Good beer and wrap from falafel guys was unreal

Came here for valentines because Salt is one of my favourite breweries and couldnt recommend it more. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, the staff are absolutely lovely and the beers (of course) are amazing. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the seats were super comfy too. A great location not foo far from the train station, and just along the canal so a great view from the outdoor seating as well. Falafel guys, the food place attached also had some amazing food which could be enjoyed in the premises. I cant wait to come back to Leeds just to go here

Best beer I've had in ages! Staff were fantastic and very helpful. The falafels are honestly to die for!

Came in Off the Train after a "Lad's Night" in Manchester, had a nice relaxing beer with my pal and the barman was great. Quick Service, polite, chatty, interactive and just what we needed after a good night in Manchester. That good I came back in on Saturday night with a group of friends and chatted with him again. Excellent location for other bars, pubs and restaurants, also the train station, give it a go if you're in Leeds.

Good pint, spectacular place to sit outside near the canal if the weather is good.

Had lunch here on a sunny Thursday afternoon. Falafel wrap was good and the humus portion was huge. Bar was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Nice place to grab a drink on the canal. Lots of options on tap to choose from including cocktails on tap.

Nice place to have a quick pint whilst waiting for a train. The seating outside by the canal was good and in the sun.

Beer was good, but not in my everyday budget at £6 a pint. Staff were great. No hand pulled beers available.

A massive round tower building. Beer garden beside the river Aire. Pleasant staff. Good food & kitchen. Nice design. Toilets to the left of the bar. A little expensive.

Relaxing bar with seating beside the canal. Indoors is comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Food is surprisingly excellent (falafel guys).

I love this place. I found it about 3 yrs ago and I've going ever since, the staff are really friendly the location is excellent next to the canal with outside seating, food at Falafel Guys is also really nice. Family friendly, dog friendly just an all round excellent bar.

An excellent evening in the sun

Lovely pub with a great selection of beers and ales. Had a Falafel and Chicken Shawarma made by Sanjeeveeni which was gorgeous and exactly what I needed

Popped in for a drink on a Saturday evening. Good range of drinks available and friendly staff. If I have one issue, it was just a bit loud on the music front, but that's just my opinion. It didn't detract from the enjoyment of the evening. There is a choice of food available and is reasonably priced.

Nice craft bar. Not a massive range on tap but did have all the Salt mainstays plus a couple of specials. Nice layout . Grub going out looked nice. Really no idea why they have put mixed cocktails on tap. Very strange and low brow. Surely the back bar should be more craft taps? None the less recommended.

I stop at this place to grab a nice cup of coffee while on my canal bike ride. Nice coffee, outside seating. Does the job for me. :)

Great brewery bar in a unique building. Decent choice of keg and cask, would always recommend the Huckaback. Good service, location and atmosphere.

The Falafel and Halloumi salad bowl is very good. Coffee is ok but nothing special and the cocktails on tap are hugely disappointing. Atmosphere and staff all good.

Since my last post the kitchen is Falafel. The food is fresh and tasty. The Salt still has a relaxed atmosphere, bright and airy, great selections of all sorts of drinks. The staff are nothing short of wonderful. It is a bar worth visiting. Plus it is next to the canal and its always calming to be near water.

The only gluten free beer option is peroni, which is worse than no option. Nice place if you can drink gluten. Maybe they should stock their own gluten free beer Calico.

The food is good. The beer is good. But I’ve been here twice and they only ever have one person doing food. I just don’t get it!! I would think twice about going back because the wait times are so long, which is a shame because everything else is good!

I do love a really big neon sign to sit under while I eat my food. They even had a jar of dog biscuits. Nice food and staff were really good. Dog loved it too. Turned out nice again.

Came here for a work’s Christmas party and they food was shockingly bad. Cold salad wraps and communal dry hummus and pitta. Awful. Staff were pleasant and drinks were a reasonable price but don’t spend on food here it’s diabolical.

We have just spent a long weekend in Leeds and the SALT bar in Granary Wharf is amazing! The beer, service and food was exceptional. We were all made to feel really welcome and visited every day! I cannot thank the team enough for looking after us! I cannot wait to visit again in 2023!

Decent craft beer bar serving SALT brewery beers mostly (no surprise!). Very friendly service, good beers, nice location overlooking the canal area. Has a fast food counter within it (think it's called 'Falafel Brothers'🤔) serving things like falafel, Halloumi chips, sweet potato fries which were tasty.

