Discasting food, not good service 💀

Excellent place. Beautiful venue with fantastic staff and great food. We had anniversary meal then and could not fault it, all food fresh, delicious and very beautifully served. Great, attentive staff, helpful, even offer taking us some pictures. Highly recommended.We were lucky to take advantage of June offer, so had limitless tapas for half the price - an absolute bargain! Would pay full pruce though as very happy overall.Thank you guys for making our evening that extra special.

Amazing experience and really great food, we did the option where you can order 4 dishes each every 12 minutes for two hours which is a great way to try lots of different dishes. You get to order your food on a tablet on your table which is really good. The service was great. It was fairly quiet while we were there but it was early as we went before a theatre trip and the England game was also on at the time. It's such a lovely different place for bradford so I hope it keeps going.

Great Place in Bradford another hidden gem, only think is that you need to have some IT skills as you have to order everything from a tablet device my only recommendation is that the screen time out should be at least 1 minute where there is no interaction as it was moving to the screen saver in like 5 seconds, so the screen timeout does need to be sorted Apart from the food was amazing and the service, going in the right direction keep it up

Visited this restaurant recently. This was my second visit. I wasn't enthralled the first time, they had a special offer on so thought I'd give it another try. The menu was OK and had changed slightly since my first visit. Considering it's a buffet I feel the menu is quite sparse, not enough variety esp when compared to a popular similar restaurant in Leeds, their menu has so much more, you can't get through it. The food was cooked nicely and presented well. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Would I visit again? Yes, but not in a hurry.

Visited Sakku Samba in Bradford and had a very nice time with my friends. Lovely atmosphere and service was excellent. In particular Rashab Singh and Sheraz provided excellent service, they were kind, accommodating and helped us with all our needs. Very hospitable. Would definitely visit again!

Lovely place, food was great. Bit of feedback around the "rounds" being longer than we were told (15 mins not 10 on the app), and was quite limiting when wanting a smaller round or to order a couple of extra in between dishes.

First time here for a friends birthday, it was recommended by a friend. The decor is inspired by Tattu it’s very beautiful inside & on the outside. Locations not brilliant if you aren’t from Bradford, it’s not easy to find. There is a multi story next to it, again if you aren’t familiar with the area, it’s not easy to get to. It was extremely quiet for a Friday night! I was quite surprised at one point it was only us there !! There was 0 atmosphere. The food was very tasty, but it was ALOT. I didn’t particularly enjoy the dining experience as it was ordering off the iPad I’m old skool ha ha 😝 for me, personally, it was effort ! I cook at home daily, so when I go out, it’s gotta be effortless 🤣 As it was our first time here we didn’t know what to expect. We went for the 5 dishes option for £21 3 of us & 1 3 dish option for £15. Between us we had 18 dishes 🙈 … we soon realised it was a lot. We were told the dishes were ‘small’ but they were a decent size portion. I was extremely disappointed when asked if I could take out leftovers & was told No! I completely understand this policy for ‘all you can eat’ & you rightly have a ‘wastege charge’ for this too, but you contradicted your own policy when I asked twice if I can take out what I already paid for & was told No! Seems You happily ‘threw away’ my money but won’t tolerate it if it’s ‘yours’ !! I find that disrespectful. I’d rather spend my money at places like ‘The Ivy Asia, Bibis Italian, Chaophraya, Blue Sakura, who also do set menus + À la carte, but will happily pack up your PAID left overs. I feel quite strongly about this subject, especially with the situation around the world, also closer to home, children are starving !! Personally, I never waste a grain of food, it either goes to the birds, or I compost it! There was ALOT of food left over & for that reason, I won’t be visiting again.

Today 05/19/2024 There weren't many customers in the restaurant, but there was a very large table with approximately 20 people. I think the restaurant was not prepared to serve so many people at that time. All my orders were delayed, the service was disappointing, very slow, EVERYTHING took a long time to arrive and there were many orders that unfortunately didn't even arrive. The only positive point was the attention given by the manager at the end.

The waitress, šaps was so nice! Really good food, it wasn’t too crowded either!

