SALT & Chilli Chinese Takeaway in Glasgow City

Great place for a munchy box. Live up to the name so anything salt & chili/Salt & pepper is great.

Food was absolutely lovely. Beef in the curry was so soft, curry was nice and spicy. Staff absolutely lovely too & so considerate of my allergies. Really good prices.

All fried items were burn and over cooked, could not be chewed never mind eaten. Would never buy from this restaurant again. Waste of £30

Best Chinese we have had! Saray tofu is delicious. Chips are super flavoured. Salt and chilli onion rings are great. 10/10 recommend.

Used to order from here alot until they minimum order price up to £10, then would order something else to take me to that amount so by the time you add all the other fees on top it was nearly £16 and by the time it arrived it was soggy, cold and the bags were falling apart. Now they have stopped delivering to my area competly which isn't far from the shop

My first choice for take away, food has always been spot on and the staff always friendly. Normally delivery is pretty quick.

Salt and chilli hash browns - AMAZING! Who knew?!

Shocking! Ordered through just eat @ 1957. Now I fully understand on a Saturday night takeaways are busy but to wait almost 2hrs is an utter disgrace! I phone at 2123 to be told the driver was out with mine & several other others. 2156 the just eat driver, came to the door. When I asked "where he had been?" He said, "we only get one order at a time." He was so apologetic. I advised this was not down to him but down to the shop. They should not have lied. The food when it arrived was look warn, most of it went in the bin. Should have just put my £30 in the bin. Shocking customer service. Honesty goes a long way.

I recently tried the take away restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food! I particularly enjoyed the satay beef and Salt & pepper squid, which were both cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. But it's not just the food that impressed me - the boss's wife and cashier were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even went above and beyond by asking how many children we were sharing the food with and giving us an extra fortune cookie for them. What's more, when I mentioned that I was looking for a recommendation for a family dinner later that night, they were more than happy to help and suggested some great options. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and friendly service.

Absolutly disgusted ordered mixed chou main and it came without any sauce and was filled with out of date pork smelled it as soon as i opened it absolute disgrace!...

Excellent food at decent prices

Utter shambles. Placed the order on Just Eat at 6.30pm. Still hadn't arrived by 8pm,so I called them. Was told the driver was out with the order. Then received an email from Just Eat saying the driver couldn't find the address. It's now 9.05pm. First and last time I will EVER use this 'takeaway'. Horrific.

Cheat day so i thought lets Try something different, tonights menu was really nice will be back again for the hawaii curry and salt and chill chicken balls. Thanks for a lovely filling meal and still have leftovers . The curry rolls were tasty to 😁 thank you

Ordered a delivery with 2 cans of juice never got the juice so phoned and was told it would go to store credit absolutely shocking a paid for it never got it so should get a redund not good service

Been in here since the new owners took over. Before It was overpriced and not great. I've had lots from here,tonight I had the special chow mein, thin noodles. Extremely well made, not shrimp, big king prawns. Superb. Staff are lovely too....and I got free curry rolls! Never had them before and they were so tasty!

Best Chinese I have been to salt n chilli chips diffrent class all staff amazing n throw in new stuff they haven't changed the menu fae 2017 2018 even when prices and everywhere have bur 2022 they have and u wouldn't even notice a changed in prices like a munchy box 880 the chips alone are worth it haha but aye my best n only Chinese is my one and only then they added the European menu chicken msryland is out this world niver kind there steaks and the steaks is better than any a have tried satay roll curry rolls have chicken in them anaw anyway it needs alot more credit !!

Salt and Chilli Chips are fire 🔥

Meals were good, but nothing spectacular. Looks clean & fresh from the outside. Have had a few meals from here, but nothing really gave me the absolute Wow factor, tried a few in the area & much preferred the one across the road.

Had the special fried rice it was amazing and really tasty gravy to accompany it will definitely use again.

This is such a gorgeous Chinese, the king prawn tempura is so fluffy and light, and the Cashew nut dishes are so tasty, this is now my go to Chinese, n nom nom nom nom 😛

Very good Chinese, partner loves all the meat that they use in all their meals. Salt and Chilli chips are fantastic. Amazing Chinese. Very fast service in both delivery and pick up.

I think that it's not worth buying anything as I find it's quite expensive and the food is not all that nice

We have been coming here for several months now. Food is fab, not and tasty. They gave an extensive menu to choose from. We used our more local Gourmet House for years and changed after receiving cold food which took hours to deliver on several occasions. Delivery here is fast and within half hour even on busy periods.

Best Chinese in area also use lennons the butchers for chicken that's why little bit extra for curry. but defo best in area would never use curry house 3.80 explains alot for chicken curry lol also its a mess outside and inside Would Highly recommended Salt and chilli Robert and family are spot on

Go to Curry House across the street. £3.50 for chicken curry fried rice in the one tray with FREE prawn crackers. As opposed to Salt and chillis price of £5.80 and an extra £2 for prawn crackers. Put and order in for 4 chicken currys and salt and chilli chicken. Portion of chips and prawn crackers £34. Normally order this from curry house and its nearly half the price and food tastes much better too.

Ordered; salt and chilli chow mein, prawn crackers, crispy spring rolls, salt and chilli ribs, beef satay, beef curry, chips and fried rice. Came within 20 mins, staff on phone and delivery staff were lovely and the food was delicious!

Best Chinese - I wouldn't use anywhere else! Quality ingredients, great taste and the service ive experienced is better than any take away I've ever used.

Lovely meal, good customer service and speedy delivery will definitely order from there again, at last someone who does a good sweet and sour.

The food was great and the owner took time to explain the menu and she made good recommendations on choice.
