Any restaurant that offers a authentic special recommended dish which contains rice and chips on the same plate needs to give up. I don't understand how there still operating. There rubbish.

We have been in here and looks great from the out side but the minute you pass the bar well looks like you when on time backwards as the floor is uneven easy to trip and not even tape it so you don't trip. The toilets well, don't have male and female labels on the doors or signs. As it looks dirty and untidy looks like not one looks after them or bother to keep them clean as was no even a soap the doors wasn't any lock, The Food well looks ok but not great. The priceses well is not that expensive as you will expect and the quality of that type of Restaurant. Service's well as is a tapas bar and a restaurant is busy but a good service and well manners but is to much confused on the bar attendant as is no that many guys behind the bar. Do i want to go back? Well if the improve i will probably eat there. Do i recommend well if you like those types of places you can go and check it out.

Well I don't even know where to start. As Portuguese I was very disappointed with this restaurant a shame. The meat was reasonable service very bad the owner always drinking alcohol The maid always on the phone more than 1 hours waiting for food if we wanted something we had to get up to ask because of the lack of attention of the employee and the most serious racist attitudes to We on the part of the owner in which he already has the fame of such and unfortunately i proved the one. The bill is something big than it should be. First and last time DO NOT RECOMMEND

I WILL NOT BE BACK ANY MORE. I tried a new restaurant with my girlfriend and was very disappointed. The worst I've seen in London. Nothing compared to a decent Spanish or Portuguese restaurant. The worst service, food was bad and misleading. NO VOLVERÉ MÁS. Intenté un nuevo restaurante con mi novia y me decepcionó mucho. Lo peor que he visto en Londres. paid for all our drinks advanced order food and waited for our food for nearly an hour ! my food arrived and then after 30 minutes wating for my partner's food to arrive we just decided to leave without me touching my food as i wated for his food to arrive we were chased outside by various people threatening to call the police ! they're incompetence was due to the staff drinking alcohol behind the bar and the person in charged call us rubbish peoples" his own words ! disgusting service , no attention to us was given to us whilst thete as the staff were drunk

On a main street there is no parking attached directly to this restaurant. The decor is simple a fairly run down. However you are not coming here for the decor. The service is very slow especially when busy. The waitress will add things up on her telephone. It takes a while to get served and get the food out. If busy you will need to count a good hour to hour and half between the time you walk in and you have your food on your table. You need to order at the counter. If you are coming here it is not for speed but for comfort and that is exactly what they are delivering. The food in overall great and goes well with the overall atmosphere they are creating. If you are in a rush you are in wrong restaurant. The prices are good and the variety of Mediterranean is refreshing. I personally do not like to wait too long for my food and hate when we are not eating together with the rest of the table. But pass this you can have an excellent mix grilled for £15.50 and that comes with rice and french fries. If you are in area AND not in a rush I would recommend it.

I visit the Portuguese restaurant with my Spanish girlfriend for a late evening meal. We are impressed with the prompt service from the waitress. The food is very well cooked and the lager served from the draught tank is very much appreciated. Like the Mediterranean style of the restaurant.

This place is shocking. Service was so slow. Had to wait an hour for our table. We had to ask 6 times for drinks. Food was very poor. And the staff didn't care and got defensive when we complained. We witnessed other customers walking out due to poor service. Our night was ruined.

Taking a friend there for him to try Sagres beer, a good chicken piri piri (I thought it was good before I came in...). Where should I start?!? First refused me and my friend to go and dine in the back of the restaurant (Owner has a section there, where only “special” people can go). That was weird.... Second, every time he was bringing us something to the table (drink, bread, food, etc..) he would always walk into the back of the restaurant, 1 or 2 mins after, come back again with the items and all of them was disgusting. (Note kitchen sits in the middle of restaurants, why need to go to the back every single time??? very very dodgy...all his friends were there.) Maybe their friends pissed on the beer, through flies in the wine, spitted on the food and passed the chicken of the bin, before grilling it. I hope you guys enjoy your next meal there! Disgusting! Serve me a wine in a cracked glass (attempt to injury a customer) and with 5 flies in the wine (trying to poison a customer). How can you serve a glass of red wine with 5 huge flies in it, in a cracked glass and don't see it?? Meant the owner has done it on purpose! Now let me ask you the following: If an owner of any restaurant, does that to ANY customer, ANY customer at all (Even if you don't like the customer, let's assume for 1 min...), even only ONCE, what does that say to you about the way he conducts business and his customer focus?? Would you trust your family and friends health in a place with an owner that behaves like that?? Look at the rest of the reviews this place has and I let you "think" the rest... I will never trust my health or my family and friends to go in there and they eat and drink...they might get Cancer. I will never put my money into his pocket or even risk getting poisoned/killed by his antics. Basically, wish you good luck if you ever decide to walk in that place. An experience to never remember or repeat it again. But due to these days’ restaurants all depend of online reviews and TripAdvisor, it's my right & duty to share my personal experience at this place. My recommendation: Stay away for the sake of your own health & value for your own money. I'm sure you have other options!