Nice setting and helpful staff who provided samples and good insights into drinks. I asked for a light beer and the bartender helped me out accordingly with suggestions!

When I sat down the metal chair crumbled beneath me leaving me on the floor, On getting another it turned out there were rusted cracks along the seams that broke on the other this fortunately survived the rest of our meal. Frustratingly the restaurant and bar parts here work separately from one another meaning that to have your drink with your food warm requires more forethought that we had. Drinks were good and staff were nice. Weird glass barriers make getting around the place weirdly awkward

Great bar for quick drinks after work

Visited this bar a couple of times. Moored right outside at Granary wharf on our travels. Bar was dog friendly and good selection of lager. Tables sticky and not well laid out. Terrace needs a sweep and a general clean up. Trays and food detritus laying around. Food has potential to be great but the guy serving needs to remember the ‘less is more’ rule. Huge wrap with so many different flavours inside, all of which were good but just not at the same time!!! Sweet potato fries need work and reducing in price. Putting lettuce underneath them makes them soggy. Also getting the ‘hot’ food to customers who are waiting would be a bonus. This is such a simple menu that was designed to be quick, simple and tasty food. Sadly for us it did not live up to expectations.

Came in and order over £60 worth of food, 5 kebabs and 1 chicken, paid before we ate. Order was wrong, lad who was behind food the counter was advised that chicken order was missed, this was me by complete disrespected and dismissed us about getting the order wrong. 1 of the staff asked us if we knew who his uncle was as some kind of threat. This was Sunday 10th July at 1800 hours. Worst customer service I have ever experienced

I have two reviews for this place— one for the bar itself which was amazing. Great staff and service, good cocktails and nice ambiance. The other is for Falafel Guys adjoined to the bar for the food which was utterly TERRIBLE. Kinda spoiled the whole experience of the bar as well. £30 worth of food went down the rubbish bin because it was practically inedible. Whatever you do, go to this bar for drinks ONLY. AVOID ordering any food and save yourself the money and horrible experience.

Salt beers are great. Staff really helpful and friendly. Food smells amazing. Think this will be one of my office locals.

Nice Falafel Bar in the corner of the Bar. Friendly service and tasty food. A Vegan Side option would be a recommendation, but other than this a great place for a bite to eat whilst in the bar

Excellent place to relax after a long bike ride to Leeds. Amazing falafel and a beer outside by the canal. The falafel maker was like a cocktail maker but with chickpea based goodies. Yum.

Lovely place. Great vibe and dog friendly. Good range of keg from Salt brewery and a couple of Ossett casks. Fantastic outside area. Just a shame the sun wasn't shining when we visited. We'll be back.

Amazing beer would totally recommend huckaback if you like something fruity/hazy and just bang on nice. Falafel guy’s!!!!! Just amazing to see the guys I got my snacks from when back in the day from a van outside top man to be in a bar still making the best falafel ever. We got a mixed wrap and some wings and they were bang on ! Haven’t worked in Leeds for 3 years and not been into Leeds for since the vid smacked us down ! Was amazing and nothing less !!!!

The first time I visited the music was a bit overbearing but on subsequent visits its been a more chilled experience. Good selection if beers and cocktails in tap, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and pleasant service. Falafel Guys are in there now too and they have a great reputation, I've yet to try their stuff.

Amazing beer! White Rat was superb. Food very average, my kebab wrap was burnt. Disgusting really.

Excellent addition to Granary Wharf. Really great atmosphere and a nice location looking out over the wharf and the boats. The fallafel guys kitchen serves some amazing food. The sweet potatoes chips/crisps with curry sauce were especially nice. Huckaback is the best beer in Britain right now and I'll fight anyone who disagrees. Staff are excellent and thanks to Craig the manager for sorting out an accidental double charge for me personally. Keep up the great work guys and hopefully I'll be back in soon.

Nice to see the Falafel Guys new home in this already decent bar. The food is extremely tasty (The wings are amazing) the food is very fresh and the lads are great hosts. Would defiantly recommend for some food or sit in with a few drinks also

We love Salt beers and you can't go wrong here, all the Salt beers you can want. The guys who work there are really friendly and know their stuff. Excellent location for the train too!
