Nibble in Manchester

Hands down one of the most friendliest and yummiest food locations in the area 😍 staff go above and beyond to make sure every visit is great! Has an amazing vegan and gluten free section and the vegan breakfast is incredible!! And the cake selection! I had the vegan pumpkin latte cake and it was so good!!!! Picture shows the vegan breakfast with an egg added 😇✨

Such an Amazing small Café. The Staff is really friendly and was so nice and lovely when i ordered. The Vegan options are the best around and the price for the breakfast is actually reasonable and it is delicious.

The tribble chocolate brownie was perfect and gluten free! The tea pot was nothing special, I prefer loose leaf tea but still okay. So friendly waitress and cute place! Recommend :)

The most wholesome cafe in northern quarter! Run by absolutely lovely people :) the food is always 10/10 and so reasonably priced for the area! Lots of allergy friendly options with the tastiest veggie options aswell! my go to Sunday brunch place!

Went here with my friend for brunch before leaving Manchester, shame we only found it on our last day or we would've gone many more times :') there were plenty of vegan options for me to choose from, I opted for the mushroom shawarma with the soup of the day which was carrot and turmeric. the flatbread is made in-house too.

Nibble is a very cute, tiny pocket of happiness. The bagels are wonderful; fresh, HANDMADE in store, with a wonderful crisp. Literally the best bagel I’ve ever tasted. Both ladies serving were really warm and friendly. Lovely chai tea too!

Had the most incredible breakfast bagel and the sauce in it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten, 100% recommend!

Very disappointed with the lack of empathy this cafe has. I was unfortunately charged for 2 breakfasts, one of which I did not consume. In result of the panic of a wasp landing on our food and clothes, bear in mind I have ended up in anaphylactic shock when stung previously, a plate fell off the table along with the breakfast. This was a genuine accident, and although this was passed forward to management, the manager clearly couldn’t bother to come out and talk with us and demanded through third party that I paid for a second breakfast, which the kind waitress placed infront of me, already cooked, putting us in an uncomfortable situation. Not to mention the portion (half a slice of toast and 5 small pieces of cut up potatoes) was not worth the price I paid, let alone that twice over. I have worked in a cafe for 6 years and never once have I ever, nor would I ever, change a customer for a mistake or genuine accident where nobody was at fault. Unprofessional, unsympathetic, tight and stingy. We are all human and make mistakes. You say you’re women owned but can’t look after those that dine within your environment. An Epi Pen would have been cheaper than the second breakfast - should’ve let it just sting us.

Decided to visit Manchester for a day out with the kids and came across this independent shop that has gluten free and vegan options, so thought we’d give it a try. Cake was delicious, lots to choose from, albeit there were limited gluten free options. Kids had smoothies and breakfast bagels and they all enjoyed them. Pricing is okay, however if you’re on a budget I’d probably go easy on ordering too many options.

Great corner café to sit and people watch. Delicious bounty brownie and mango matcha latte. Kind, helpful people. Bakes a lot of gluten free!! 10/10!

Most things can be made vegan. Very tasty cakes. I tried the beetroot brownies on recommendation and ate half before I thought to take a photo! Nibble also has a range of savoury breakfast options and sandwiches. Drinks: Hot, iced, smoothies and shakes. I had a banana milkshake with coconut milk it was smooth, Milky and not overpowering with banana. If I'm this side of town again I'll be back!

Wonderful to find so many GF OPTIONS as I rarely eat cake but it was birthday and I really wanted to indulge! Only 4 Stars because Hot Chocolate wasn't hot or chocolate sadly...

Excellent knowledge of cc and allergies of all kinds, lots of swaps available on the menu for vegan, vg and gluten free. We sat in for breakfast and took some lunch away afterwards, both were lovely!

Stumbled across Nibble NQ for their corporate catering services for a meeting of 15 people - could not recommend more. We chose the Extra package, which was exceptional value at just £11 per head, which included your choice of a selection of: sandwiches; salads; additional items, such as fritters, bhajis bread for dipping, crudites etc; dips, such as hummus, salsa verde; and cakes/brownies (full menu is on their website). The portions were generous and everything was so tasty and fresh (particularly recommend the goats cheese and pesto sandwich, rhubarb and custard blondie and the cauliflower fritters!). Communication was great throughout, with little notes added on all the boxes and some extra brownie trimmings being a lovely extra touch. The client was delighted, as were we. Thanks again :)

Staff were very open about allergy information, the sandwich was delicious and the milkshake was top notch. Friendly staff and atmosphere with good music.

‘Cute’ cafe right? Took 30 minutes for our order to be taken and was served after those who came in after us. Me and my friend decided to order the ‘takes two to mango’ looking forward to a refreshing smoothie, however upon arriving the cup was warm and wet out of the dishwasher causing the drink to be unpleasantly warm. Moreover, the drink was overpowered by the coconut making it taste like slightly thick coconut milk, unfortunately my friend couldn’t drink it and I had to force myself to finish it, absolute waste of money. Looks can be deceiving.

