today and he recommended some dishes to try next time.

Food not consistent. Ordered a whole grilled peri peri chicken with naan etc.. Food was so dry and bland.

I order from here all the time. The food is really, really nice and well priced. Delivery is usually very fast, too. I have never eaten inside, though I'm sure it's nice.

Staff were very friendly, food was lovely, I had chicken fillet burger, partner had mixed schwarma wrap... the lentil soup was gorgeous, so tasty.... would recommend for anyone who stops over in Wrexham

Have been postponing this review for a while as I was hoping the food was gonna get good again but unfortunately Sarah has been going downhill for a while now. Had some food the other night and it’s nothing like what it was when this place first opened up. The meat felt like it was either reheated or fried cuz it tasted so bad, chips were also nasty… Wouldn’t recommend as there are better places in Wrexham to spend your money. There goes the one authentic kebab house in town.. devastated

I've been searching for an authentic Middle Eastern Shawarma for a long time in Wrexham. Finally I found it here. Both chicken and lamb shawarma was delicious. They have a lot of kebab options too. Authentic taste at reasonable price.

Good place for your cravings of shawarma. The staffs are considerate. You can ask them to prepare you a off the menu shawarma burger.

Order yesterday and have give me food poisoning woke up being sick everywhere don't recommend

Bought from here last night and the food was terrible my lamb tikka kebab was awful the naan bread it was wrapped in was soggy and falling apart and as for the lamb tikka 4 small pieces of meat that was barely chewable the rest of the wrap was salad,the garlic bread was stone cold and really soggy,will not be ordering from here again

A mix of authentic Arab food and Western/Asian dishes. I always enjoy my meals whether it's grabbing a Shawarma to eat on the road or sit down in the restaurant. The staff are busy but have a moment to chat, friendly with great food, what a combination! A hidden gem.

Nice place, great ambience, good food.

I was very old customer, never nothing to say bad about they, but today on 16/08/22 around 14:00, my wife was deplorable served by stuff, they understand wrong the order after become angry 😡, whitout reason, this was one, meat 1000% old and salted both meat chicken and lamb, chicken one was the same flavour like lamb, i really don't know why they make like that whit old customer? Anyway was my last time at they. Regards

I worst food I have ever tasted. We bought 2 family platters, meat is relatively less and no flavour at all. Highly NOT recommended.

This place is great. Don't make the mistake of ordering based on cost like I have done as you'll be faced with a mountain of food 😂. It's great value for money. There is a dine in option too, so may try that next instead of hitting the order button blindly next time. Not your average Turkish kebab shop, a must try 💪

Excellent friendly service delicious halal food

Sarah is absolutely my favourite take away and perfect for a low cost mid week meal when you just don't have the energy or inclination to cook. I don't eat carbs and so this is the perfect healthy meal for me but I have also tried their burgers and pizza and they are just awesome. But the thing that sets this place way above any other is their service... Because I'm fussy, I ask for customisations and they are done no problem and with a smile! Best service best food. You simply cannot go wrong! Thanks guys ❤️

Not great for kebab rice. Lamb pieces were small and overcooked. Gave the lentil soup in the beginning for free. More of rice and less kebabs. Aubergine was oily but tasty.

Probably my worst ever take away. I searched for them on justeat and seemed like they have nice Italian pizzas, little did I realise it was just a stock photo. Sadly the pizza that came had the cheapest toppings on it,awful quality and it made me sick as I was eating it. I had to throw away the half of the pizza as I had no inclination at all to eat it. The backlash was dry and had almost no filling in it… maybe their restaurant is better but the take away was awful.

The food is so delicious and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere in general is very good.

Do a grreat shwarma with a special sauce, as close to the real deal as you could get, a taste of the sand pit right here in wrexham

Visited Sarah restaurant on 28th August 21. Amazing food at very reasonable price. Very large portions. Staff were very polite. They even give us complimentary lentil soup! Will visit again sometime.

One of the best in the town.Good share of food. The owner Mohammed is the best person available, ever helpful and pleasing. The portion size is good and has all the halal stuff. The special stuff are definitely the ones to yum on. Sitting is simple and easy to access. Overall very satisfying.

An absolute must for those who want a meaty meal!

Quality food and excellent service

The food was lovely esp lamb kuzi ....never eaten such tasty meat ever before. The owner was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Overall amazing experience. Out of four days stay, we ate twice there. Will come soon.

Just been to try food at Sarah and WOW what a meal I had a mix kuzi with okra soup and truly was the best I've had in a long time. Lamb so tender it melts in your mouth the chicken so delicately seasoned, I don't often leave top reviews as I travel for work eat in amazing places but here is just fantastic you must try it. Wouldn't be out of place if it was in London along some of the top places. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommended by several friends.... wow disappointed is an understatement quoted 45 minutes...ordered at 7.43 turned up at 22.02 (do the maths) .....kebab burnt, bread dry, and salad missing, can't remember the last time I was this disappointed 😞

Ordered delivery from this place a kebab deal and pizza the kebabs had no pitta/wrap just meat and pizza was like a brick there was grease everywhere it was luke warm at best but it smelt very strange when unpacked and tasted awful the whole kitchen had an awful pungent smell from the kebabs so after 1mouthful I'm afraid it's in the bin maybe I just got the bad one of the day but il not be using them again

Best restaurant/takeaway in Wrexham. Food is amazing, deliveries are quick and they always come hot. When we eat inside the staff there are very welcoming and accommodating, always making sure everything okay and if we need anything they’re always on hand. This has become my regular spot, when I can’t go in to dine in I usually get a delivery to borras and it’s always on time.

Takeaways should be, subjectively, reviewed on many principals and fronts. We came here 9th September 2020. This is a new takeaway or they are new owners. They have only been open about two weeks. The place is clean and i was greeted very politely. The place was very busy and everyone looked like they were enjoying their food. The place smelt amazing. We decided to wait and eat in, we are a family of four. We ordered a couple of mixed Kuzi, houmous and a large pizza. The food was very very tasty. The pizza was fresh from the oven and the Kuzi was stunning. The salad was super fresh and the houmous tasted very authentic. They were all presented in an eye pleasing manner. We were made to feel like "the customer is King" a trait all to often forgotten in many establishments. We cannot fault anything about this place. We look forward to eating there again and trying other items on the menu.

Good order time and good quality food

An ant was found in the salt shaker after I used it to put on my food and when I told the manager he said “nothing I can do” and “you should have used another salt shaker then”, disgusting, I don’t understand how this place is 5 stars, no people skills and no apology!
