Sainsbury's Café in Denbighshire

Shockingly bad. Staff very miserable, only one lady who seemed to have any kind of service skills or customer service. Food was cold, very very slow just to get to the till. Certainly needs massive improvement & maybe the reason for the closure this coming Friday. Also the toilets were disgusting, I've used cleaner at Glastonbury.

Hot chocolate was good, colleagues ham eggs and chips surprisingly underwhelming was 2 eggs chips and 2 slices of boiled ham

Been coning for years and used to be good value with flexibilty on menu. Now...Slow service (repeatedly) on till. Only one member of staff taking orders and making hot drinks. Breakfast came out within 2 mins of ordering but was cold. Unable to swap items on menu... why would a diabetic want to swap the 3 hash browns for beans, or vice versa, on a breakfast. Won't be back. Better local cafes to give my money to

Oh my goodness ! The dressing on the salad is divine! Absolutely fantastic food , lite bite jacket potato fantastic price . Highly recommended .

We called in for breakfast . .not good . Coffee was lukewarm . Toast was barely shown the toaster . All of it was cold , the bacon was hard and the sausage tasteless . Won't be going back in a hurry

I had a all day breakfast that looked good, but when I started eating the egg it was Cold, So that means that the chef or cook doesn't cook a fresh egg to order, so my egg Must of been standing somewhere for it to go cold, I love to cook and yes some things that make up a breakfast you have to put in or on a Hotplate, it takes 5 minutes to fry an egg, So come on as Gordon would say you can do better than that. I had the all day breakfast today and the only fresh item on my plate was the fried egg. Bacon was dreadful, sausages were white and tasted awful, toast beans mushroom and tomato was obviously prepared some time before and were lukewarm so not a good experience - complete waste if money and a little treat for me on my own was ruined!!!

The cook obviously doesn't understand sainsburys "taste the difference" dishing out over cooked hard bacon and hash browns. When sending back to ask for freshly cooked the cook comes out giving evil looks. The cook obviously doesn't understand quality control of what she is serving up to paying customers who expect fresh breakfasts. The also took off the menu jacket potato coronation chicken meal which is a shame. They also run out of food items when they are based in their own sainsburys supermarket and won't go above and beyond for their customers to make sure they have or get those items in. Tables and seating needs to be cleaned regularly.

Had to charge my EV, so I decided to pop in and have some tea and breakfast. I only had toast, but I was not disappointed. Staff friendly, place was clean and tidy. Served very quickly, too.

Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes from ordering the breakfast till it actually arrived, my cup of tea went cold. The food arrived minus my bacon the toast was still white bread buttered. My wife left hers, untouched.

Disappointed no breakfast been cooked only sandwiches do to bainmarie braking down

Always great food at very competitive price. Staff are friendly and very efficient, never have to wait long for food. Be Recommend.

Visit the cafe most days as it's a great place for my lunch break. Staff are always nice and they make a banging sausage bap :)

Disappointed as we went back for croissants because last time they were delicious cut in half and grilled but this time they said they only microwave and they were soggy and horrible, seemed too much bother even though it was quiet

Go sainsburys for a coffee and a meal or a snack but I'm not buying a coffee unless you bring back the cream

Long wait in queue, apparently no longer sell the dish I ordered even though it was still on the menu then it took about 20 minutes for them to toast the replacement toastie that was ordered. Disappointing.

Enjoyed the food here. Very clean and prompt staff 🙂

So slow and staff standing around doing absolutely nothing while one person takeing orders to a que of atleast 8 people.

Been with friends a few times. Service is good and so is the food. Will be back!

Better going to morisons cafe (Better staff)

Always a pleasure to visit there.

Staff do a very good job. Though you may have quite a wait at busy times. Sometimes they have run out of one or two items on the menu. Apart from the wait they would have had five stars. The food is good and a reasonable price.

Enjoyed a little trip to the cafe for breakfast

We waited in cue for 30 min before being able to place an order , staff were run of their feet , only 1 taking orders and providing coffee. Not the best experience but could not blame the young lady she certainly needed help.

Service fairly fast today but the chips served were cold. When this has happened in the past, staff have just heated up the chips instead of bringing fresh, hot ones.

Terrible food and most of the menu wasn't available. Dirty tables and a long queue with only 1 person on the till as well as doing the coffee. Won't be returning any time soon.

Food is good and fresh. With nice coffee available. A good variety on offer and reasonably priced. Very helpful staff with good room for disabled people to sit down.

Pretty good. Food decent and reasonably priced. Filter coffee better value than Americano and not much difference. Staff pleasant and helpful. Queuing better than local Tesco and vastly better than Asda.

This cafe has Lot's to offer and the staff were really helpful

Food quality and service have gone downhill in my opinion. The omolete was dry so changed for another meal and the coffees would be brought to the table but that never happened. Table was dirty so we asked for it to be cleaned. Hope they get the quality back.

We had fish and chips.. excellent cooked well and plenty of food.. First time will certainly be going again.

Had a pannie never again!!! Cooked then forgotten reheated in a microwave. Plate hot food only warm.

The food was not worth the 30 minutes we waited. We had finished our drinks by the time the food arrived, They did give us a free drink to make up for it, The staff we're pleasant enough, if there is an Asda near by try that.

As per normal it has sold out of most things that we wanted. Oh well off to the prom again

I love the Sainsburies cafe In Rhyl. The toasted Tea Cakes are amazing. They the best ever. The downside is you can't buy them in store as they have them brought in. The latte is lovely as well.

Cold coffe, no option to change between mash and chips, slow service cold food. Staff were lovley tho

Why is one of the booths out of operation, and the place needs a good tidy up. Food was excellent as usual.

Friendly staff, very good range of breakfasts cooked to excellent standard. Quick service. Very good value.

Called for a latte but not very hot, for £2:15 should be better.

So short of staff we qeued for 20 minutes to just order food. Food was very good.

Cheap great food ...lovely staff

I was surprised at their coffee ( cappuccino ) it was excellent, dare I say better than Costa - yes it was. The meals were pleasant too, Chicken and Mushroom pie with peas and mash. I had the Thai green curry , both were much appreciated.

No coffee in machine hence no latte ! Who is in charge of stock control? Its not even a buisy day. Very disapointed.

Excellent service staff and food

The food was excellent. Returned for veggie lasagne but it was sold out. A little confused that the Bigger breakfast is only sold after 11.30

My husband and I shopped regularly in Sainsbury's and enjoyed a meal in the restaurant before past away last year but I still come when one of my family can bring me the staff are so polite+helpful and go out of their way to help thank you sainsbury's I give it top marks. XXXXXX

Very good beef baguette with pot of gravy. Lovely & inexpensive. .

We had a breakfast the meal was OK except the bacon was under cooked and we had to ask to get the table wiped due to under staffing I suppose !!

Very bad experience today,staff in cafe very condescending,horrible attitude and food,after nearly 5 years of using this cafeteria i shall not be returning again.

The food was lovely. The staff are very polite and chatty. It was busy, but despite the wait for the meal it was worth it. I would recommend eating here.

Stopped for a tea and cake for Sainsbury the price was very good. Staff friendly

A good place to go and have an inexpensive meals

My mum and I come every Friday for lunch and have never had a bad meal. Staff and service excellent.
