Grandes pizzas - la masa está bien aromatizada y los ingredientes son deliciosos. No hemos estado en años y es bueno saber que todavía está abierto y todavía bueno! Gran variedad de bebidas también y el personal es amable. Encantador lugar en una buena parte de Digbeth.

Fui allí en enero... la comida era excelente, tenía pizza con salsa de pato y hoisin y papas fritas cargadas... Nunca me gustó la pizza, pero ahora soy un converso. ¡El único inconveniente es que el lugar estaba helado, así que nos sentamos con nuestros abrigos! La corriente de aire era de la puerta de entrada. .volvió en febrero para comprar otra de esas pizzas y era tan hermosa como la primera vez y era acogedor allí. Definitivamente voy a volver.

Buena comida pero cara, especialmente cuando llegó la factura y agregaron IVA a la comida y bebida más cargo por servicio. ¡No es bueno!

Best pizza around, after trying all the big pizza parlours around such as Franco Manca and Bella Italia, Baked in brick had the best authentic pizza out of all of them

If you have Coeliac disease do not go here. Six of us went to the one in Digbeth Birmingham and as they stated Gluten Free on the website I thought I wouldn’t have an issue. However, they only had one dish that I could order and it was from a small lunch menu. No GF bread to soak up the tomato based egg dish and the actual dish was nothing to write home about. Same with dessert, two ice-creams that were GF and the server did not tell me this. We had to ask after everyone had placed their dessert orders. When I said, I didn’t enjoy the meal, the server just said oh.

Loved everything I ordered. The Halloumi fries were banging(chilli jam💋). Oh and what the quack. Hoisin Duck Pizza??? Absolutely killed it. Amazing. Was not expecting it to be that good.

Our server was lovely, and the pizza is nice. However when we went to pay, we asked to use a discount voucher that we had gotten from our last visit, and were abruptly cut off by the manger/senior worker, who rudely told us they were expired and started telling us off for not reading the terms and conditions on the website. We have no idea what we have done to deserve this treatment, as we would not have pushed to use them anyways if they declined, and there was no expiry date or mention of T&C on the voucher. We will likely not come back after that, and will be warning our friends (who have been saving their 10% discount vouchers to attend together as a large group outing) not to bother.

Such a lovely quaint place for amazing proper Italian style pizza! The menus isn’t over the top or filled with too many fancy options, drinks to please all (try the cocktails!!!) and the place isn’t huge meaning you get excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely come back again!

Tried this place twice and the toppings are so stingy.. for the price you pay you’d expect generous or decent toppings. Disappointing

A classic in the Birmingham independent food scene and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, quick service, decent selection of drinks, and delicious pizza and I will never get over this pizza sandwich (not a calzone) and think about it frequently. Esta es una reseña específicamente para su cafetería de hermanos "Bakehouse" al otro lado de la calle, ya que no tienen su propia página de Tripadvisor. Solo quería decir que el personal es encantador - nos recuerdan como clientes habituales y siempre son tan agradables, acogedores y considerados. Georgia se destaca especialmente como un gran barista y siempre nos anima en nuestras tiradas de café semanales. ¡Gracias Bakehouse!

No habíamos reservado, pero nos fuimos a un concierto y solo queríamos algo de comida para el alma de antemano. El personal era brillante y te hacen sentir muy importante. Las pizzas eran absolutamente preciosas y servirlas con tijeras es un genio. Realmente lo soy. Tengo muchas ganas de volver. Gurt exuberante.

Fabulous food, drinks and the team are really friendly

I was greeted with a warm welcome by three lovely young ladies. The service was top notch, place is clean and the food was superb. Highly recommended.

The food not only came quickly and was so delicious but also every waitress that served us was so lovely and helpful!

The njuda and burratta pizza is exceptional. The creamy burratta cools everything down so you don’t have to burn your mouth taking a bite of molten lava. Nice crispy burnt bits too, top notch pizza. We took a boat trip down the canal whilst we ate it, big thumbs up from me!

Been here a couple of times & really enjoyed ourselves! Staff are super friendly & welcoming & the pizzas are amazing, as are the cocktails! Will be back at some point in the future I'm sure.

Baked In Brick was a great experience. The pizza was brilliant and the employees were quite helpful even though it was really, really crowded. Other than that maybe the sides could've been better. Prices were decent.

Amazing Independent Pizza restaurant in The Custard factory. Friendly and non obtrusive service, Amazing Pizza with a great choice of choice and a few traditional choices done with an interesting twist. We had Pizza, loaded fries, pudding to share and 2 rounds of drinks. Came in around £50. The restaurant was getting busy when we left so expect the atmosphere would be on the increase too. Will we go again? Of course!!

Food was good but lots of the pizzas were over fancy. A better balance between simple/classic and fancy would be better.

Came in for a late lunch and had the fancy fries and truffle pancetta pizza. The pizza was beyond delicious, creamy without being too heavy, and the broccoli was done JUST right Would 100% recommend this place and I'll definitely be back!

I ordered the chicken pizza without the spicy sausage and the tiramisu. Definitely recommend the pizzas! The dough is soft and the cheese cream and gooey. The cheese doesn't solidify within minutes which I find with other places. The ladies serving me made me feel welcome and helped me with my order so I knew exactly what i was getting. I will be back! I am grateful this gem is just down the road 🍕

Visited today for the first time for food and drinks with family and had such a great time. A cute chilled atmosphere with delicious food that is so reasonably priced. Staff were so welcoming and attentive and really made our visit a great one. Will definitely be returning in the future :)

Brilliant staff, very relaxed and easy going. You can clearly tell there's a positive culture, the staff enjoy working there and their personalities really shine through. They were also quick to respond to a slight issue with the food, hence the lower score. Pizzas were OK, I've had better, I've had worse. But the variety, even if you went back every month for 3 years you'd always have something new to try! Would definitely be returning! OH and the cocktails are a good size, good price, well made. But please, we need a 2-for-1 weekend special!

