Amazing very large pub offering a big variety of rinks

What a place! We just had drinks today with a go on the shuffle board, such an incredible building, very clean, great staff and we got to watch the team hand stretching pizzas!!!! I’d like to come back for a tour of the brewery

This place kind of blew my mind. Firstly the venue is amazing. I couldn't help but look around at all the interesting details from the history of the building and it's more modern usage. The beer choice was fantastic with a great range available not limited to SALTs own brews. Cask, keg and cans available. This in itself would have been enough for a 5 ⭐ review. The food was decent and brought to our table which meant we didn't have to leave. I can't sing the praises of this place enough. If you are nearby get yourself in because it is well worth a visit.

Great venue and a good selection of beers

Friendly staff, lots of different areas. Pizza is good and the selection of beers is good plus parking is available. We went today for an NCT reunion and took our babies/ prams. There is a room on the right with no stairs where you can have table service for food.

One word here AMAZING PLACE for Ales. It’s a really good mix of young and mature people here . Very impressive building split into two. Which used for the old trains. I’ve been here a coupe of times and it’s better every time I come here. Well managed with door staff. You simply can’t sample every beer cider or Ale. It’s a must see when you’re in the area!

I use to love your pizzas but, you've decided to change your menu and remove all the good pizzas from it! Can you please bring back the capricciosa pizza 🍕 The beer and the atmosphere is always amazing 💗

Stumbled on this place on a recent visit to Saltaire. I’ve had the beer before, but wasn’t aware it was brewed here. Great vibe inside, plenty of own brewed beers and some more well known brands. The SALT Jute IPA is sooo nice. We didn’t eat, but the pizzas looked good. Pop in if you’re passing, you won’t regret it.

Nice modern-classic decor, with large open feel. Clean washrooms, great food and good service. Recommend the pizza and a local pint. Bring friends, there is lot's of room and free parking out back. Thete is a nice open picknic area if you smoke or like to sun while relaxing. A must visit if in Saltaire.

Great pizzas! Been a few times now and its becoming a fast fave. The gluten free base is fantastic and above the quality of other restaurants! We'll be back! :-)

Lovely staff, beautiful building, great beer, and (overall) fantastic food. Have to deduct two stars, though, for the utterly bizarre decision to cover an otherwise delicious stonebaked pizza with TINNED MUSHROOMS?! Of all the things to cheap out on this has to be the weirdest and most unpleasant one to choose - I'm sure most people would prefer a sparse covering of actual fresh sliced mushrooms than half a tin of tasteless grey rubber, surely?

A large pub establishment, drinks and decent selection of food. Fairly busy for a Tuesday night, but we went to the pub quiz, which was fun (lots of avid quiz goers there though). Would recommend for a quick bite to eat if you are passing. The fresh pizzas are a highlight.

Brilliant bar, serving salts own kegs, ossett cask ales and fresh tasty pizza. What's not to like about this place ? Definitely worth a visit. 👍👌

Really well presented place great food reasonable priced. Staff are very polite and helpful. My partner said if she had to pick one small fault it would have been that no staff member came around to check that the food was alright, for me I agree however it was perfect and well presented . It took around 20 minutes for the food to come out, but again, freshly cooked and prepared. Drink prices were a little on the expensive side. Single vodka lime and soda and a pint of cider came to £10.50. Will visit again.

Great food especially the pizzas and goats cheese salad. Great local beer too.

The pizzas are superb I ordered the Jamacian Jerk Lamb which was so tasty and fresh. Great beers, service and value for money and a brillant atmosphere.

First visit today. Friendly staff, really nice atmosphere. Food good. Looking forward to going back and playing shuffleboard. Bonus, our dog Pickle is welcome!

Always enjoy a visit to the Salt Beer Factory. Great space, always buzzing and good food and beer.

When I first went in the two people behind the bar were knelt down attending to something on the floor? Not being in a rush I decided to go to the toilet. Came out and waited patiently at the now busy bar to be served. When it should have been my turn to be served, the bartender served someone else. Walked out without purchasing a drink. Toilets are nice though.

Very busy spot, but the service and the food was excellent. Pizza was beautiful as always and nothing left.

