Salutation Hotel in Aberdeenshire

The Salutation Hotel in Inverbervie is currently closed and it is unclear whether it will re-open again or not.

We visited the Sally again for a pint and a coffee as the bar in this small establishment is nice and the refreshments are of good quality. The barmaid was cheery and welcoming which was nice. We will be back.

"Sally" es genial para una bebida, la gente siempre habla y si quieres algo de comer la comida es hecha en el edificio y es generalmente de buena calidad comida de pub, el servicio puede ser un poco lento ya que la comida es cocinada a su gusto.

Nos llamaron para una bebida durante su estancia en camping por una noche y de inmediato nos dieron una bienvenida muy cálida de la gente y el personal por igual. Bueno 35 ml nips así!! Decidimos comer después de la cocina había cerrado pero que, muy amablemente, trabajó en y teníamos un curry, que era excelente. Mucha comida en el menú. Volveremos pronto.

Me he alojado en Bervie para mayores de 5 años y nunca he visitado el tratamiento antes. Gané un vale de comida a través de la rifa de la escuela para visitar con mi marido y mi hijo. El comedor es pequeño pero acogedor, con sólo 5 mesas. Hay un menú muy amplio, junto con una tabla de ofertas especiales. Mi marido y yo pedimos el pastel de carne y mi hijo tenía la hamburguesa y patatas fritas en el menú para niños. El único inconveniente era la longitud de tiempo que tuvimos que esperar en la comida para llegar (unos 50 minutos), pero la comida estaba bien vale la pena la espera. Muy bien presentado y muy sabroso. Mi marido y mi hijo seguido con los helados de fresa. En general, la comida es excelente, pero sólo visita si no tienes prisa. Yo aconsejaría reservar una mesa en el fin de semana. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Excellent food! One has to be prepared for a 20-30 minute wait for the food since it's freshly made to order! It is well worth the wait though! There are several good choices for all three courses and whatever one chooses, you won't be disappointed!! Would definitely recommend this establishment.

What a lovely warm welcome, ordered a pint of lager and the barmaids next question was "your not from around here". I wasn't aware only locals were welcome. Needless to say I didn't finish my pint

From the outside this looks like a fairly unassuming establishment. Inside it is a traditional, old fashioned pub set-up, warm and nice and clean. This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. After a study of the fairly extensive menu we ordered a chicken enchilada which came with a selection of fresh veg, cooked to perfection, chips and dry fluffy rice - a substantial helping by anyone's standards. Also ordered was an egg mayonnaise baguette which came fresh from the oven, loaded with egg mayonnaise with finely chopped parsley through it. It was accompanied with a crisp salad and home made coleslaw. This was followed by a shared syrup sponge with custard. We had a soft drink each. Bill total? £17 We probably had a fifteen or twenty minute wait as food was made to order but this was a small price to pay for a very enjoyable and reasonably priced lunch. Apparently this is a very popular venue locally and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing lunch.
