We didn’t have a booking and although the restaurant was very busy, they fitted us in. We are so pleased they did, what an absolutely lovely restaurant, decorated to a very high standard. Our server was lovely, she took time to speak to us and answer any questions, such a lovely young lady. I hope she travels to New Zealand one day, as we discussed how lovely it was. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, I had the onion soup & lasagna, my husband had the crispy lasagna which was so unusual and delicious, he then had prawn linguine, all our meals were delicious and generous portions for a lunch menu. We will certainly visit this restaurant again. Amazing staff & food.

I had an amazing dining experience, and it was all thanks to the outstanding service from Paulina. She was welcoming, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. She made sure our needs were met throughout the meal and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Her knowledge of the menu and her thoughtful suggestions made the meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter such genuine, top-notch service. Thank you for making our visit unforgettable – we can’t wait to come back!

Good food , but only the desserts were great. They had a lot of open tables but had to sat us in front of the toilet.

I came here for my birthday with a few friends, i had been before and it was amazing and again it was as just as good, the food is delicious and the staff were brilliant and the restaurant was beautiful. No complaints at all i would highly recommend to anyone.

It was OK. Not amazing. Not terrible. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy - good buzz about the place. Decor is ok - lots of plastic lemons around! 3/5 Food was 50/50. Surprised at the limited menu choice. Had 'foccacia' to start. Menu described it as pizza base with cherry tomatoes and parmesan shavings, which is exactly what we got, but not what I'd call foccacia. It was OK but quite burnt on the edges. I guess that's what they meant by 'stonebaked'. 2/5 Main course was good. Very nice pasta, good flavours, decent sized portions. Can't fault it. However it took quite a while to arrive. 4/5 Gelato for dessert. Tasted good, but presentation was terrible. The bowl must have been hot cos it arrived as a half melted lake, but more importantly without any kind of decoration. No fruit, no mint leaf, no wafer, no sauce, not even a dusting of icing sugar. Literally 3 scoops of (runny but tasty) ice cream in a bowl. 2/5 Service-wise also 2/5. Staff were polite enough, although a bit off-hand. Definitely wasn't "service with a smile" or going the extra mile. We had quite a lot of crumbs on the table after our "stonebaked" (I.e. Burnt) starter and it would have been great if the waiter had taken 10 seconds to wipe it inbetween courses, but no such thoughtfulness. As mentioned, we had quite a long wait for our main course. There was a large group next to us which I guess would have held up the kitchen but when it eventually arrived not even a "sorry for the delay". So overall: quite underwhelmed. The pasta was decent but I've definitely had better Italian meals in Glasgow and I'd say this place is overrated.

I was here for the 2nd time last Friday and even though it was busy they managed to fur us in which we really appreciated. From the minute you step into the restaurant until the minute you leave you are made to feel so welcome. Service is outstanding and they go over and above to make sure we had an amazing night. Food was outstanding, all fresh and tasted so good and it was the best Prosecco I’ve had in years!! Special mention to our server Murrin she made us all feel comfortable. She answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable in the menu and drinks! Me and my friends had a fantastic night and can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous birthday celebration. Food was excellent with a good selection. Our waitress, Murrin was fully engaging and did not shirk when there was an empty glass. Classy venue with a mixed clientele and quite busy. Would recommend booking. Food was to a high standard and the atmosphere very convivial. Be back soon.

Highly recommended. Visited on a Thurs night. Service was excellent from the moment we entered until we left,two hours later. Special mention to"Murrin" and "Marco". Food was 'top drawer' with generous portion sizes. We had Focaccia Al Pomodoro, Monkfish, Mafaldine Al Ragu. Each dish was exceptional. Finished off with Lemon Tart and Tirimasu. Prices were also very good. A great experience. ***** (Sorry for the poor photos).

I had an early dinner there today. The staff are very sweet and helpful. They made the food ten times better. They gave us a perfect table for one person. Definitely try the mussels.