One of the most interesting pubs we've visited in a long time, good G&t and gorgeous nachos with chilli beef. Highly recommended

We've always liked the pizzas and the atmosphere here. The reason for the review is the lady (short brown hair and glasses - maybe her name was Caroline..? who was working over the weekend (13th and 14th april). She was smiling warm and welcoming from the start. Nice and talkative and informative. So friendly and treat us like we were the 1st customers of the day (even though she must have been busy as the grand national was on) so she was certainly busy. Great service!

Nice pub with well kept cask BUT all spoilt by outsourced punitive parking company, that even though the car park states 'Parking for customers of SALT Brewery only', they refuse to waive fines even if you can provide evidence of being a paying customer (in this case bank statements for drinks purchased) Understand they don't want their car park abused but it looks like a pub car park so people understandably think they are all good as long as they are buying a drink and/or food The buck stops with the pub - it's their choice to outsource to the company.

Pleasantly surprised "finding" this here. Have drank the beer but didn't know the brewery was so close to where we were visiting. Came for lunch and had amazing pizza

Not worth the predatory and manipulative parking fines for a simple user error with proof We have been loyal and long term customers but after my dad input his car reg incorrectly (as he is not very tech savvy) we have been chased by ParkingEye's predatory fine practices and left with a hefty fine even after submitting photos and bank statements proving we were customers at the exact same time as the parking fine. In their defense they did offer to help however we had already started an appeal due to the predatory language and threat of ridiculous price increases. As such they were unable to cancel the fine after an appeal was submitted. I Really like the area as my family come from the Salts mill town, with my 90 year old grandad who grew up down the road we often take for a meal. We often visit with lots of family and friends but this has left us with a bad experience. Not worth the risk, many other tap houses/restaurants in the area that are probably worth supporting instead. Sad when a company can’t help customers due to an automated and predatory parking fine.

This was my first order with Salt Beer Factory and the order hasn’t even arrived yet but I’m impressed with their communication and correspondence skills. I will make sure to update my review when the items arrive but so far Salt Beer Factory are demonstrating how to perform outstanding customer service.

Went for son in laws 40th. Food was excellent only pizza, chips chicken wings salad etc, but all presented nice pizza base was beautiful. Staff where friendly and helpful

First time in solitaire. Beer factory is large building. Lots of places to sit inside and out. Lots of history. Fascinating to see the brewery. Had a couple of small snacks. And coffee . All good.

First visit to SALT Beer Factory. I was very impressed. Spacious and well appointed environment. Good access to the bar and extremely efficient, friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back.

Attended a private party at SALT and had an amazing night. The staff were knowledgable and helpful. The pizzas were great and the variety of locally brewed drinks were exceptional.

Awful food...didn't eat chicken wings as daughter said they tasted old and as I have just been ill I didn't want food poisoning. All chips were raw so all had to be sent back with the danger they would come back as floor chips. Pants really

Nice atmosphere in a historic building BUT like any big old building, is cold inside. I clocked the barmaids wearing 2 tshirts early on and thought that was a bit odd for someone who should be working flat out... but after an hour I had my beanie on and was sat on my down jacket. Is it too much to knock it up a couple of degrees? Even the dogs have gloves.

We had a SALT beer at Ilkley cinema - never heard of it before, so set off on an expedition , in this horrid weather, for a morning at Salts Mill with lunch at the beer factory. Good Best pizza , really good salad. The beer - fantastic Huck a back Neipa.

We held our wedding reception at SALT recently and had the most amazing experience. Poppy's communication in the lead up was great & the bar staff/ team were fantastic throughout the day & evening. Food was fantastic, beer was great, what more could you need? We couldn't be happier with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to book future events at SALT. Thanks for everything! :)

Went for a walk on the canal & dropped into Salt for a drink, as I was driving I ordered a pint of Pepsi Max it was £3 which is disgusting no wonder people drink & drive. I won’t be bothering again..

Nice pizza in the wood fired oven

Quite a nice lunch should expand more food wise not everyone likes pizza ..which was very nice but would have liked more choice.. Atmosphere was very good as was service nothing to grumble about I definitely would go back but more food choice would make it more of a destination

This was a great restaurant to dine in at, with a vintage design based somewhat around trains! The old tram line and frames create this, the menu is very clear and toilets were clean. I had a very cheesy Margarita pizza and drink, sitting at comfortable seating although the price was expensive for 30 minute wait.