We phoned on the spur of the moment for a table for seven and were told we couldn't be accommodated "at the front" but there was space "out the back" happily accepted this but was a mistake. Out the back was pretty much like eating in a shed! It looks like the owners had started to refurbish the area and couldn't be bothered to finish it. Furthermore even though this was inside there were numerous people smoking in the area (I'm sure this is illegal now?!) which as we went through the meal built up like a smog. All the smoking didn't warm the place up and we all ate with our coats on! I quite like the idea of an open kitchen and often it is nice to see your food being prepared but not a good idea here as the place looked like it had been bombed and can't imagine cleaning this area would be very easy (and to be honest not sure it had been for a while) The waitress was friendly and attentive but a little overworked. Drinks order was taken and delivered pretty promptly. Followed by food order which arrived in dribs and drabs. Those that ordered the meat skewers and steaks which came with rice salad and fries had their fries delivered when pretty much the whole meal had been eaten. I actually enjoyed the few tapas dishes and paella that I shared with my daughter but the remainder was at best average. Steak had to be sent back. It's a real shame that the owners have chosen not to invest or couldn't be bothered as I am sure this could be a really nice place. The front eating area certainly looked 50 x better. Couldn't decide if this place scored 1 or 2 but plumped for the 2 in the hope that it is on an upward curve rather than downward spiral.

Best food ever, especially sea food dishes. Cosy atmosphere and polite staff. We hired downstairs area for a wedding and christening parties and both times everything was to a high standard. Definitely recommend to visit and enjoy the food.

The owner and management of this place clearly want the place to close down. I went and ask for food on a Sunday and the waitress said last orders at 23.00, I ask if i can order take away at 22.00 and they say no because its Sunday, I asked for a manager and the manager said that the kitchen was now closed! Not sure if he couldn't handle a complaint or he is doing his best to ruin the business.

Food was extremely salty and dry and a lot of it seemed to have been microwaved. We left most of our main and sent it back, along with a beer that tasted of fairy liquid. Waitress staff said she didn't want me to complain to her and directed me to talk to the chef. The chef was rude, wouldn't let me speak and generally did not represent himself very well. I asked if he cared about receiving feedback, to which he just interrupted me and suggested we should pay the whole bill because we ate some bread and olives. We paid £20 of a £30 as a good will gesture, which he snatched off the bill tray and basically asked us to leave. Would advise against this restaurant.

A muito tempo não era tão mal atendido como fui neste lugar. O gerente nos atendeu e ofereceu uma mesa sem toalha. Pegamos a mesa esperando que o proximo passo seria a toalha e o menu. Ele nos trouxe as cervejas e nao voltou mais na mesa. Depois de uns 20min fui ate ele pedir o menu. A garconete levou o menu ate a mesa e tambem nao voltou. Estava-mos no fundo do restaurante onde é muito frio e os aquecedores nao suportam o ambiente. Uma outra cliente sentou na mesa ao lado e por incrivel que pareca acendeu um cigarro. A outra mesa com 3 homens aproveitaram e tambem acenderam seus cigarros. Neste momento nossas bebidas ja haviam acabadas e ninguem vinha pra saber se queriamos mais ou ao menos para pegar o pedido das comidas. Meu amigo levantou e foi ate a frente pedir mais 4 cervejas, pedido que foi ignorado pelo gerente. Depois de tanto esperar e sem mais paciencia fui ate o balcao pagamos pelas 4 cervejas e fomos ao Oceano onde la sim fomos muito bem atendidos e saboreamos uma comida de primeira por um preco semelhante. Nota zero pro Sangria, nao volto e nao recomendo.

I would like to state that I'm writing this review because I really hope the management take my constructive criticism on board. I live in the area and really want to see local businesses do well. Firstly, the restaurant has a great location right next to the station, and has by far the best decor out of any restaurant on Leyton High Road. It's a very welcoming restaurant and staff were friendly. The problems were unfortunate. Staff were friendly, however completely untrained for service. We ordered a prawn starter and then were told that they were out of prawns. When we decided to not have a starter, the waiter went to the corner shop next door, came back to our table with a blue plastic bag and told us that they had prawns now and could do the starter. Most importantly, if you are going to charge £10 for a starter in an area like Leyton, you better make sure the prawns are fresh and not from a freezer in a corner shop where they cost £1.80 a bag and have been in the freezer for a month. Secondly, don't let the diner see if you do. Despite ordering a completely different main, the seabass, it had exactly the same massively oversalted garlic sauce which the starter had. My main piece of advice for the owner would be to recognise that the prices being charged are not appropriate for the restaurant or the area. The cost on the menu for starters and mains are in line with top restaurants in central London with recognised chefs which is preposterous. Also, the billboard outside advertises the peri peri chicken option, which is more expensive than Nandos, just down the road. I don't mind paying twice what they charge, but only if it's worth it. Leyton High Road is not a prime dining location and the food isn't good enough to be charging such a fee. The local clientele will not pay it, explaining why it is only busy on a Saturday night. My advice in a sentence would be - either get a new chef or give your current chef training on how to cook. Give your staff service training. Adjust your prices - we all want to make money out of our business, however it's a big mistake to get your prices so vastly wrong. Take this advice and you'll be busy every night.

Terrible: calificación cero si es posible. Esperé allí media hora para una pizza. Cuando finalmente llegó, era demasiado pequeño y quemado. El personal parecía inexperto. Al menos me devolvieron mi dinero. Algunas de las reseñas de Google parecen sospechosas.
