Pizza Hut Restaurants in Denbighshire

Where do I start? This was a pre booked meal for my sons 7th birthday to celebrate with his friends and family, we offered him a children’s party which he turned down because all he wanted to do was come to Pizza Hut. When booking I originally booked for 8 people, however, I called up days before to amend the booking to 12 people, I was told “no problem” despite them taking my booking details, I then received an email through to confirm my booking was for 8 people however in the notes it did say “now 12 people” so I thought nothing of it. When we arrived they took us to a table that seats 6, and the guy said “don’t worry I know your booking is for more” so I watched him add one table and two chairs on the end, I explained I amended the booking and received confirmation for it to be for 12, he looked shocked and went to grab someone, they then moved us into the centre of the restaurant where half were on the loungers meaning all the tables curves with huge gaps in, again, no biggy really. When first walking in we noticed there was a little notice on the wait to be seated table stating they have limited stock due to a change in suppliers and they had no A/C nor heating, so this put a downer on our experience because you didn’t even have sugar for a cup of tea!! the chicken supreme/ goat, normal supreme and loads of other pizzas unavailable, all of us struggled to order online, I spent 30 mins trying to help the table as everyone was ordering and paying separate, only to then have your ordering system freeze, so I had to hunt down one of your few staff to ask can they just take our order with pen and paper which they kindly did. The food came in dribs and drabs, despite them knowing we are all seated together, I’m not completely in reasonable I understand to get 12 people’s food out all at the same time is a challenge especially as there was about 2 or 3 other tables in, however, I don’t expect half my order to come out and not the birthday boys to come out for another 15 mins after! Even then his chips didn’t appear along with our sides (onion rings, halloumi fries, chicken bites) to the point where we had eaten all our mains, I did see some onion rings on the side thinking maybe they will bring them, however after waiting I went over and within 5 mins all our sides came besides the chicken bites, as an apology they gave us extra halloumi fries, which were freezing cold, along with the onion rings and the chips, one of the family members who had ordered first, never received their pizza because your staff gave it out to a take out customer! So by the time he received his order it had to go in a take out box because we were leaving! I ordered a cappuccino because your restaurant was colder than outside to try and warm up, waited 30 minutes for it to arrive FREEZING COLD! So we gave it back and said don’t bother making another one because at this point we were all fed up! The worst part, is we probably would have all laughed all of this off, however your restaurant is freezing, how can you be open to kids when it’s that cold? If you had made me aware at the point of booking or when I called to amend my booking that you had limited stock AND no heating, then I would have booked else where. You knew you had a big booking come in and did zero preparation for it from start to finish. The Rhyl Pizza Hut is always quiet and now I know why, you’ve had the best part of £300 from us tonight, and in return we expected to all eat at the same time instead of it taking 2 hours for everyone to of had mains. What a disappointing experience that was for my son’s 7th birthday, your food isn’t exactly reasonably priced so would expect a slightly better service, if I’m honest, it seemed like your staff prioritised the take away side of the restaurant. We will never be returning and I would expect a telephone conversation to follow from this review as this was a terrible experience. We have been home 30 mins since leaving your restaurant and I still can’t feel my feet.

Driver gave every excuse under the sun as to why the food was late. Said it had been ready 40 mins but she wouldn’t let him take it. Food absolutely stone cold. Was delivering to wrong house also. A very very bad start to New Years Eve

Food time kept changing and the order turned up cold and missing items

Only came here while I was waiting for my car to charge and didn’t expect to be in there so long. Took me 4 attempts just to access the WiFi after the first few attempts just stated ‘No WiFi Connection’ I eventually switched my phone off and back on again and it seemed to work fine after that. I honestly don’t understand why these places are so insistent on ordering through your phone when half the time you struggle to get connection! Considering it was just me, I didn’t expect to wait just over 30 minutes after ordering 2 sides and dips and the place wasn’t that busy either. Putting all that aside, everything else was fine.

We took the Grandsons for a Christmas treat. Not our choice of eatery but they loved the help yourself ice-cream and drinks.

Forced to use the app which is confusing and badly designed and different options to what's on the paper menu, to get to the app you need to sign into their WiFi which is stressful and constantly asking to send you emails, trying to control 3 children and sort everyone's food out on the phone is stressful and inconvenient.

Driver argued with me about my home address! Told me I needed to get a number on my home address - the house was built in 1870 with the same name. Driver couldn't understand the address: we live in Wales, so a Welsh name. Is that no longer acceptable

Good pizza, friendly helpful staff. Always worth a visit.

We had to wait a little bit for a table weken entering. After the explanation that we could order with our phone, we did order fast because we were hungry. Paid with Google Pay, how efficiënt. After 15 minutes or drinks arrived. Unfortunately not Knifes and forks, so our salad stayed untouched. After 30 minutes i enquired if our pizzas and Fries were about to arrive. Sorry sir, the waiting time is 30 minutes. Well, that is good, because now we are very hungry and the kids are very restless. After 45 minutes there is no sign that they have even begun to cook our meals. Meanwhile the take away meals go over the counter fast. I ask for a refund, longingly looking at the supermarket across the parking. Give us your email sir, and the refund should be in your account in a couple of days. Never again any pizza hut for us.