The ambience is fantastic, even though we went midweek (so quieter than normal). We were greeted by friendly staff, our waiter explained the different menu options and was always near when needed, without rushing us. We ordered five small dishes each including cooked steak, raw fish and vegan dishes. Everything was really tasty (without being salty or cold). We are definitely coming in back in June (with more friends and family) as there was so much to love.

We visited when it was 50% off and have noticed that they have introduced some new menu and price combinations. The food tastes fresh and is incredibly good, particularly compared to a Japanese restaurant with a similar offering that we dined at in Leeds. The dishes are very flavoursome and there's a huge variety to choose from so it's a good idea to come as a group so that you can sample a wide variety without getting too full. That said the food was slow to arrive and we weren't even sure if some of it had arrived but the people serving our table sorted it out. We left very full and will definitely be coming back again. The atmosphere and decor are great too. Recommend.

Sorry but a fail. Good concept and the staff do try and execute it. But, my steak was inedibly stringy; the ceviche seemed to omit lime juice; they forgot to provide soy sauce with the sashimi until i asked for it; and my old-fashioned definitely wasn't - I'm still not sure what they put in it, although just possibly they substituted bitters with soda water. No wonder it was mostly empty on a Friday evening.

Would not come here again, south Asian waiter was extremely rude, no hospitality skills, not helpful, even though when we were polite, but still was extremely disrespectful that we complained about it. The main courses were awful, the lamb steak was chewy, uncooked that no one ate it, the Brazilian chicken with chips had no taste, I’ve had better chicken on an airplane and even the chips were dry, nothing was made fresh for sure. It actually gave us all stomach problems. The only ok dishes were the deep fried starters. Which are not worth the money. The look of the place was the only nice thing about it. If you enjoy bland, microwaved food, then you might like it.

This is a beautiful restaurant that is very reasonably priced considering the high quality of the food. The only downside was that on our visit they lost our order and didn't bring out a lot of our food until prompted almost an hour after we had ordered it - with only a few tables sat, as well. I recommend a visit if you're hungry in Bradford, but be sure to request a server if you find that you've been waiting too long!

I am writing this review after previously visiting the SakkuSamba branch in Manchester as well as Sakku in Leeds. Firstly the food, the first round of meats can out and tasted amazing but as soon as the second round came out there was a drastic drop off in quality. Most of the vegetarian options were lacking the flavour I’ve become accustomed to in the other branches. The tortillas were grainy to the point it felt like I was eating sand. Removing the chicken bao buns and making desert extra takes away some points for me, especially when paying £50. The sushi was good, not amazing. It hates me to say it but the best thing in the menu were the chips, genuinely some of the best fries I’ve ever had but with paying £50 for a dinner I did t want the chips to be the highlight. The staff were very nice and have no complaints about them, very lovely people. The decoration was really good, in fact the best I’ve seen out of the Sakku chains I’ve been to but the atmosphere was really lacking in comparison to the Manchester branch. There was no music and the Manchester branch also had dancers which added to the ambience. In conclusion if you want to pay £50 for some good chips this is the place for you.

Loved the ambiance and the concept of placing order using technology. Except I felt the orders are not received as quickly when placed using the device. Still had to use the traditional method of calling the waiter to ask for things. Prices may look nice but looking at insufficient single serving size, prices are above par.

Everything was good, except the food. Sushi is terrible, the portion of the springroll is bad (2 pieces cut in half) and the fried gyoza was tasteless. Drinks are good.

Honestly the food is mediocre at best, small portions and not particularly flavourful - the edamame beans were the worst I’ve had. The service was okay but very slow when we wanted to pay. Expensive for what it is, I don’t think I’d recommend.

It has taken me way too long to review one of my favourite restaurants. I came here on its opening day! Sakku Samba is a combination of Brazilian and Japanese cuisine. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The perfect setting to enjoy good food and good company.

Lovely restaurant and very kind staff. The food is so tasty and the atmosphere is great too. I also appreciate the birthday message when I got the cheesecake. 🎂 You can order 5 tapas for 21 pounds per person. We were 3 people as a family so there was a range of food to eat between us (depends on if you like sharing some) and you feel satisfied. My 4th time coming here and I'll definitely keep coming. The chicken firecracker is my favourite dish. So tasty and my kind of spicy. 😊 there's an all you can eat option too.

