Thanks for catering our recent event at The Compound. Thanks for working with us to help provide breakfast and lunch, plus tea and coffee to all our attendees. The food was delicious and very well received. Looking forward to working with you again!

Great place! We had two pizzas with halloumi fries and everything was perfect! So tasty and lots of food. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The place itself is unique and has great vibes.

Been to this lovely little restaurant a couple of times now. You instantly feel welcomed by the lovely genuine staff working there. The main thing they do there is traditional style brick oven baked handmade pizzas, they look amazing although I haven't tried them myself others in the group said how great they are. I have personal tried dishes off the small plate menu and the loaded fries. I was very impressed by what I had. Worthy of a particular mention was belly pork bites with the pickled cucumber and pickled chillis. These were so tasty. Also the coffee is a lovely blend, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to coffee, so this pleased me to have a quality coffee. All in all this place is worth a visit even if it's just for a quick coffee and pastry.

Emma B was a brilliant host, very friendly and easy to talk to. Food was brilliant, I regretted not having the BBQ once I tried my fiance's. All around, a great place for a pizza, fast and friend service. Will be going again.

Great pizza! The dough was great. The blue cheese dip needs improvement - could barely taste any Stilton in it. Service was friendly. Good selection of pizzas and drinks. Dirty fries looked great but didn't get a chance to try. Would recommend

Baked in Brick is great! The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit a delight. It's no surprise they're constantly bagging awards. A must-visit spot for anyone seeking superb food and a nice experience in Birmingham!

Good points...fast service, served hot, big pizza. Pizza itself pretty good, but a bit too heavy and chewy for my preference. Some negatives: noisy, uncomfortable chairs, grotty carpark at rear. Generally not a relaxing, pleasant experience. No reason to return.

Booked a table for 17 for a birthday celebration. Helpful from time of booking through to the day. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great food…all came out together and everything we ordered. Will definitely highly recommend to others.

Pizza is excellent but service needs to be more consistent. I came on a Saturday night before a gig at the institute and had food in less than 30 minutes but came in on a workday lunchtime with only a few tables and it took over an hour for a pizza that takes a few minutes to cook. Would love to eat here more lunchtimes but can’t risk being away from the office for over an hour every time!

Night out with the girls we were all starving an we just happened to pass this restaurant and decided to try it. Well we were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome we were shown to our table, and asked if it was ok. The staff were really nice and friendly. We had duck pitza, sexy fries and some starters. The food was amazing. Would definitely go again. It is a little gem.

Good food and good service but not a fan of forced service charges. The service was good and we would have left a tip anyway, but whenever it's forced on me it leaves a bitter taste

I’ve been to UK plenty of times and I can confidently say that this was the best pizza I’ve eaten in the country so far. The service staff was friendly and courteous. The name Baked in Brick is very apt since the pizza’s are being prepared in a real brick oven, by an Italian chef may I add. The dough was excellent. If I’d ever visit Birmingham again I would definitely consider stepping into this restaurant again.

Came across this place whilst out on a walk looking at street art in Digbeth today. Super bakes - I can highly recommend the doughnuts, and the coffee was excellent. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere was jolly. We only had a 'pit stop' on a walk, but there were lots of people in the cafe/restaurant enjoying food in a very relaxed atmosphere. A great place. Loved it.

We had booked a table for 12.30, arrived before time but had to wait for over an hour for our food. They then had the audacity to charge my daughter a service charge!!! What service, it was nonexistent. She would have queried it if we hadn't got to be somewhere by 1.45. Even ended up leaving some food as didn't have time to finish it. If you are going to allow walk ins without having booked a table, make sure you serve people who have booked first. Won't be going back

Really disappointed with this place after it got rated so highly on here. Had booked a table for 12:30 for 3 of us, only ordered 2 pizzas and a croque monsieur and it took an hour. They apologised 5 minutes before the food came, brought complimentary olives, and when the food came, it was nice enough, but pizza was VERY oily in the middle and the croque monsieur wasn't all that. Music is incredibly loud, table was incredibly sticky. Whilst we were eating, I asked for the bill as we had somewhere we urgently needed to be, 5 minutes later and they hadn't even managed that so I had to go to the till for that. What got me was after we paid and rushed to where I needed to be I checked my receipt and they'd charged a service charge! For what service? It was some of the worst service I'd ever received. Really unimpressed, and not somewhere I would go back to

A nice environment, perfect pre mockingbird cinema meal, but, the pizza was not great... I question the freshness and/or quality of the mozzarella. Not my finest pizza experience in Brum - sorry.

Food so tasty well worth a visit

Very nice and cosy pizza place. All the pizzas that we ordered were very delicious and value for money. The beers were also good and especially the point five even though it has only 0.5 alcohol. Good service, as they very easily and conveniently split the bill according to what we ordered.