I was terribly disappointed with the food! There was a very long wait for our dishes! The lack of any seasoning in the food made the dishes absolutely tasteless. The non-alcoholic cocktail was disgusting, horribly sour. The prawn pasta was awful and over cooked! All in all, our anniversary was completely ruined! Would not recommend!!!

Decent food doesn't make up for extremely poor service! Large group booking on a saturday night, we placed the food order 1 week prior and then waited 75 minutes after the time that our tables were booked before our food started to get served. Absolutely ridiculous! Then at the end the guys served us a large drinks order 5 mins before we were asked to leave becouse they needed the table back. Tereble experience from start to finnish.

Santa Lucia is a fantastic Italian restaurant that never fails to impress. From the moment you step in, the friendly staff make you feel completely taken care of, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious and might I recommend trying Mafaldine Funghi e Salsiccia (personal favourite)! What truly stands out, though, is the friendly and attentive staff that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. HIGHLY recommended!

It was the service - the vibes actually ruined our night. Glasgow is such a foodie city that good enough food isnt enough. There is better Italian in Glasgow. Perhaps they were going for formality but it came off poorly and I think they were were trying to hit a bar they weren't at. You're not silver service. For an Italian their dessert menu was also so poor its the first time I personally have been out for dinner and decided there was nothing worth choosing. Im writing this because I feel like there are other restaurants trying to make a name for themselves who make your night - as you expect when going out - and I really recommend choosing them over this establishment.

We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated within a few minutes by lovely staff and greeted with a glass of bubbly on the house as we were celebrating our 1 year engagement anniversary. The staff were a delight and the service was quick considering how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday night. The food was phenomenal and arrived quickly too. A great experience and we will certainly be back!

If you want an authentic Italian experience, Santa Lucia is the place to visit. Good service, good atmosphere and really delicious food. We would love to come again - and again.

A very, very delicious New Year’s Eve dinner! The pork and mutton are amazing! The fragrance melts in your mouth! The service is also perfect! Why is it only 4.7! Which rebel against Tiangang gave a low score! It deserves 5 points!

Bogdan was very helpful and knowledgable. The food was very good and the wine very enjoyable. The menu and wine choices were just about perfect, not too many which can be overwhelming and bewildering.

Staff and service was terrible, always having to get there attention to get served, festive menu and normal menu offered but you had to choose from the same menu , never heard of that ever before, sea bass dry and over cooked pasta overrated, definitely overpriced and overrated

Absolutely superb Xmas lunch here with work colleagues. There was around 20 of us so a big table but the service was bang on. There was constantly people floating about making sure we had drinks etc. I never had to wait in between pints for another arriving. Food was fantastic. To start I had the pancia di maiale which was beautiful slow cooked pork belly - absolutely delicious. For the main I had the turkey (tacchino di natale). The main was tasty too although it didn’t look particularly pretty on the plate. Pudding was a sticky toffee pudding which again was delicious and a nice way to finish the meal. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and would absolutely visit again.

Well what can I say, after trying to get a booking for a party of 8 for around 7pm and being told the only time they had was 4:15pm, I thought this place had to be good. Wow we weren't disappointed, but the only downfall was the waiting area is very small and 4 of us had to stand whilst our table was being prepared. The decor was breathtaking and with the Italian aroma surrounding the restaurant all made for a wonderful experience. Although we had to choose from the festive menu all dishes we had was cooked to the highest quality. They (the staff) even sang happy birthday to my father in law whilst bringing him a little cake for afters. Will definitely be going back on next visit to Glasgow. Thank you Santa Lucia for a great experience 👌🏾 Recommendations - Fillet steak and Beef Ragu.

Mussels in a Prosecco sauce and seafood linguine were amazing!! Service impeccable as always, the 2nd birthday we’ve visited for and they are always attentive, and the happy birthday singing throughout the restaurant really impresses our 3 year old!

Booked a table of 15 here for my sisters birthday and it was absolutely perfect. From the friendly welcome at the door to the exceptional service from Murrin. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her and she made sure I could relax and enjoy the meal whilst she looked after everyone. Everyone commented on how good the food was as well. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back again.
