Santi Pizza in Birmingham

Used the online ordering system to request a collection at 8pm. Paid online. Received a text message to say collection at 7:20. Rang the establishment to query this. They said, yes, available for collection now (at 7:30ish when I made the phonecall). I said no, we want to collect at 8. Would the food be fresh when we collected at 8, or would it have been sitting on a counter for half an hour? They said, no worries, it will be fresh. We arrived at 5 to 8. Pizza and chicken were sitting on a counter ready. Fries were done fresh in front of us. Then we were asked for payment. I said, I think I've already paid online. They asked for proof, so I found the account I had made with THEIR ordering and payment system online, and showed them the proof. Once home - the pizza and chicken were lukewarm and had clearly been waiting for a while. They, and the fries which were a little underdone, went in the oven to heat up. In fairness, once hot again, the pizza was tasty with plenty of topping. The chicken was in a nice, tangy hot sauce - which I liked a lot. The fries were average. If I were to use this place again I would walk in and order, as I think the food would be a lot fresher than if I pre-ordered it. Not sure I will though.

Buena comida a buen precio. La oferta especial de santi es realmente buena. Recomiendo encarecidamente el pollo peri peri y la pizza siciliana. El personal siempre es amable también

Food comes quick, but I'm pretty sure the pizza base/sauce was better with the old menu.

I love Santi, myself and my family and friends use you a lot, however, on 3 occasions now we have had to phone you as the order has been incomplete. It ruins the sharing of food when it's not all there at same time. Your response has always been good but it shouldn't happen.

Food was excellent. First time we tried Santi and glad we did as the pizza was better than our usual pizza place. We will definitely be ordering again from Santi

Took a full hour to deliver which is unusual for this takeaway but the food was fresh and hot, as always. The fact they are busy is a good sign.

Sadly, we will not be ordering here again. The menu has changed, all our favourites have gone, smaller portions with increased prices, chicken burger barely filled the bun, chicken was wafer thin and tasted cheap. Got garlic pizza bread rather than the 4 pieces of garlic bread I ordered, cheesy chips have reduced in size dramatically and the cheese now has no taste. Ordered from here a couple of weeks ago and would have said it was amazing. It's either changed hands or some genius has gone in and tried to save money at the detriment to the business. Santi, sorry, you have lost some loyal customers.

Wasn't pleased that I paid the same price for the cheesy fries as I always do,for it to arrive in a tiny box with nowhere near the amount you normally revieve,other than that it was good as usual.

It says my order has been delivered but It hasn't and I paid off of my card.

Usually order the Pizzas, which I have found to be very good, however on this occassion I opted for the burgers which were very tasty, both the beef and chicken. My side order of the cheesy fries were not fantastic. Possibly the use of mozarella rather than cheddar, just not what I expected. Other than that was once again very pleased with the food as have always been in the past, and therefore will happily use 'Santi' again. 😀

Poor quality food, was given free garlic bread which was rock solid and inedible

Horrible...we must have received somebody else's order...not thin crust as ordered..too spicy...peri peri sauce rank...chips dry...over an hour for delivery....won't be ordering again

As a whole, there service is good as long as you do not get your hopes up of the quality of the food. Ordered a pizza and chicken strippers, the pizza was of a basic quality but definitely by no means bad, although the chicken was like attempting to eat a piece of rubber.

Food came 25 minutes early and piping hot. Quality of the food was well worth the price.

The pizza had a pot of sauce in the box the lid of this sauce was off and the sauce was all over the pizza so the pizza was soaked and uneditable sadly. Had a doner kebab and chips and this turned up as doner meat and chips was nice though even though was plastered in chilli sauce

Pizza was rubbish deffinately not 8" came with wrong order when we phoned them they were extremely rude and put the phone down on us and refused to give us a refund! Disgraceful!

Reasonably priced, nice portions. Fantastic delivery time, fresh and tasty food. Impressed for first time order, I don't usually like ordering from new places, but this was worth it!

There was too much cheese and the base was kind of dry on pizza this time.

Chicken kebab nice but pitta bread was a bit thin, not doughy and soft as I like. All in all good food, chips decent and chicken strips nice and spicy. Delivered in excellent time

I have been ordering food from these guys at least once a week for a few months now because I like the grilled chicken kebab. Tonight I placed an order and topped it up to the amount required for a free garlic pizza with some wedges that I didn't really want. The order arrived without and when I phoned to ask why they advise me tha the offer was not valid on a Tuesday doe to the buy one get one free offer on pizza. It does not state that on the website and I feel like I behave been conned. Though I very much like the kebabs, I will not be shopping here again. Shame on you for the sake of a tiny bit of dough.

Brilliant, I always order pizza from here and I'm never disappointed. Comes before the time given. Food is delicious

I wish I could say this was nice, but honestly it was grim. The pizza is alright, the stuffed crust is certainly interesting, it's the rest of it that just lets it down completely. The chicken burger has no crunch to it at all, is too small for the buns, and the mayonnaise is cheap and grotesque. Just all round disgusting. The potato wedges are stodgy, have absolutely no spicing too them, and the cheese they put on is tasteless. My cheese was personally also burnt so that's great. The chicken strip wrap is 'ok' but pretty under par to be honest. The saving grace is that you get a free garlic bread, and it's excellent.

Pizza was great. Very fluffy pizza dough. The meat feast was immense with a generous heaping of meat.

First time ordering and I'm very impressed. I didn't realise pizza was 2 for 1 on a Tuesday, but I had a phone call immediately to inform me of this and take an additional pizza order. The food came quickly, tasted fresh and it was very hot; it was also delicious. I'd definitely order from here again.

Strippers and chips excellent. Pizza bit dry. Lacking in cheese. Pepsi wasn't diet as ordered. Good value for money though to be fair.

The pizza arrived completely flat on one side, the box had obviously been on its side for the journey.

Used a pizza base instead of naan bread. Delivery was 15 minutes later than expected. The delivery driver was rude and clueless, not able to follow the most simple of instructions.

Best donner kebab I've had in a long time, pitta was stuffed so full of the wafer thin meat that the salad couldn't fit, very tasty and none of the horrible gristly bits you get in some donner meat. Cheesy garlic bread was yum, the only let down was that the cheesecake was still frozen on arrival. This is definitely now my go-to place for kebabs.

My pizza was 11" not 12" as advertised, not the end of the world but annoying, please deliver what you advertise. Tubs of sauce had hardly any sauce in. Despite this, it tasted very good and was ok value for money.

Food arrives on time, the delivery man is polite and the pizza and the ingredients are great. Wasn't ordering anything apart from pizzas, though, but so far, I was very satisfied with the service.
