Friendly welcoming staff, excellent food, nice atmosphere. Was really made to feel welcome on my (tiny) mobility scooter, they immediately whisked a chair away to make a parking space for me, very welcoming.

The menu has a wide choice and tells you if the dish contains gluten, nuts etc. So it's suitable for special dietary requirements. Lots of veggie options. Food was delicious and you get big portions.

Very good and decently priced food. The Pho (as with all Vietnamese restaurants) is their speciality and you get a good bowl. I think it may be real Pho (long boiled with bones)

An intimate restaurant with happy helpful staff and a large variety of starters and mains and drinks. The food is wonderful and portions are a good size. We will definitely return.

22 of us arrived for my Aunt's Birthday. Considering the amount of us and the venue was full to capacity the service/food was brilliant. Seen many venues struggle on service with high volume but not this place. Delivered excellent food and service. Would happily revisit. Photo was at the end of night.

Food is nice and the portions are massive. You can get better Chinese/Vietnamese elsewhere in sheffield but the staff are lovely

Cute looking little place. Extensive gluten-free menu. Happy and confident they deal seriously with the need for gluten-free food. Most of the food was lovely, but the noodles were a bit plain, but that's par for the course with some gluten-free dishes, and we didn't use the sauce so that might be on us. Will definitely be going back.

Really disappointing. I had high expectations of this place as there are so many good reviews. The staff were far too busy to meet everyone's needs. I ordered white wine and they brought me red wine. The spring rolls had hardly any meat in it. The mains were flavourless. I'm hoping that it was just a one off that the service and food was terrible that evening.

I ordered Chinese style stir fried noodles with prawns. It had hardly any vegetables even the picture of the dish I looked at promisses a lot of them. It was expensive and not tasty. My first and last order in this place.

I ordered the rice paper rolls and on the order notes I said no mint as I'm allergic and they didn't listen, instead they added loads of mint and sprinkled it on top out of spite, the fried rice also had zero flavour, never ordering from here again

Welcomed on arrival, seated immediately, offered water to drink while looking at the food and drinks menu. Service and food outstanding. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the staff were attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite and minute of our evening in this fabulous place 😀

Great place great food but on this occasion it was rather empty still enjoyed with the family.

After visiting this place for about 20 times I just gave up. Ordered Pho Bo Tai - Soup with flat noodles and rare beef. Got pressure cooked beef which I hate. When I asked to resolve the issue being told it’s a rare beef. Ffs just kill me. Sent it back to kitchen.

Food is great and great value, atmosphere is very relaxing and informal. The only down side is that they do not ask you if you want ice in your soft drink, they just put it in. Also you have to ask for cutlery, as you are only provided with one napkins and one pair of chopsticks.

The food is amazing, prepared fresh, really quick and portions are huge, especially the malaysian soup I had. It was huge bowl, definitely for more than one to share. Pricewise it is also very good deal considering the food quality and quantity. Definitely worth coming here. The interior is simple, though, but who cares when the food is that good!

We didn’t come to Sheffield for food, we came to see a band at a local venue, which we loved. However, the highlight of our few days here was the wonderful food we’ve just eaten at this restaurant, for a very fair price. The additional bonus was the lovely people that work here! Strongly recommend Saigon68 to visitors, but would like to remind local people just how lucky they are to have this beautiful place in their midst.

The food here was really excellent, so so tasty. Would definitely come back here. Decent price as well. The food was incredibly quick, was very surprising how fast it was but it all arrived very hot and cooked well! The staff were also lovely. We went out as a family for a birthday meal.The food portions were good and all of our choice were tasty. The service was very quick and food piping hot. We do eat out frequently as a family and must say we were all very impressed with the quality of the food.

Ordered from here after hearing good things, but I was a little bit disappointed. I ordered the Kung Po vegetarian chicken. The veggie chicken was seitan, but usually places will season this or make is special whereas here it just seems to have been chucked into the sauce. Way too many onions too but this is quite common with lots of takeouts. The sauce was also extremely sweet. It mostly tasted like honey so I couldn't finish it as it made me feel a bit sick. It didn't come with rice either which I feel should be clarified on the Just Eat menu.

Superb food and really attentive, lovely staff.

We were overcharged on the night – it was a simple communication error, nobody's fault, and we went in the following day and Jason (lovely guy) sorted it right out for us. Turns out they'd already caught the error when they were counting the till at the end of the night. Thanks, Jason!

Such great food with a nice atmosphere, portions are quite large! So good value for money

Greasy noodles and couldn't eat any of beef as it was pure fat. The chicken starter was dry and chewy but the ribs were ok. The two courses were only 18 quid at least.