Haven’t been to Pizza Hut in years as there aren’t any restaurants local to me. If I’m ever in the area again would definitely return!

The cheeseboard pizza was really greasy, but with that amount of cheese I'm not surprised. Cheese triangles arrived cold. Alright food

Pizza's were really nice but the buffet only had one pizza at a time and was not very varied, when staff were asked they said they didn't know what to put out

absolutely awful,staff were rude and very unprofessional,food was disappointing and didn’t taste nice and didn’t look appealing i tried to get a member of staff’s attention to complain and they were all to busy stood together talking, my pizza was cold and chewy , as soon as i left the restaurant i was sick because the food upset not belly that much, spent £43 and definitely not worth it,the toilets aren’t cleaned they smelt awful and have a flicking light,the whole place was just not clean , the salad bar looked dirty and everything looked sad and seen better days won’t ever be returning.

Pizzas were both cold Barely any sauce or cheese on the pizza,new pizza bases are copying dominos and their bases are the only reason I do t get dominos

Excellent pizza and great salad bar. But hate the in restaurant app ordering it is so much quicker direct with waiter or waitress. Still best pizza though. Update August 2023 still great pizza , lovely Fresh salad in the salad bar , bottomless drinks . Dont mind it all being cashless now in Pizza Hut but still hate the painfully slow app when your starving it takes so long to put your order through on the app it would be so much quicker with the helpful cheerful staff so why we are pushed to use the app I don't know. The cashless bit doesn't bother me as I always pay by card anyway, it's just the app?!? Still the amazing pizza and sides and fresh salad is great. Kids and some adults enjoy the ice cream factory. Loads of free parking right outside front door . Update Oct 24.... Still great pizza with some new menu additions and recipe upgrades. App still painfully slow and clunky to use if the WiFi is working!

Me and my partner went out on our first time out in a while and had an enjoyable time. The food was good and the staff were great, very attentive to detail. As we are disabled adults we chose a time which would be quiet and not too overwhelming. During our meal we had this rude middle aged couple seated in the booth next to us, we minded own business but they kept glaring at us and whispering making us feel uncomfortable. My partner noticed it more and made them more anxious. We didn't file a complaint about them as we ignored them and tried to enjoy our meal, but upon us leaving my partner overheard them talking to the staff about us complaining about us talking loudly, and requested that we were to be removed from the restaurant, this upset us further as we were talking and mind our own business not causing them any reason for an issue, due to our needs we understand that our voice volumes cannot controlled, this tarnished our visit which is why we rated atmosphere as a lower score. Other than bad customers the service was quick and polite, and the staff member was very quick to respond and helped when I accidentally spilt my drink, it's the little things like that makes all customers feel comfortable and valued, I am so glad I left a little tip for the staff when I payed.

Cheese wasnt even done and it was just plopped in the middle :/..barely any chicken bites. Not worth the money. Wont be coning again sadly

Delivery Cold on Delivery as seems to be a drop off before us. Long long way away. Chicken pieces were tiny. 6 minute pieces of chicken and no sauce as ordered. Pizza was like leather. Paid for extra cheese and chest bites crust. So disappointed

Food was good and staff helpful. However, you have to order online, which makes it more like a takeaway rather than a restaurant.

Everything went well, drinks came to us very quick and when I needed more tap water, the waiter did it straight away for me, buffet and salad bar was always well topped up and maintained, the pizza cooker for the buffet also made a specific one that my husband asked for that I could eat, there's only a small selection I can eat

Ordered a deal for two, and the pizza tasted like cardboard, stiff pizza and the cheesy bites were small, dry and had barely any cheese in them. The garlic bread was dry and barely garlicky. They used to make nice food but they evidently dropped off.

Pretty sub standard and underwhelming. I saw this restaurant on the way to a weeks stay in the area and wound myself up for a visit on the weekend. £72 for 2 adults and 2 children and this was with a 25% discount code. We had: 3 x medium pizzas, 2 sides and a child's deal along with 2 for £9 on the bottled beer deal, so not really a great deal of food. You have to order through the QR code on the table, good luck if the WiFi works. Standard of pizza hut salad has sadly declined in recent years. You think you are getting a right steal when you get a free salad, when in theory it's poor. I now know why I stopped eating here years ago.

We'd planned a lovely meal at a local restaurant but unfortunately this didn't work out to plan. Sadly, our party was tired of sitting and waiting around, So, pizza hut, you came to our rescue! Friendly staff, super helpful and quick service and enough tasty hot pizza to feed 15 hungry adults and children. You're our heros!!

1 star as can’t give zero! Went to the Rhyl branch with family, was advised its card payment only & we need to scan and order off our phones. WiFi didn’t work, no phone signal inside, asked the waitress three times if she could just take the order for us as we were ready to order. The answer was “no it should work in a minute” 25 mins went past and between 3 phones it still wouldn’t work. At this point we got up and went to leave - only then did said waitress say she would take our order!!! Seriously … the last 25 mins she was unable to take it but no it was ok? Needless to say we declined & went elsewhere. Definitely won’t be back!

