Sanleos restaurant in Wakefield

We visited the restaurant for lunch on 6 April. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We decided to share a mixture of tacos and chicken fajitas, and it was fantastic. We would highly recommend a visit.

Went with a very large group of friends and were looked after very well. Beautiful interior. Excellent service and friendly staff who took a lot of effort to arrange the seating according to our preference. The food was great! Love that you can choose between Italian and Mexican for any course. Highly recommend San Leos to anyone!

Came here on the 27th Oct 2023 with family and our 9 weeks old daughter. What a SUPERB evening!!! We were really well looked after, by what I assume was the head waiter/bartender, he was such a lovely man! The food was delicious and we had such a memorable evening, evening including our little girl in the antics! Brilliant night, one where we will talk about it for a long time to come! Thank you so much for welcoming us and including our little one!

Ate here last night for my sister's birthday celebration. It was at 8.30pm. The restaurant was quiet and not vert warm. But they immediately turned a 2nd heater on which helped. It's a shame there wasn't more people in as a lively atmosphere would have been great. We all ordered Mexican food. There was a slight mistake with our starters missing meat on the nachos but it was taken off the bill and they were still nice. We all had either tacos or fajitas and they were delicious. We were given tequila shots at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. I really hope this place gets busier. Don't know if it is earlier. Wakefield definitely needs a Mexican restaurant and although they serve Italian food also I personally think Wakefield is saturated with Italian restaurants so Mexican is much better. We would go back.

I had this restaurant recommended to me by a few people and thought I’d give it a try. This is actually my second visit so obviously I liked it the first time. The food was delicious. The menu is Italian and Mexican. I went for Mexican but others in had Italian, both were delicious. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Visited with my partner last Thursday to catch the rare British Sunshine on their lovely sun terrace, had drinks and food, the whole experience was amazing, food was sublime, staff were attentive and very friendly and polite and the bill was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back soon. AAA+
