I ordered off just eat to have food delivered I'll thought would try this place...i ordered some food for me and my mom i had chicken burger/chips that was lovely well enjoyed my mom had masala fish wrap as she well loves masala fish and it's her 1st time in a wrap....her veiw when I asked her....she enjoyed it and loved it so all good 👍 we enjoyed our food. Thank you🙂

As my dad owns it, I eat from there everyday. In my opinion they have the best food I've ever had . Some people are saying 'they use their bare hands' yes they do but they wash their hands first. And some people talk about their chips being greasy, its just vinegar mate! My favourite thing to order is the masala fish because its 🔛🔝

Possibly the worst chip shop I’ve ever been to. Had a mixed kebab and chips. The doner meat was dripping with grease which I wouldn’t normally judge if the meat wasn’t like tyre cuttings. The chicken meat was as rubbery as the bottom of my shoe. And that isnt sarcasm. Chili sauce was about as spicy as a pack of monster much. Truly awful. avoid!

Ordered a donner kebab and it became my favourite. Really tasty I finished the whole lot! Scrumptious

Went in to order a cheeseburger and chips. The worker doesn’t use gloves or tongs will pick the bun up with his bare hands after handling everything else. Awful hygiene standards, really has gone down hill.

Worst fish & chips i have ever had. Cos was all soggy and soft, not edible and chips were hard. Very disappointing!!!

After leaving it 10 months after leaving negative review for owner. I just finished a long day at work. So decided to pop in for food. Yet again nothing has changed . 2 people behind counter . Service very slow 🐌. There was only the 1 serving who seemed busy and taking his time . The other standing at the back ignoring that others waiting to be seen . I walked out . I find this rude. That's fine you will never get my custom again . Seems the owner not bothered as there is others complaining about same issues . Keep your food rude staff

Rang to order a takeaway- was told to come in 30 minutes, upon arrival food was ready to take away and was nice and warm. The Quality of the food was amazing 👌- food was well worth the money spent. 😊

Just came here to get food to open my fast, iftari first they over charged me and make they own cost and when I asked for fresh chips with my meal gave me burnt ones. Never again come here. The price shows on the board are all wrong .

Always fresh. Amazing chips which im craving constantly, sfc chicken is absolutely yummy, burgers are delicious and big. Pizza has also got a great flavour when we ordered. Haven't been inside the take away so cannot comment on atmosphere. Otherwise food is worth trying. Delish!!!

Popped in for first time while waiting for a bus. Time 6pm. No customers waiting. 4 or more staff behind counter all prepping meals and pizza for delivery drivers just eat etc. The service was poor. 10 minutes before anyone acknowledge you are waiting to be served. I was about to leave the shop when they eventually came to serve me. Food was average at best and clearly they cook in advance. Chicken didn't taste good and chips barely warm. Won't ever return. Beware and please read the customer reviews. Eye 👀 opener! Would give zero if I could..

Good food and a reasonable price

Updated review, I gave this place a poor rating a few years back, however I tried the chips last few times and I can say its improved a lot. The price is very competitive unlike some of the silly prices out there. I'm glad your offering good value in these hard times. Keep it up.

This place is bad they put the price up with out putting it on the big flash price board. I have seen the staff blowing there nose on the paper used to wrap the chips on. Not washing there hands

Floors could do with a good clean and sweep as I cannot imagine what germs are being brought in when so many people are coming in and out! Surfaces and food preparation areas are quite clean though otherness I wouldn't step foot in there myself. Food is quite nice and decent sized portions so you do get your moneys worth!

Very good fish and chips reasonably priced

Ordered via delivery. Really tasty fish and chips, great portion size and price. Ordered chicken on the side which wasn’t as great.

Ordered 2 pizzas via there Web site, no issues...received conformation email with time of arrival 30 minutes after the due time the pizzas had never arrived, call the shop and was told 5 more minutes as its with the driver!!! Then it's funny how ours pizzas turned up and other 30 minutes later (so an hour and a half after placing the original order) the pizzas turned up hot (so they must have made the pizzas after the phone call), other wise as they stated they were with the driver so would have been stone cold!!! Won't be using this place again!!! Didn't even get an apology!!!!

My advice to all of you. If you see 2 or 3 people in this place avoid the place. Customer service is rubbish. There was 2 people already being served and about 4 people behind the counter. One just on his mobile texting .He does serve on counter at times. Waiting about 4 minutes and being ignored . Not the first time in here they do this . No more will I come here as terrible service when people in shop they so slow and ignore you . Take my custom elsewhere . Advice for owner is to improve speed and if you have workers standing about tell them not to ignore customers waiting .