Amazing location with funky interior. Fantastic service from super friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. And food was incredible - I think the best pizza I've ever eaten! Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Horrible toaties, way too plain and £2 for a salad literally two pieces of rocket and mushy tomatoes and yet they ask you to pay for the service charge too. I dont mind paying for average food but this is probably the worst experience i had in digbeth.

First time visiting here and would definitely return. The pizzas are huge and a good variety on offer. They were a little burnt round the crust but understand this is due to the method of cooking. Our waitress Emma B was amazing. She clearly loves her job and is naturally very good with customers. She chatted to us and gave advice on food. It was lovely to talk to her throughout the meal. Great customer service :)

Booked originally for 15 people but then had to amend this to 19. They were very accommodating of this. The food was great as well as the service despite there being a lot of us. Paying the bill was done with ease given it was split between 19 people with some people having already paid a £10 deposit and others not having done so. Will definitely be going back!

The pizzas are incredible , the staff were super friendly as well , only tiny gripe is you have to pay for sauce

This is THE BEST vegan pizza I've ever had 🥹 The crust, the sauce, the "lamb"... I don't know how they did it. Must try spot in Birmingham!

Amazing little pizza place with delicious sides and some of the best pizza's in Birmingham. They also do their own bread and treats, we always get a sourdough loaf.

Had such an amazing experience at baked in brick! Booked a last minute reservation for 12 people meaning we weren’t able to tell them our preorders, but everything was still executed perfectly! The food was amazing, and the service was second to none. Splitting the bill was also super easy which is only a little detail but a big benefit for a large group. Thank you so much to all the girls who served our table yesterday!

Not sure if it’s just my pizza that was bad or what but looking at the great reviews we’ve come here for a good Italian pizza. It was more like nachos - thin and burned, horrible choice of cheese as well. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

There is a service charge at 1,65£ but they don't inform you before when I think they should, because it's not a very usual thing in the UK (it's common rather in the continental Europe). Pizza very average, not a very good dough - rubbery and too thick. Staff not professional, she took my beer even though there was still almost half of it left and didn't even asked if I was still drinking it.

Great little bar and restaurant, we had the best pizzas outside of Italy 🇮🇹 good food, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Went here yesterday it was the best pizza place I've ever been to. The pizza tasted amazing, and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend to anyone. You should try the sexy chips they were to die for.

My first time dining in at BIB but have eaten their pizzas at pop up street good markets before. Booking online was really straight forward for Mother's Day using online website. Had a text a few days earlier stating the lunch menu would not be available, only the pizza menu which was a bit of a let down given the occasion. Arrived 15 mins late but rang the restaurant to let them know and they were accommodating. Food and service was top notch. Would definitely try there again for Sunday lunch with the kids!

Had to leave because the bar waitress was very rude and prejudice. Careful out there!

Really disappointed, I know it's near Christmas but we were really crammed in, the pizza was really unseasoned and flavourless and the cocktails were pretty mediocre, I certainly won't be going back.

The pizza dough was truly awful… how the owner can prize himself on quality ingredients is baffling. Overpriced flour and water served with sub standard cocktails. The only saving grace for this place is the lack of competition in the local area. Speak to any member of staff and they will tell you that the owner simply doesn’t care and has zero respect for them and his customers.

Pizza was ok not very hot, I do find the portions when ordering the sides to be very small and more on the pricer side. Service wasn’t off to a great start considering the door wouldn’t open properly when trying to enter and the waitresses even looked at us and continued with their conversation, I mean I won’t be rushing back but glad I tried it out.

Grabbed coffee and a sweet treat with friends and let's say the portion of the cruffin was big enough to share between four people and we all agree it was perfect in light fluffy layering and that butter taste was lovely. Just the right amount of sugar dusting on the outside.

Lovely Sunday lunch at BIB Sutton Coldfield. Only one option which is great if it is done well. No bought in stuff here, all fresh, tasty with great service! Recommend

This was my 2nd visit to baked in brick and the food is great. Always hot and tasty. Both times have been for work so would like to take friends and family to compare. They have vegan options which in fantastic for my milk allergy.

The pizza I had the goats cheese was one of the best I’ve ever had! I’ve traveled around Italy and know my pizzas! The nice char on the crust and the quality of the ingredients used. No flop on the pizza nice fluffy crunch brilliant pizza! 5 stars all day one of the best places in the uk! Very friendly staff with great service.

Have been here many times and always enjoy it. My son and his friends loved the pizza and I found the Chardonnay particularly good.

This place is amazing. Second time I’ve come here, their food always hits it out of the park. Their pizza is absolutely spot on. Don’t miss it, if you’re in the custard factory next.