Good range of beers. Pizza bar inside. Sport on TVs. What more could you ask for? Don't forget to fill in your car registration on the terminal at the bar or you'll get a parking fine... ask me how I know...

Really interesting building - great to sit in the taproom and see where the beer is made. As well as a great selection of beers, we had some pizzas that were also really delicious.

The atmosphere and the food are great here! If you're looking for a place to go with the whole family, a group of friends, or work colleagues you'll find everything you need. Absolutely worth a visit!

Food has gone sooooooo far downhill :( used to love this place but they’ve redone the menu clearly to cut costs. They’ve taken loads of good stuff off the menu (no chicken or nduja pizzas anymore) and altered other items to be cheapo versions. The pepperoni looks like it came from the pound shop, the loaded fries have that horrible cheese sauce now instead of cheese, you get less and pay the same if not more. I mean for £13 a pizza I’m sure they could get some quality ingredients. It’s a shame, we came 1-2 times a week in the past and brought all our guests here when visiting, and won’t be eating here again it was so disappointing.

Finally paid a visit over, after trying one of the taps in Leeds. The staff were lovely, and the food was good too. What more need I say about the beer, fantastic.

30 of us celebrated my daughters 18th Birthday, staff very helpful and you can't fault the food and drink had a fantastic time

Having tried their beers in The Hop in York, we had to visit "The Works". Nice building ( old tram shed?), great beer, and superb Pizzas. Coupled with a visit to Salts Mill and a 3 hour walk around Baildon Hill, what more can you ask of a Friday.

Place with vibe, lot of home made beer to choose. This place is spacious with free parking for customers on site and behind the building - register your vehicle on one of the screens at the bar. Food available incl. fresh made pizza.

Overpriced and very salty pizzas. Almost £10 for 2 lagers and £40 for food with extra salt- I know the restaurant is called salt but I thought it was in relation to saltaire, not salty food.

Cool place, but insane trafic outside and They had 4 big signs like this in the bar. We went some place other than this. This is a place for people who loves cars and beer.

Great place to be on a Friday, let alone every other day of the week. Friendly staff, great food, and the beers are pleasantly unique

It was good but unfortunately the bartender spilt some of my drink while pouring it. Also, we were disappointed by the lack of quality and variety of items on the meat and focaccia board (not good value for money).

Enjoyed the evening. Tuesday even had a quiz. Good selection of beers and pizzas, though tight on the toppings and pricey.

Fine their own customers for parking

Used the car park. Got a fine. Appealed with clear evidence (bank statements) but the parking company said "insufficient evidence" but reduced the fine to 20 quid. How kind..... Salt brewery say as I've already appealed there is nothing they can do. Don't risk parking unless you fancy paying a fine. If you do risk it, don't pay cash unless you take all your receipts as proof! I won't be going again

Great choice of beers and drinks. Large outdoor seating area so good for families and groups in fine weather. A little noisy and echoey due to being a large space inside but still a very welcoming atmosphere.

Modern open sleep with a great variety of ales amazing pizza freshly cooked to order in a wood fired pizza oven and dog friendly to boot...ten out of ten all round amazing

Great place outside and in . There is more than enough drinks to choose from and piza is definitely in different league.👌 (100% freshly cooked in real fire) If you fancy to go somewhere for a few drinks and light food then this place definitely won't dissapoin you.

The pizzas (mushroom and a blonde) were really tasty and well made, with a nice thin crust. Takeaway box was provided for left overs. It was a hot sunny day, so sat outside with the dog and glasses of the Jute. One small complaint is that they didn’t have any sparkling water. You also need to remember to enter your license plate at the bar for the parking

Cool space and great beer but sadly the pizza lets it down a bit. It's nice enough but nothing special.

Dog friendly in all places that don't have a carpet (which is most of the pub to be honest) plus they've got a massive beer garden out front. Plenty of Salt Beers and local ales available and the pizzas were absolutley brilliant. Check out the TapRoom in the back, it's pretty Ace :-)
