Sangam in Manchester

We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our table in what is a very nicely decorated restaurant. The staff were very attentive throughout our meal. We had popadoms and a pickle tray to start which were very fresh and the mixture of pickles was very good. We both like a little chilli heat in our curries and both went for the chicken jalfrezi with a shared portion of pillu rice and a shared garlic naan. The meal was lovely and the portions ample. I had a couple of pints of cobra beer and my wife had a very enjoyable cocktail. All it all a very nice meal who cost around £80, we will definitely return.

This restaurant makes offers on Groupon or Taste card but staff lie through there teeth when customers try and use them. The food is above average, and decor nice but the restaurant is seriously let down but the dishonest management and staff serving you. If you don't want to provide offers to customers that's fine but don't sign up with Groupon then tell the customer after they have bought a voucher you don't accept them and they can struggle to get their money back. Same with Taste card if you offer a 2 for 1 offer that doesn't mean you have to have a starter and main for the offer to be eligible. It seems whatever a customer does you feel the offer is invalid just don't make offers if you only want to charge full price. Sunday buffet when offered used very inferior products to a la carte. Working away and looking for a nice meal and wasn’t disappointed. Good food, good staff and upbeat atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed dining here with family on a Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and attentive. The is an excellent choice on the menu with one or two dishes I hadn't seen before which I always like to see. The food was served promptly with no extended delays which contributes to the flow of the evening. One gripe wood be only one gulab jamon fore the dessert! We get three in Scotland, ha!

The service and people where lovely and very welcoming, I've tried new foods and found my new favorite - amazing food and desert My second language is English but the communication was very easy, even with my rough English The prices where not to high

Amazing no air con hottest day of the year apart from that food was amazing and so was the staff but air con I struggled with a spicy curry

Came here for our last meal of our stay away. Really good food, great decor and quick service! We both had the Jalali (4 chilli rating). It was lovely and spicy, we wish we’d had the lemon rice with it but the keema rice was still excellent. We definitely be back when we’re in Manchester.

This restaurant is one of the best I have eaten in. Decor and furnishings are beautiful. Friendly and caring staff. Great selection of drinks and food. Everything we had was fresh tasting and healthy. Great choices for vegetarians and vegans too. 10/10

Had a beautiful meal in this lovely restaurant, for my husband's birthday. Decor is lovely, and the staff were excellent. The food was some of the best Indian food we have tasted. Special mention to Hossain, who went out of his way to make it a special occasion for my husband. If in Manchester again, will definitely return.

Best Indian food in the City Centre. Food was very spicy so be careful if you're not that way inclined. Hossain is a proper charming fellow too.

Went with my partner whilst visiting for the Bank Holiday Weekend. Was curious as to what nearby restaurants were available. Was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food, timely service and the friendly demeanour of the staff. Ordered the Duck Malai Curry, Prawn Puri, Poppadoms and the Lamb Korma and was more than full by the end of the meal. The meat so tender, it melts in your mouth. The sauces were packed full of flavours and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would gladly come again upon visiting.

Food good but staff terribly rude - got shouted at for ordering a cocktail near closing time - will not be going back. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review on this site but the first time I’ve been anywhere with such rude staff.
