Sakura Japanese Restaurant in North Somerset

Unbelievable. The food was amazing, service team very attentive. Fabulous meal. We had the edamame beans and ribs to start and it just got better from there.

What an absolutely wonderful l experience, super friendly welcome , not rushed to order , food was some of the best we have experienced fresh on time and the tastesWOW! If you get the opportunity we highly recommend a chair, we will certainly be back.

Visited due to wanting to try Japanese food , it did not disappoint !! Everything we all had was fantastic, flavours , presentation and no waiting between course , a rare find indeed. Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant size quite small but very busy, hardly surprising as yes the food was gorgeous!! Will be going back soon !

Fantastic food, so tasty and well presented. Good portions too. Mango cheesecake, so light to finish. Will be going back soon.

Our 2nd visit. Did not dissappoint. My wife's stuffed mushroom starter recipie was slightly different to last year, but still a clean plate! I had the soft shell crab starter, I don't like "normal" crab, empty plate...Make of that what you will! Mains, my wife had the lamb cutlets. Scary as we're Welsh and like non-Pink lamb. Their lamb is the best ever - you can cook lamb "well done" and moist, Sakura prove it. TV Chefs, go here and try it and call my wife a liar, it was perfect. I had crispy duck Ramen. Epic, the duck was crispy until the last bite of the bowl.

Been a few times and always very good sushi. Great service and a very good meal. Bit of advice book ahead as it's very busy.

JUST GO!! We had the most incredible meal at Sakura. Could not fault a single thing. The food was out of this world. We ordered a range of different starters which were all to die for! We then ordered some mains which again were insanely good. The service was great and all the staff from chefs to front of house were so friendly and attentive. The price is extremely reasonable. We’re so glad we’ve found this restaurant as it’s local to us but I’d recommend booking in advance as it can get very busy at peak times. Will definitely be returning!!! :)

We are frequent visitors and strong supporters of Sakura as the food is always fresh and tasty. However, during our most recent visit (30th Dec 2022, 6pm), to our disappointment, we found that the menu is outdated with changes in pricing, which we were only...

Went to Sakura tonight. It was quite quiet but extremely under staffed. One on service and one in the kitchen. From point of order it took one hour to get my starter, but what was more annoying was that the table next to me got my meal after about 20 minutes from order but were saying that they daren’t complain incase it comes wrong again.How can they get it that wrong??? There were only 4 tables. Food was good after 2 hours waiting but after repeatedly asking for the bill for 40 minutes, I eventually left without paying anything.
