Excellent service and food for any occasion. We have always ordered catering from here for large events... they have never disappointed. Their meat pilau is so tasty, just like homemade. Everyone enjoyed the food. Very reliable.

If you're looking for the best examples of specific Pakistani foods then Salim's is the place to go. However, it's best to go there at the right time of day when key items are freshly cooked. Generally, from 2pm onwards you will get fresh kebabs, fried fish and various curries. Go there too early or too late then you will likely have foods reheated for you. Only naans are always cooked to order. Not everything is perfect - service is slow at busy times. The biryani is over spiced and lacklustre, pakoras on the dry side and samosas not necessarily the best out there. But staples such as naans, kebabs, fish and many curries are usually superb. Pricing still very reasonable for current times.

Well so I just got my food until when I started eating it tasted plain! THEY FORGOT TO ADD SALT. So what I'm trying to say is that WE need a refund.

Kebabs 100% Fish 100 % rest is cheap and cheerful, but old school classic food here.

One of the best place for a decent kebab roll - £2.50 you can't go wrong top it off with a vegy samosa. - banging under a fiver lol

my family going here for years yesterday i put in order went and sat in the car called them up they said 5 mintues ur food be ready also i asked if the kebabs were fresh went home found out they were old and cold guy literally lied to my face after spedning over 100 quid

Every time you call they tell you to call back later. You call back later and they say the same thing again.

Looks like back home style restaurant but if u put that to one side then the good is 10/10

Food is ok. That’s the only nice thing I can say unfortunately. The restaurant at the back needs updating and toilet lights just flicker on and off. The cutlery and water is counter service. This means you pick it up yourself which is fine but the water is an open jug. Anyone walking by can sneeze or cough, and the buckets holding the cutlery are so dirty inside. There’s no dedicated staff member for the restaurant so you get ignored. Best sticking to getting a takeaway from there.

I’m going to talk about catering service only. I ordered chicken biriyani, was average and the quantity was not what I ordered. The food was not enough and I had to ask my immediate family not to eat as I was worried that the food was not enough. When I called them instead of offering me more food they said don’t worry about it, it is enough. Also the type of rice they used was not of good quality. Very disappointed. The fish was lovely and the lamb curry was ok. The anxiety that was caused with guests in the house was unreal. Will not be ordering for large events from here again.

Halal mode only! Wow the food is next level. Take away fresh fish, some kababs and naan with a few rotis. There is a long que but wel worth it. Very reasonable pricing. Kebabs are very spicy though. If you can handle the heat, check them out. For kids it's too hot. Fish is very good marinated. This is my go to restaurant whenever I visit London

Floor is oily and full slippery

Fish is absolutely brilliant. Must try. Kababs are not bad either. Chicken Tikka was a bit spicy. But overall good food at a very reasonable price.

Really Salim Caterers is very nice restaurant and the guys are really awesome specially the servings lady who wearing Hijab and little bit healty she is so pretty and soo hard working Allah bless him and gave her more strength.. you guys deserve appreciation Good luck for future👏👏

Sitting area is not good and takeaway their packing is not good

The Fried fish and seekh kebab were good. Currys and the rest of the food we ordered was just Ok. No dedicated staff to take orders. Mostly the restaurant was busy to serve takeaway customers.

Very basic! Not alot of selection, you should price yourself on the onion bargis as an Indian restaurant owner! By far the worse I have ever ever ever had! So dry was like eating flower! We won't be ording again!

Ordered food for my new borns Aqiqah. Food for 20+ plus people. Everything was cooked fresh and hot and was ready exactly for collection time. The food was amazing. Everyone complimented on it. Food cost came to less than £10pp and everyone managed to eat kebabs, chicken tikka, samosa, masala fish, chicken biranyi, boneless lamb curry and of course naan. Food fed around 40 people in the end. Will always order from here again.

No frills, grill food and curries. They are known for their amazing low cost prices. Worth a try, not like 5* dining / takeout but does the trick for a cheap quick no frill food

Is a low cost takeaway with a limited menu. Their seekh kebab and fried fish is a bestseller and you are guaranteed fresh food for these two items as the turnover is very high. Food is tasty and very economical, the lines everything we visit are testament to this Have ordered their curry items a couple of times and they are pretty decent as well. But these are kept on trays and not sure how long they are out for. Never had an issue with the food. We have been regular customers of their seekh kebab and fish since we found the place a few months ago

Value for money cheaper than other and good food

Masala fish is amazing .. Its a shane the seating area needa a refurb to make it more appealing otherwise it feels like youve traveled back in time to the 70's

Standards gone down and definitely some new staff in kitchen who is destroying food by putting a lot of spices. Given two chances recently but definitely massive wrong with level of chillies being put. I am astonished how this place has gone down. Will not visit 3rd time now as I called and told the girl who attended the phone but maybe either new management or people do not care.

I ordered and collected Bryani. Bryani tasted nice, Wirth money. Not the best but i liked it. No complain from guest.

They used nibblets chicken to make £200 pilou rice and under catered and food wasn’t enough. I would not recommend this place save yourself the embarrassment on your event and go elsewhere. Not worth the money at all.

Chicken tikka was hard and not fresh and had a funny smell. Returned to them straight away gave me exchange but still messed me up with 1 bite. Always ask when the thing was made don't make same mistake as me

Amazing food, the biryani is the best I’ve had and the naan and fish is amazing. Hearty food made with love and made by some amazing staff.

Went the other day, prices have gone up considerably and there are no visible menus with prices. Portion sizes and quality is still good though.

Service so bad, no manners how to talk to customer, over charges ,and different prices everytime for same curry.

No one bothers to cleanup the tables to make space for customers. We had to move the dirty plates to make space ourselves and they served food on the unwipped dirty table. Loud arguments on stupid issues among staff in front of customers. Fried fish was good and cheap but zero atmosphere.

I walk in .2 people waking out from behind the shop I guess just eaten and 1 try’s to pay for the meal by card witch the card is delcined and they can’t pay for there meal. So because he’s lost money there I’m sure he tried to over charge my kebab rolls . Salad seemed old lettuce in salad was soggy soft not crunchy an fresh as u would imagine it was made today , seemed more like yesterday’s , , start charging and taking payment before people sit down to eat and then can not pay , that person knew what he was doing also ,but silly for u allowing people the eat first people payment , see if he comes back and pays 100% like he was saying

Restaurant is like a homeless place where anyone can do anything..Food is low quality,fish was not fresh,rice was cold,dirty sitting area,toilets were nasty and smelly,no hygiene ,rude staff..Guys if you want ti get sick go.if you love yourself stay away from that place unless they rectify mistakes.

Uncle Salim is an angel in todays world. Whilst everyone increases their prices, he sells Kebab Roll (2 kebabs, salad, sauce and roti/nan) for just £2. He sells 3 Nans/Rotis for £1 and his freshly fried masala fish is to die for. Many a times when I have been waiting for my order to be served, I see so many people coming to buy fish from far flung areas. Best thing about his kebabs is that they are always made fresh - from freshly ground mince - rather than frozen. My personal view on the level of quality lasting for such a long time is personal involvement of Uncle Salim in the kitchen being their head chef - he is a stickler for quality and is happy doing high volume at lower prices. Excellent quality, Super Value and great people!

Their fish used to taste a lot better but yesterday i got fish and was so disappointed. They changed fish type and it didn't had good texture neither the taste. Used to recommend this restaurant to others.
