Cocktails on tap and fantastic craft beers, what more can you ask for?

It such a shame, because it looks like such a nice place from the street. These Paloma (no faith) cocktails we ordered were genuinely undrinkable, with suspect pieces of who-knows-what and some jarred, grey jalapeños floating like debris at the bottom of the glass. Safer with a pint instead!

A genuinely lovely pub, right on the river! We had to wait to be served but I think that's because there was only one waitress (who was LOVELY, just overloaded!) Good selection of beer and ale, and the food looked lovely, although I didn't eat.

I've been here a few times it's a nice cosy bar right next to the river. it's always nice to chill out good choices of beer's and cocktails friendly staff good atmosphere 👍

Absolutely fabulous steak pie with mash and mushy peas. The falafel guys excelled themselves. Wide selection of beers, settled on a 5.5 % IPA which just hit the mark. A real session drink. Very quiet Weds lunch hence the atmosphere score. This is really a place to go and enjoy quality food and beer. Their strapline the purpose of beer is to create pleasure simply resonated our visit.

“We’re not that kind of cocktail bar”. Big cocktail neons everywhere, but unless you want a premix of the usuals (passion fruit martini etc) you’re out of luck. Lots of beers, sadly mostly IPAs. It’s obviously my age. I should stay in. 🥸

Great addition to the Ossett/SALT estate, but a little bit small, Could imagine it'd get very busy

Predominantly selling craft & cocktails but fair play to the 2 draft ciders and 3 left field cask ales on sale. The smell of pies cooking in the kitchen is amazing - can’t wait to try one.

Nice spot, good beer selection. They also do cocktails on tap that are pretty nice. Small outdoor area too that can be a sun trap when the weather is good.

It was quiet on a Sunday evening and the staff were friendly.

The drinks are too expensive but the ambience is good. Overall it should be cheaper for a pint but it’s a decent place for a drink.

Excellent pies and great Staropramen cask lager. Highly recommend!

This used to be my favourite place, the stew and oyster, which has been taken over by Salts brewery and all i can say is wow a perfect example of a pub that's been totally ruined. All the salts pubs have the same look, like it should be in soho, very gaudy and cheap looking. I had a pint of keg beer which was the coldest drink I've ever been served, to the point of no taste, luckily they had a wilde child beer on cask so i left the keg and had a pint of that instead. I won't be going back.

Nice bar, quiet mid week but that's what we wanted. Not our first time & it won't be the last. Bar man was friendly and polite. 👍

Their pi hole fed my pi hole. Happiness ensued.

Well they don't have food there only Pies. It's only good thing is drinks and outside have a nice view, summer time is good to come and spent day there.

Excellent pie, mash and peas with a delicious SALT pint. Top marks.

Cocktails on tap, wonderfull. excellent views of river if you sit outside. Dog loves the pies. And a big red neon sign to sit under.. Oh I do love a big red neon to sit under on chilly nights. Makes me feel all nice and cosy..

Wow, this place is a bit of a secret! I thought I had found all the brewery taps to be had in Leeds until we stumbled on this place. Excellent Salt beers in a sunny riverside beer garden in October.

Super relaxing spot, delicious pies, and friendly staff. Highly recommend a spot facing the river!

Friendly staff, good food (it's pies or pies! But best mushy peas I've ever had). Reasonable beer prices (hey, I'm from the south-east!). Great beer - SALT's own which I like plus a few guests.

Great place good selection of drinks at competitive prices only moan is that it was too cold in there to stay for another drink although i can understand why with energy costs as they are

Nice bar, with a good selection of beers. One to visit again to sample a few more of the local beers on offer!

Lovely bar, cocktails on tap. The pies smelt amazing, but we were moving on for a meal, so we couldn't try them, unfortunately. We will be back, though, as this bar is now a must for us when we are in Leeds.

Nice place by the river. Friendly service. 5 of their own beers on tap. 4 guest kegs and 1 guest tsp. Free WiFi. Not cheap at 2.50 a half on tap.

A great little bar with a very good choice of beers and lagers

Really nice opening night, good music, food was really good. Good selection of drinks. Think this will be the new after work drinks spot.
