Sahara Lounge in Manchester

My experience at this place was extremely poor. One of the staff members behaved in a very disrespectful and aggressive manner, even showing signs of racism. He tried to manipulate the bill and overcharge me without any justification. When I confronted him, he became angry and attempted to start a confrontation. The service was terrible, the food was below standard, and the overall attitude was clearly exploitative. Frankly, this place was the definition of bad service and dishonesty. I strongly advise against visiting it.

We were charged £8.00 even though the total for our items should have been £7.50. When we asked why, they simply said it was a system issue and that there was nothing they could do — instead, they pressured us to pay and were quite intimidating about it. Absolutely unacceptable. There were only two dessert options available, and when we had no choice but to order something else, they didn’t even bother to apologize. We will never go back. The staff maintained a very rude and unprofessional attitude throughout.

I came here to watch a football match, expecting a relaxed café and shisha lounge atmosphere. The place wasn't busy, and I don’t smoke, so I didn't order shisha. Instead, I ordered 2 Red Bulls and 2 banana Nutella waffles — just to have something while watching the match. First issue: we received the wrong order — 2 Red Bulls and 2 banana milkshakes instead of waffles. When I mentioned it, the staff said they don’t actually serve waffles, even though it’s on the menu. That was surprising and disappointing. I said we didn’t want the milkshakes, but they insisted we take them because we were sitting there without ordering shisha. I explained that’s why I ordered food and drinks in the first place — to respect their business. Eventually, I agreed to change the order to cakes, which were poor quality, possibly even expired, and honestly inedible. I kept them just to stay and watch the match. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, the listed prices were £5 for the cake and £2.5 for the Red Bull, but they tried to charge me £8. After an argument, they claimed the prices in the system were different from those on the menu. Eventually, I paid £7 after going back and forth with them. Unprofessional staff, misleading menu, poor-quality food, and shady pricing tactics. I do not recommend this place at all.

Came day after new years, staff were nice, decent prices. The place was really cold though. But the shisha was good

Perfect for the evening 😻 staff is really capable and professional, before you order your shisha they will help you decide also. One of the team member Muhammed is very nice and helpful. Shisha taste lasts till the end.

This is the good place in Manchester if you like to have a coffee or Shisha, they got nice customer service they got my stuff and they are friendly so fast surface

The best and only lounge I go to and the flavour is on point. The staff are brilliant and the customer service is exceptional and also the coal changes are frequent. Shisha is really good and the flavour doesn't burn and continues for a while. Prices are reasonable and fair and for what you get it's worth it. I recommend this places for any shisha lovers.

Great shisha, great staff & never fails to looks after you. Baklava is always fresh, Muhammad is quite possibly the best person in any Shisha cafe in Manchester.

Best shisha and nice atmosphere

Very Rude Our recent visit to the shisha cafe was a very disappointing experience, and I'm still in shock about it. Me and three friends went there to relax and enjoy ourselves, but things took a turn for the worse. We used an extra chair to place our belongings, and to our surprise, one of the owner or a staff members asked us to vacate the chair abruptly and even moved our belongings onto our hands. This lack of hospitality and manners was truly unexpected, especially when compared to the welcoming atmosphere of other cafes. Regrettably, I won't be returning to this establishment.

Best shisha on Wilmslow road. I have went to multiple shops and they never meet the expectations like Sahara lounge. Very attentive staff members and are happy to help and make sure your shisha is good. Premium flavours that does not easily burn out. Screens all over for the football or boxing. Highly recommend and it’s my regular shop now.

Considering myself a connoisseur of shisha smoking I would rate Sahara as the best Shisha in the whole of Manchester. I have given a 5 star rating to a couple more places , but Sahara is by far the best

I have good memories here. The live singer was gifted with a beautiful soulful voice. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond to cater to my needs. Plus they were friendly and helpful... shisha was nice too.