Went for a light lunch with my friend...had the Spanish omelette and kale/tomato/pesto saled....was delicious...followed by a beautiful soft beetroot brownie....lovely staff and good service will definitely recommend

We don't often go into Manchester and we were struggling to find somewhere for a gluten free light lunch. We stumbled across this place and I'm so glad we did. They had a fried potato dish on their menu for the first time, it's a real winner and reasonably priced too. Just the right amount of chilli so it didn't overwhelm the rest of the flavours, and there are variations of it for meat eaters and vegetarians. Several gluten free cakes on offer as well. Next time this will be our first choice for lunch.

Found while looking for breakfast and left very happy. Bagels were crisp, food was tasty and the service was kind, polite and helpful. Very happy with my visit.

Amazing customer service and delicious food

I used to regularly grab cakes from Nibble when they had a concession at the UoM because they were insanely delicious and it’s hard to come by as a gluten and dairy free person. I nipped into Oldham St to grab a cake to go and opted for an apple oat slice. It was so dry and rubbery I took one bite and threw it away. Couldn’t taste any apple at all. It reminded me of when you make a gluten free cake and don’t put enough liquid in. It was like an ingredient had been left out or something. I don’t know whether they just had a bad day because it was the polar opposite to what I’ve had from Nibble before, although granted this was around 5/6 years ago.

I was super excited to discover a cafe serving gluten free pancakes and toasties in Manchester City centre as they barely exist. However when I went, half my pancakes were burnt and they were super cold. I purposefully left the burnt pancakes on my plate so the staff would notice but they didn’t acknowledge it at all which made it worse. It took the staff around 25 minutes to finally take our order even though only 4 other people were in the restaurant. I was looking forward for Nibble to be my new go to place because as a coeliac it’s rare to find somewhere like this but I am disappointed. They also never clarified if I was only GF or coeliac

Amazing gluten free & vegan options!! Food & drinks came quick and were absolutely delicious. A lot of places are lazy with a gluten free menu but theirs is so creative and comes together perfectly! Service was so lovely too, will definitely be coming back

Just had the best brunch here omg. I've never managed to get a seat inside before so my friend and I came super early (9.45ish on Saturday) and we were the only ones inside for a bit. The vibe is so perfect I just want to move in honestly. Lauren the owner served us and she was so lovely. I had the sweet potato hash and a mango smoothie, both 5/5, couldn't fault them. Definitely making this my go to brunch spot and will drag myself out of bed early to get a seat. Also, please consider leaving a tip as they really do deserve it and I'd hate to see this place disappear. <3 (And I'm giving another 5 stars for the playlist!)

Attended an event which Nibble NQ catered. The food tasted delicious and is healthy. The desserts are so amazing that I now ordered them all the way down in the Midlands.

What a gem of a place! Delicious food, served with a smile and an incredible dose of female empowerment. Could you get any better? I doubt it. I’d certainly go out of my way just to make sure I can grab me some Nibble cakes (the salted caramel brownies are divine!) Thanks girls, you’re awesome! X

Cute and cozy cafe, which serves delicious brunch 💕

We really wanted to love this place but... Ordered a takeout breakfast for 2 people that came to £28.50. The egg and avocado on toast was ok. The vegan breakfast did not come with the black pudding as on the menu, and seems a small portion for the price. The bread was way too small to eat all the guacamole on. The vegan sausages did not have a taste. We ordered coffees with cream and brownie bits and neither had them on. :(

So many gluten and dairy free options, (sweet and savoury) and such a lovely vibe in the cafe (girl power!!) they even have hot vimto on the menu !

I ordered the Christmas brekkie hamper and the Yule log for Christmas Day and my entire family loved it - we had to hide some for me and my husband to enjoy secretly later! The food was delicious, perfectly packaged and great brand feel. Would highly recommend! Will definitely be ordering again.

Getting a Christmas delivery from Nibble has become a bit of a household tradition for us! The mince pies and Christmas puddings are delicious and the fact that they cater for a range of dietary needs is really appreciated. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this by chance and wow! It was better than I could expected. The place itself is very cosy and cute. The staff were super sweet and inviting. The food was tasty - homemade baked beans, smashed avos with a citrus twist. I honestly truly enjoyed it and i’d definitely recommend if you are vegetarian like myself or if you are vegan!!

Super selection of food ,the salads were very tasty and a good vegetarian selection. Bit of a wait for service and most seating is outside but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

We used Nibble's corporate catering service for an afternoon treat for staff in our office. Lauren was incredibly helpful and patient while we decided what would be best to order for our team and even made food to order. The delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones went down really well with our team of 80.

This place is a real gem. The service was out of this world, the bagels & sandwiches amazing, and the gluten free brownies were to die for. A great pit stop any time of day.

The cake pot is the sweet treat I SO needed! Would go back and try out the lunch menu. It has a really nice vibe.