SakkuSamba left a lasting impression on me with its exceptional service and delicious food! It was the ideal spot for celebrating my anniversary, thanks to its cozy and charming ambiance. I savored a delightful mocktail during the evening, although I can't recall its name. The bonus of receiving two complimentary mocktails for our special occasion made the experience even more memorable.

Reserved a birthday celebration for the family and was delighted with the charming decor and inviting atmosphere. The food matched the aesthetic, if not surpassed it, with each dish delivered promptly and bursting with flavor. Even our children, notoriously picky eaters, happily devoured everything on their plates—a remarkable feat! The attentive service from the three gentlemen attending to us added to the enjoyable experience, topped off by a delightful surprise birthday dessert complete with a candle. Highly recommended!

Incredible food and incredible service!! Staff were really welcoming and courteous, attending to all requests. The atmosphere was also beautiful, lovely decor and lighting, and the seating was super comfortable also! The steaks were cooked to perfection and every dish ordered left a lasting impression. Sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and offered some unique takes on traditional sushi which was a welcome change. Also great range of vegetarian and vegan food 😋 Definitely recommend trying the cocktails too! I ordered a flaming zombie and a bubblegum daiquiri and both were incredible 🙌 Will be coming back for sure!

Something different for bradford worth a visit

The food was acceptable but warm dishes were a cold. The herbs such as parsley and spring onion wasn't a fresh. The food is very expensive. For two person we paid more than 150 pounds. The atmosphere is beatiful. In the bathroom is mirror with three types of the light, perfect for selfie. Also fan and strength iron there for correction and drying hair.

Really nice restaurant with competitive prices and amazing service. Make sure that you take what you like to eat, if you want to experiment be ready to have surprise taste.

A cosy and yummy experience in bradford that I was not expecting! Good sushi and good steak... what a combination! A lovely setting inside, with a simple yet effective ordering system using a tablet. It was quiet which added to the cosy feel. Good drink options and warm service too. I shall definitely be coming back!

I went to this place with a friend on new year's eve, It was a very beautiful atmosphere, The food was amazing, It was a weird combination of Brazilian and Japanese but I think it went well. The service however was lacking, place your order on tablets. I believe if a person took your order and looked after you it would have been a 5 star review.

This new restaurant in the centre of Bradford is indeed beautiful & atmospheric, a gem and a refreshing change to the other restaurants in the area. The service was wonderful, the staff are polite and the upstairs restaurant is beautiful. The lower part looks as if it's still being renovated, but don't let that put you off! This place would be amazing for a large group that wanted to try a vast array of different dishes, the all you can eat lunch time is only £34.50 Monday-Friday, the tea time one is more expensive, there are also a la carte options if you'd rather have individual larger dishes. The food was ok, it was good but nothing to go crazy about. If the food/menu had been better I would have given it 5 stars, but I also understand that the restaurant is new and I will be coming back to give it another try. There weren't many kinds of fish sushi wise, or any sashimi, which made it less adventurous in my opinion. I expect sashimi of the usual kinds, (salmon, tuna, ebi shrimp) but also more exquisite sashimi for a high class place, such as eel, surf clam, octopus, squid & markrel. Adding a small sashimi section to the all you can eat (2pc per dish) would make the menu more varied. The seafood stew and the beef spring roll were good, however the taco lacked brightness and was missing a salsa verde or even just coriander. The other dishes were just ok. The toilets are beautiful and clean, with lots of selfie taking opportunities if that's your thing. I was served by the lovely Akib who was very polite, like all the staff are. It is definitely a high class restaurant, and I hope it does really well.

Very good experience, I was taken aback by the stunning decor. The food was excellent and the service was first class. I cannot fault what was an excellent evening at a restaurant that is frankly, too nice to be in a place like Bradford!

Went down yesterday with my brother really enjoyed the food and they also had wonderful service. The food was priced well for the quality of the food we were served. There were some good workers who helped us and provided good service to us throughout our whole experience especially a young man called Aqib who made us feel welcome to the restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, one of the nicest shops I've eaten in. It's a cozy atmosphere with lots of photo corners. The food is varied and delicious. For some dishes the portion is a bit too large. The price is okay A great and unique experience. A guaranteed must.