Not even worth the one star- turned up to be told there was no chef or waiting staff for walk ins but visibly cooking & serving food. What a strange way to run a business. Reading other reviews seems we had a lucky escape!

2022 Review: Micro aggressions personified. It was downhill the moment we walked in. We had a table booked for 7pm, arriving 10 mins before the hour. Two workers were busy with tasks (one re-stocking, the other tidying the counter). We stood in the area of the door where it said 'wait here to be seated'. The worker re-stocking drinks walked past us FOUR times and did not even acknowledge us to say he would see to us and the other worker was completely oblivious to our existence. Side bar: As someone who has been to Baked in Brick before I know it is not a big place so it is easy to see people when one enters through the door from the back to front. The only exception being the outside place. To make matters worse, a local worker from another Digbeth business came in and was instantly acknowledged. Then not soon after they had left, another group came in after us walked past us and were acknowledged by both the incompetent staff members, seated in 10 SECONDS. By then waiting for close to 15 minutes I eventually had to go up to the man and say we've been waiting. Both members were apologetic but didn't seem to have a clue why we were waiting there. Extra side bar: My personal past experiences of Backed in Brick have been interesting exciting flavoursome pizzas that are worth the extra mulla. After being seated on a NON-SANITISED table (which becomes a running theme we notice throughout more customers arriving) we are asked about drinks and food. My bellini and chorizo bites were the only thing worth talking about as both were satisfactory. Pizzas were very average and not worth a write-up. Many other customers came and waited in the same position we were and an instant acknowledgement from the workers were had except one group who were of indian descent also waited quite some time to seen to. There was even one group that came in to be turned away due to no tables at that time and still came back 10 mins later to be able to be seated within seconds of re-entry. Can you tell we were peed off at this point? We all felt very reluctant to pay due to the initial interaction but eventually did and departed. I don't like to call the race card because I believe in the good of human beings before anything. BUT as it happened we were the only diners for the majority of our time (the last 20 mins we were there, customers of indian descent were present) there that happened to be visibly different to other customers. Hate to see and say it but I'm calling it what it is. This experience has tainted any future dining with Baked in Brick sadly. 2019 Review: A great place in one of the livelier parts of Digbeth. The decor is welcoming and the space is quite open plan. We were fortunate to go on a 2-4-1 deal and had the duck and anchovy pizzas. Delicious and filling, there were plenty of options. Staff were wonderful and I would happily go again.

Great atmosphere but the menu is rather strange. Pizza turned up like a calzone but was like a pasty with gravy inside. Freshly cooked. Go for the atmosphere. Will try the lunch time menu next time which is a bit more varied.

The best pizza outside of Italy I've tried in the UK so far is to be found in this cozy place right into the artsy district of Digbeth. Came here to eat with my Italian friends on my stag do and we all loved it. The dough they have is practically perfect and the wooden oven baked pizzas were tasty and topped magistrally. Attentive and friendly service throughout made sure we enjoyed the meal without being too intrusive. Good choice of wines and cocktails too. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you're in Brum and looking to grab a truly delicious Italian style pizza.

Nice place, the smell of fresh baked pizza was lovely. Staff were cool too. The kids were allowed to run about a bit, while it was quiet.

The food was a limited choice I understand from staff only been open for two or three weeks .We were only offered 3 items off the menus poached or fried eggs on toast Pea pesto or a cheese and meat board this was not what I was expecting The coffee latte was excellent the beer was not tea chilled I wish them all the best and hopefully success with this venture but I felt let down today when I was expecting a lovely dining experience This was the new branch in Sutton Coldfield

Had a magherita pizza to go today for lunch and it was the best pizza I’ve had in Brum since Rossopomodorro closed down in selfridges years ago… As good as any pizza I’ve had in Europe on my doorstop… we’ll done to the kitchen staff!

I visited Baked In Brick with my partner. We were seated and given a menu before having to wait 20 minutes without any table service. Also, a group of 4 (who came in after us) had to ask at the counter to be served. The waiter then served them before us and completely ignored us. Other members of staff were just wondering around and not serving anybody. In the end, we got up and walked out. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Awful experience

Huge pizza fan here, have to be honest this pizza is not memorable, nothing special about it. The garlic bread was also really disappointing and small. The worst part about the place is however the staff, so inattentive we felt like we weren't wanted there from the moment we walked in and stood waiting to be seated while staff walked past us without a word, we had to ask for cutlery, for our table to be cleaned, for napkins and even for the bill as the staff consistently walked past our table. After such poor service we then find there is a service charge automatically added to the bill, I have no issue paying service where it's due, but they really have some basics wrong here.

Outstanding..eaten here twice in the past few weeks and will definitely be returning