Disgusting, poorly packaged and undercooked food. Tastes awful too. For your health avoid at all costs.

Just ordered this for our dinner and once I had opened the container there was what looked like a dead fly on my chips and it completely put me off it and had to throw it away.

This has been my #1 pizza shop for 10 years, after seeing the pizza I already ate half of had a Pube and mould on it, I'm bit disgusted tbf.

Customer service is abysmal, specified on the phone that I wanted mixed meat, ended up with only donner, then was told that I was wrong. Then wanted to charge me again for the replacement, Pathetic!

Absolutely terrible service. Did not deliver the ice cream we ordered and then we called and explained to have the manger turn up to our front door and call me a lier! Explained I would ring the bank and just get the money back. He then passed me the ice cream. Terrible! Terrible ! Terrible!!

Food is OK from here but service at times is rude . There are 3 people most of the time in shop . They ignore you and decide when they going to serve you at times. Lost my custom for sure after tonight

I hate to award such a low rating but honesty is the only way an establishment can improve on poor service. Food is hit and miss, as are the prices. Have been charged different prices for the same item on more than one occasion. If staff were a little more cheerful and showed some enthusiasm towards their customers, this could all be overlooked but unfortunately this aspect of the service is seriously lacking.

I order triple cheese burger and it was rotten and very bad smell was coming very disappointed with burger waste of food I throw in the bin I will not prefer to order burgers I waste my money......

Worse place, food is under cooked, and disgusting hygiene standards as my partner got ill. I'd like to point out this company uses fake reviews on just eat aka tanya to bump there overall rating. But people that leave genuine reviews you can see how terrible this company is. Avoid at all costs.

FOOD POISONING BEWARE!!! If I could give less than 1 star i would. Ordered via just eat and woke up following morning with stomach cramps and horrible sickness and all sorts. I ordered Donner meat and chips. I rang the takeaway to try and get a refund at the least, I'm happy to pay for food providing it's up to scratch and does not make you ill. Therefore I felt a refund was acceptable. Instead the person I spoke to tried to explain how they never have complaint before and tried to say I can't handle hot chilli sauce? Mate I have hot sauce all the time and it wasn't even hot, look at some these reviews. End if the day you had someone complaining and instead of coming up with excuses they should just refunded me my order seen as he had over 100 delivery that day what is £13?. He promised his gaffer will give me a call in which he did an hour later however I had missed the unknown call. It's been 7hours and no further attempt was made to contact me seen as a customer is unhappy and had a bad experience no thought is given to their customers. If I was anyone and you care for your family health AVOID this place at all costs. I will also be reporting them to environmental health as I genuinely got food poisining from here and I'll leave it to the experts to deal with. And anyone else readih my review I hope you don't make the mistake I did. I don't post fake reviews attached shot of my order, really think they need to start addressing things.

The worst chip shop in Oldbury. If I was the owner I would put more homely food. The customer service is not what people would expect they are rude.

A bit of a scam never buying from them again, bought like 10 12 times from them like 3 or 4 out of those they gave me a smaller portion of food than I ordered and paid for, Usually order chessy fries large multiple times they gave me small with my takeaway. So I wouldn't recommend them. Or just get the small and you know you are getting what you paid for.

Pre-ordered food for collection for the kids and when I got home and opened the packet we had been given chicken which had clearly been there a while and smelt horrendous. When I called to complain the worker basically told me to either come back and change it or there was nothing else he would or could do. I reported it to the local council and would advise no one to eat from there unless you want to get poorly.

I ordered a pizza from them today. The people that are working in this shop are quite nice and friendly but the point is the pizza was not fresh at all and it was smelling. An old left over material has been used not good at all. I ordered 9 orders previously and they were all nice and fresh but the 10th order collection unfortunately is the worst one. I do not know to eat the rest of the pizza pieces but most likely will throw them in the bin. I can come back in the shop for a refund but its not worth of my time and I am not wasting my energy just for £9. I feel like I am sick. Today it was my last day with "Sams". Its a shame really but I am never returning ever again.

Food good but staff not the friendliest.

I have no idea how uber eats has this place at such a high rating. The food was 20 min late. No tracking option on the driver for some reason or another. Called 3 times before someone picked up. The food is bland. The lettuce is old. Store bought patties. Not a single pinch of salt on the chips. Basically you can cook a full meal with mediocre skills of 5 £ with groceries bought at tesco.

Ordered through uber eat, food turned up on time but the quality of food was terrible, the chicken was dry, looked like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, the chicken burger was to small for the bun and had a soggy bottum.