Ordering with an App? No thanks! Came here at the end of a long day exploring the area looking for a tasty family meal. There are some pros – the unlimited salad bar was a great treat of which we made a good use. The mains we enjoyed too, and they didn’t take too long to arrive which was a real plus. The staff seemed friendly enough - what limited interaction we had with them that is. However, the necessity to order and pay via an app on a phone – yuck - really slashes the score on this one. That the app asked us to give a tip when we’ve had no food (yet) and after virtually no interaction with the staff was a big error. Guess Pizza Hut skews younger now, and doesn’t want the patronage of a more mature customer! This overall experience, along with the considerably high prices and relatively small portion sizes means I probably wouldn't be coming here again unless I was really pushed.

I do not usually give negative reviews, but I was very disappointed in this place food and service. Salad items is off...I could not eat cucumber because it was slimy. One of the pasta has finished before I came I'm and the staff kept saying new one will come but that never happened. I was totally ignored! s I just paid, tasted the salad and left the place. The waitrose did not acknowledged that there was no pasta even though I paid for it in advance as part of the buffett.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Absolutely no problem getting vegan, veggie and nut-free food Great atmosphere, easy parking. Accessed on the flat from the car park, the fully equipped disabled toilet is also accessed on the flat. We went in a large family group, had a lovely time and will continue to visit Pizza Hut.

Went as a family for the buffet they don’t seem to put hardly any cheese or toppings on the pizzas and dry uninspiring for the price as it’s the Buffet price very poor representation compared to other pizza huts no wonder it was empty in there on a bank holiday as well !! Toilets stunk of urine not clean they need refurbishing 💯 card payments only staff to busy on there personal phones not enjoyable dissapointing to say the least waste of money should of went to Chester branch far far better

Having a strong fondness and childhood memories of visiting Pizza Hut, me and my partner tried the unlimited buffet on Sunday as a special treat. Sadly we were very underwhelmed and disappointed. There were very limited vegetarian pizza choices and all the pizzas were dry and looked like they had been sat out for hours. Thankfully the staff made a couple of fresh pizzas, however these were just more of the same and not unlimited flavours from the actual menu (my partner was hoping to try the Beyond Meat pizzas and I was hoping for a meat feast, but neither were offered). Sadly we wont be returning again

The website only caused me problems with me having to put my detail in 5times with consistent errors!! I gave up so i decided to phone the restaurant to place my order over the phone with calling numerous times with no replies,very poor service.I won’t be coming back I wouldn’t recommended this anyone who values service!

It wasn’t great to see the staff helping themselves to the buffet straight off the hot plates with their hands without gloves on, then licking their fingers and continuing with their duties without washing their hands. Put me off seeing this unfortunately.

Everything is on app even saying you want buffet. Pizza not varied in the buffet just a few which was restricting but you get what you pay for and it's easy with kids

Needs more staff only 2 on for serving... Don't like using the app. That's the whole point of going out is to put your phones away. Also it's quite expensive..

My dinner here was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was great, the food was pretty good, and I always love a good salad buffet. It was easy to find and a little small in the amount of tables so if you are thinking about it I would book just to make sure you get a table. And most of all it wasn't expensive either, for just a pizza looking around £15-16

The pizza gets took quick so don't expect to be eating a full pizza, apart from that, great, ice cream making area, comfy seats.

Shown to seat, was told to order everything and pay through the app, App was a joke to use, it kept adding extra item to your order without asking, so be careful to check through your order! no customer service, food took forever to come to the table. Also App asks for a tip, but for what I don't understand as staff did nothing but bring the food over once it was cooked. Don't think we will be going again!

Great service, but like all pizza huts it is very expensive for what you get.

We stopped in at the same time as everyone else who was leaving the airshow. We phoned up in advance to book a table for 5, which was no problem at all. Then, when we arrived at a chaotic scene as everyone was descending on the restaurant, we were glad to find that they had still held our table for us. The manager and two waitresses were incredible, and all three worked as a team to make sure that everything ran as seamlessly as possible. They did incredibly well when the odds were stacked against them. The food was perfect, regardless of the pressure the chef must have been under. I'd definitely visit this pizza hut again, but hopefully it will be on a quieter day next time.

Could have been anywhere in the country, not bad really but restaurant layout could do with work to keep the flow of people running better (certainly compared to other branches). Staff friendly enough but now it's all ordered on app you don't really speak to them much. Must be a pretty unrewarding job for them.

I would have got more toppings from a Asda pizza ( will get from Asda now on ) even a Iceland pizza has more, but it's a good place to spend your money on nothing or if your on a diet.

Food was lovely except the soggy chicken strips. And the waitress was more interested in talking to her friends on the next table than serving us 🤣 But the food made up for the service. I had the new bbq chicken melt was delicious and my daughter had the spaghetti bolgnese. 2/3 meals great!

Took grandson there as he loves pizza hut and we don't have one now staff lovely and service great they loved the big share happy days.

Used to be very good many years ago but now gone very poor. Pizza I had a very dry base and what's more they want you to order online to order your food. I'm sorry but I dont work here to do your job!