Honestly, the pizza dough was perfect, but the topping was missing and the center of the pizza was brutally thin ...maximum 4 small slices of chicken on a chicken pizza? :D I cried inside and I payed close to 15£? next time we'll go to a takeaway.

Decidimos saltarnos los entrantes al escuchar el tamaño de las pizzas, pero logramos un postre - elegir helados o pasteles de su propia panadería. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and very patient waitstaff. I witnessed another customer being incredibly rude and unreasonable - staff were gentle and kind despite her belittling and mean behaviour.

I must say this is trusty a hidden gems! Order the anchovies and olive pizza 🍕 there’s lot of get run with this pizza but somewhere they have pulled off spectacularly ! Never had pizza quite like it before. Iv they a few of my party members pizza too to see what’s they’re like and oh man none of them where disappointing! My favourite must be the most basic pizza of all…margaritas. Reason are if a pizza place and pull off a really good their most basic pizza , the rest should be good. Iv used this as a bench mark for most of the pizza best that iv gone to and has never fail. Give this method a try and let me know what you think? Great place! We had two pizzas with halloumi fries and everything was perfect! So tasty and lots of food. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The place itself is unique and has great vibes.

Been to this lovely little restaurant a couple of times now. You instantly feel welcomed by the lovely genuine staff working there. The main thing they do there is traditional style brick oven baked handmade pizzas, they look amazing although I haven't tried them myself others in the group said how great they are. I have personal tried dishes off the small plate menu and the loaded fries. I was very impressed by what I had. Worthy of a particular mention was belly pork bites with the pickled cucumber and pickled chillis. These were so tasty. Also the coffee is a lovely blend, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to coffee, so this pleased me to have a quality coffee. All in all this place is worth a visit even if it's just for a quick coffee and pastry.

Took the family for mother's day lunch. Good food. I had the pork belly which was tender and tasty. My wife said it was the best bread and butter desert she had ever had. Great service from Isabella B.

Good points...fast service, served hot, big pizza. Pizza itself pretty good, but a bit too heavy and chewy for my preference. Some negatives: noisy, uncomfortable chairs, grotty carpark at rear. Generally not a relaxing, pleasant experience. No reason to return.

Booked a table for 17 for a birthday celebration. Helpful from time of booking through to the day. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great food…all came out together and everything we ordered. Will definitely highly recommend to others.

Pizza is excellent but service needs to be more consistent. I came on a Saturday night before a gig at the institute and had food in less than 30 minutes but came in on a workday lunchtime with only a few tables and it took over an hour for a pizza that takes a few minutes to cook. Would love to eat here more lunchtimes but can’t risk being away from the office for over an hour every time!

Night out with the girls we were all starving an we just happened to pass this restaurant and decided to try it. Well we were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome we were shown to our table, and asked if it was ok. The staff were really nice and friendly. We had duck pitza, sexy fries and some starters. The food was amazing. Would definitely go again. It is a little gem.

Good food and good service but not a fan of forced service charges. The service was good and we would have left a tip anyway, but whenever it's forced on me it leaves a bitter taste

I’ve been to UK plenty of times and I can confidently say that this was the best pizza I’ve eaten in the country so far. The service staff was friendly and courteous. The name Baked in Brick is very apt since the pizza’s are being prepared in a real brick oven, by an Italian chef may I add. The dough was excellent. If I’d ever visit Birmingham again I would definitely consider stepping into this restaurant again.

Came across this place whilst out on a walk looking at street art in Digbeth today. Super bakes - I can highly recommend the doughnuts, and the coffee was excellent. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere was jolly. We only had a 'pit stop' on a walk, but there were lots of people in the cafe/restaurant enjoying food in a very relaxed atmosphere. A great place. Loved it.

We had booked a table for 12.30, arrived before time but had to wait for over an hour for our food. They then had the audacity to charge my daughter a service charge!!! What service, it was nonexistent. She would have queried it if we hadn't got to be somewhere by 1.45. Even ended up leaving some food as didn't have time to finish it. If you are going to allow walk ins without having booked a table, make sure you serve people who have booked first. Won't be going back

Really disappointed with this place after it got rated so highly on here. Had booked a table for 12:30 for 3 of us, only ordered 2 pizzas and a croque monsieur and it took an hour. They apologised 5 minutes before the food came, brought complimentary olives, and when the food came, it was nice enough, but pizza was VERY oily in the middle and the croque monsieur wasn't all that. Music is incredibly loud, table was incredibly sticky. Whilst we were eating, I asked for the bill as we had somewhere we urgently needed to be, 5 minutes later and they hadn't even managed that so I had to go to the till for that. What got me was after we paid and rushed to where I needed to be I checked my receipt and they'd charged a service charge! For what service? It was some of the worst service I'd ever received. Really unimpressed, and not somewhere I would go back to

A nice environment, perfect pre mockingbird cinema meal, but, the pizza was not great... I question the freshness and/or quality of the mozzarella. Not my finest pizza experience in Brum - sorry.

Food so tasty well worth a visit

Very nice and cosy pizza place. All the pizzas that we ordered were very delicious and value for money. The beers were also good and especially the point five even though it has only 0.5 alcohol. Good service, as they very easily and conveniently split the bill according to what we ordered.

Horrible toaties, way too plain and £2 for a salad literally two pieces of rocket and mushy tomatoes and yet they ask you to pay for the service charge too. I dont mind paying for average food but this is probably the worst experience i had in digbeth.