Honestly worst food. Gave me diarrhoea😒. Place needs to be shut down. I started going to Steve’s plaice & the food staff & cleanliness is much much higher quality. And it’s literally 5 mins along the same road.

Uber Eats Order - Ordered at 9pm. Delivery estimate 9.40pm. Called at 10pm to chase, owner said he is short staffed and very busy, order can either be cancelled or wait another 20 mins. Order had not even been packed yet. Asked owner to add anything extra for inconvenience to be told no either cancel or accept 20 mins further wait. Order arrived 10.30pm. Food was slightly cold, naan burnt and half thrown away due to this, very small portions for the price. Will not be ordering again - terrible service and bad attitude.

Rubbish food tastes nasty and doesn’t give you the right charge

Ordered from here for the first time and the service was abysmal. When I received my order I was pleased to see that it was packaged well. However, when I opened the box I found a black hair on my chips. I was so disgusted and immediately called them up to complain only to be told that they dont know how the hair got on there, (as though it wasnt their error) and that I could order again for a discount instead of replacing or offering a refund. Had to get my refund back via just eat customer service. I wont be wasting money by ordering from here again.

I ordered a burger with fries, pizza and a drink. Delivery was on time. Food was hot and drink was ice cold. Food tasted great. This was the first time I ordered from them. The second time I ordered a take away the delivery was on time the chips were hot. Pizza was hot. Coke was ice cold but the chicken burger was not cooked properly it was under cooked and a bit crunchy and pinky red from inside.

Utter rubbish food... Not even fresh... Messed up my whole order... The guy doesn't even understand simple English, very bad customer service care... Never coming back to this unhygienic takeaway....

Horrible service, what has this business become? I used to order here a lot. I called the shop to order and the person literately blanked me for 30 sec so i cut off the line and then ever time i called, the server kept on cancelling the phone. I mean, this behaviour is quite atrocious and will definitely not come back because of this

I want a leave a unsatisfied comment. Firstly we made an order, to later find out the kebab was raw. To then be greater with a rude, in-polite man that muttered something “stupid” on the way out from replacing what was wrong. Compleatly unprofessional.

Don’t trust their service!!!! On your first experience.....the first time I ordered everything was good and it tasted alright but the second time I ordered everything was uncooked and tasted a bit old, I ordered some chicken thighs, chips and scollops and not one thing was cooked properly, the chicken was not cleaned inside as well the chips were cold and tasted as if there were fried over and over in old oil. The scallops were not cooked at all, the potato inside was raw it just looked cooked from the outside.....I had to throw everything in the bin....plus it gave me a stomachache...I clearly wasted my money on their food...I HATED THEIR SERVICE!!!!!

Never eat from here again had a mix kebab in a nan the kabab was not cooked right stared feal unwell fealing sick dehydrated and had the diarrhoea

I’ve had bad takeaways over time , and I was really looking forward to this one, after reading the good reviews . So to start I the driver couldn’t find where I lived , but they did ring to try and direct him, but after 10 minutes of talking to someone on the phone who had no knowledge of the local area , and then asking me to walk to them at 10:30 at night to get my food, then after a further ten minutes of the driver going in the wrong direction my food finally arrived. Although now I’d been put off by the bad over the phone service . When I felt the food it was luke warm, and the portion sizes of the large chips was very minimal. So I sent it back and said I didn’t want the food, I’d not paid as it was cash on delivery. So then as the drivers walking away he swears at me and my girlfriend, once or twice . Then around 5 minutes later I received a phone call, of who I presume to be a manager or the owner , by this point I’d just wanted to leave it any carry on with my night , he then started accusing me of lying , and got very aggressive over the phone , insisting I was the one in the wrong, and that delivery time wasn’t until 10:50 anyway, but my argument was I got a call at about 10:10 to say the driver was near and lost so in that 25 minute gap my foods been sat . He then told me I was wasting his food and money, and driver time. From reading other reviews I can fathom out that it seems to be one driver gaining this place a consistent bad review then when the customer wants to complain the manager give them abuse over the phone because he can’t accept that the driver is making mistakes, then after abuse of manager he then said he would get me banned for life . And then put the phone down. In which I then received a call of just eat saying the manager had attempted to get me banned of just eat as a whole as I was a “bad customer” , after talking the just eat guy we both it wasn’t my fault and he asked is there anything he can do to help, and I said I wanna drop it now , night already got ruined so there’s no point me trying to get any further just be told by the manager that I’m in the wrong again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