Placed a last minute order for a corporate event. Lauren got in touch quickly and kept me updated on the order, and the food was boxed up and ready to go when I called in. The portions were very generous, and the sandwiches a much wider range of flavours than the high street chains. Really good for those with dairy/gluten intolerances.

Dog friendly, tasty vegetarian food, and a really pretty spot on the street with plenty of character. The freshly squeezed orange juice was perfect for a hot day!

Had high expectations for the baked goods based on the many positive reviews but was sorely disappointed. Perhaps it was just an off day, but the cherry clafoutis and lemon meringue blondie portions we took away were really small for £3.50 each, quite flavorless, and there were literally two tiny scraps of cherry in the rubbery clafoutis.

Cozy little coffee shop with loads of Gluten free options. They can change the bread on all sandwiches to make them gluten free which is fantastic. We tried different drinks and everything was nice and not expensive.

Very good smoothie - I took “berry good” and affordable.

Menu was appealing and had a lot of promise but ultimately disappointing experience. Very average breakfast, poor presentation. The person who took our order messed up mine and my friends orders which was ok in the end but it just added to the already below average experience. Loved the concept of a female owned and run business but they need to step up with the quality of the food. I ordered a brownie milkshake and the veg breakfast. When I ordered the brownie milkshake, I asked for no cream after ordering it with plant based milk but person got confused with the order and it arrived with cream on the top. Didn’t even apologise or offer an alternative. Not to mention the fact that the milkshake was WARM even though the menu said it was made with ice cream. Perhaps they just used warm milk? Who knows. Veggie breakfast also average- butter wasn’t even spread evenly on the toast as you can see from the picture (although it would’ve been better if butter was put on the side to add myself). My recommendation: find another place for brunch/lunch. There are other places close by that will serve you much tastier food.

Great food and friendly service, we had the veggie and vegan breakfasts which were superb.

Goats cheese, avocado on toast was deliciously refreshing. So good came back an hour later for the salmon and cream cheese bagel which was excellent. Good helping of cheese, salmon and fresh dill. Cherry lemonade was lovely too. Great little place.

Great spot for a breakfast. I ordered the ultimate bagel + an iced Americano and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and attentive, but without being overwhelming or intimidating. I heard several other diners mention dietary requirements, and then the kitchen discussing it confidently while preparing orders, to ensure that was taken care of without compromising experience. (such as by topping up other ingredients when something was removed) Definitely recommend!

Food was ok, nothing extraordinary. Coffee was ok, also nothing extraordinary. Service was a little weird. We both got a slightly passive aggressive feeling but perhaps it's just the culture of the all-female led space. Probably wouldn't go again, probably would. I don't know.

Had a bite this morning with the kids and hubby. It was delicious. Bagels were to die for and it was very reasonably priced. We had to sit outside as it was busy but the table service was very efficient and they checked on us regularly. Staff were very friendly too. Deffo go back if I'm in town.

Really lovely little place! Came here with a friend for lunch, a small café so we were worried we’d be sat outside but luckily a table opened up in doors. Adorable and comfortable with great decor. The service was lovely. We had a coffee and the toastie and soup of the day deal, with three cheese toasties and a spiced tomato soup. The soup was amazing, some of the best I have ever had, delicious, warm and wonderfully seasoned. The toastie was cheesy and comforting and the bread it was served on was so fresh and tasty. Great high quality coffee too! The prices are so reasonable for how high quality and tasty the food is. I would highly recommend visiting these lovely ladies and leaving them a tip! My partner and I visited Manchester for a week and found ourselves at Nibble several times! As someone with dietary restrictions (dairy and gluten etc), I was amazed by how many things I could have on the menu. My partner was happy too as he could still have dairy/meat etc if he wanted. I had coffees, and a delicious vegan and gluten free brownie milkshake, and some soup and a toastie over a few visits. My partner had the pancakes and breakfast bagel and smoothies. We loved everything. It all tasted fresh and full of flavour. The staff were lovely and friendly too. Definitely recommend a visit!

Lovely little cafe in the Northern Quarter of central Manchester. Gorgeous food catering for people with various dietary requirements. Great herbal tea and other drinks selection. I like the quiet revolutionary way of this cafe too. The brownies are divine. I've tried the beetroot vegan choc, salted caramel gluten free, and triple choc GF brownie so far. All yummy, and other cakes available. In the photos - sweet potato on gluten free bread (with extra halloumi) dish. The furthest plate is the meaty breakfast, which my partner told me was delicious.

Always such a pleasure to come here! Food and staff are always 10/10 and the atmosphere is just lovely. It's a small intimate place with some great vegan & vegetarian options and lovely drinks. Definitely one of my favourite places in Manchester to go to!

Lovely little hidden gem! Really friendly and personal service, a varied menu from breakfast to lunch plus homemade snacks and cakes, and a drinks menu so large I ended up asking the staff to surprise me... Things are reasonably priced, and it's a cosy space with an open plan kitchen - a proper no-fuss independent cafe :) I'll definitely be in again (probably for a veggie brunch bagel), the real struggle is staying away!