😍Vietnamese Food on London Road 🌶️ORDERED: *BBQ Chicken *Beef with garlic and chilli sauce *Egg fried rice *Jasmine tea 🥢Very friendly and quick service 🥢 We liked both dishes and the portions were a decent size 🥢 A bit disappointed with the dessert menu because the only thing that looked homemade was the banana fritters. 🥢 Free prawn crackers and the tea was £1 💚They have many pho dishes available, vegetarian and gluten free options, along with Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes. We did struggle a bit with so many options 😂 We might need a whole year to try their entire menu!

Lovely food, well worth a visit.

Have waited nearly 2 hrs for a 3 item takeaway, for which they charged £4 delivery. Will find another Chinese takeaway nxt time 😡 ps am still waiting for it!

Fast nutritional delicious food as always can't fault.

I had roasted duck and pork (char siu) with rice. The skin of the duck was very crispy and tasty so was the char siu. Members of staff were friendly and polite. Good services.

Really bad experience food really bland and on top of that one of us a vegetarian and one of us a vegan we were served a curry with chicken in it. Really annoying as we told them as soon as we entered the restaurant. This really put us off and we will not be returning.

Did a takeaway order. Chicken noodle soup and salt and pepper squid. Salt and pepper squid were average, good mix of diced veg and chilli. Little wet and anaemic in colour but delivery is a poor reflection of what is available in house. My main issue is with the chicken soup. Tasted worryingly like supermarket bought chicken gravy, had the same corn flour texture, not really that of soup/reduced broth. No oil layer no signs of a process to production. It had 3 thin strips of chicken breast and minimal veg, no spice and other than chicken gravy, little flavour Would not order this dish again and would be unlikely to order from this place again given what was delivered.

Walked in and instantly got greeted and shown to a table, also got complementary prawn crackers as soon as we sat down. The service was so attentive. As well as this, the food came super quickly without losing any of its freshness and was absolutely delicious and huge portions. We probably could have shared one dish between two and been full. Service was lovely (however I should specify there was only 1 other table there at the time). Food was of okay to decent quality but not flavor, nor was it prepared in the Vietnamese style. I grew up eating Vietnamese food prepared by ppl born in Vietnam (and 1st gen immigrants). this was by far the worst "Vietnamese" I've had in my 40 years (tho I've only tried it about 6 times in UK since it always lets me down). The menu was mostly Chinese (Cantonese for the most part) and some Thai, which was a huge red alarm. I chose a few Vietnamese items and 1 Cantonese. Out of 5 dishes, only one was okay (pan fried dumplings), but still didn't have authentic flavor. The spring rolls seemed to be from frozen and were the 2nd worst I've had in my entire life, zero flavor (my white british friend who prefers unseasoned chicken and potatoes liked this place, which says it all). The banh xeo was horrible, I couldn't stomach more than 1 bite. The pancake wasn't crispy, the shrimp wasn't seasoned, and it had watery veggies and zero flavor. The "chargrilled" beef was in fact, not chargrilled, nor was it properly seasoned. And what seasoning anything DID have, wasn't Vietnamese (North or South). The nuoc cham was mostly water. And everything was quite greasy. The employees were Chinese and I'm suspecting there aren't any actual Vietnamese folks working here. I'm sad at tall the raving reviews. If British folks think this is what Vietnamese is, it breaks my heart. I hate having to give bad reviews, but I'm so homesick for real, authentic food. Why can't the UK do Vietnamese or Mexican?! Is it because the locals will hate it? Is it because there's next to no Vietnamese or Mexican people here here?! I think this place should change their name, it's incredibly misleading. If you know what actual Vietnamese cuisine is, AVOID at all costs. If you like bland, under-seasoned, oily, anglo- Cantonese, you may like it. And again the service was great. But I am beyond disappointed myself.

Massive menu, lots of vegetarian choices. I've been here many times with lots of different people and none of us have had anything but great experiences.

After remortgaging the house to pay for the cost of the takeaway food I was excited to try £5.50 egg fried rice! Ordered the prawn rice paper rolls which was packed to the brim of mint and coriander I physically had to spit it out. The roasted pork must of been cooked under a candle as it was just pure fat, completely inedible! Straight in the bin. The £5.50 ‘fried rice’ was actually just boiled rice. Ordered the crispy duck and received 3 strings of spring onion to go with it. Absolutely disgusting food, £33 down the drain and nothing to eat for dinner. AVOID!
