Sahara Grill Hounslow in Hounslow

My company came to Sahara Grill for Iftari. Not only were the staff incredibly thoughtful in leaving a bowl of dates on each table but at the point of booking they also advised the best time to come and order for the food to arrive in time of opening the fast. The food was absolutely mouth watering and the right portion and the mocktails were beyond delicious. The staff were friendly and professional which was a bonus. We will definitely be attending again as the whole experience was fantastic and can not find any fault at all. Air Dispatch Solutions

I went to try this place for a takeaway burger and some chicken wings, however before I ordered I specifically requested /advised the waiter that I was only interested in ordering if they use proper flame grilling on the burger and chicken. He assured me that they use proper grills. Unfortunately when I got home and tasted the burger it was done as an ordinary fry and had no aroma of a flame /bbq grill tastes. The so called , 'Sahara chicken wings' was awful, it did not taste fresh and it had no unique spicing or something that could be associated with being special to Sahara. It had no garlic, or grill effects either. This means they have advertised their foods falsely as clearly they do not serve proper flame/charcoal/wood fired grilled foods.

Service was good the staff were nice and friendly and very attentive. The food was awful. I ordered the Salmon and it was the most tasteless food I’ve ever eaten. I took few mouth full and asked the guy to take it away and just ate my daughters left over curly fries. The Qtr chicken was dry so sauce and everyone else at the table said their food wasn’t great either. Disappointed overall as we paid so much. Not worth the £16 they charge and also the side salad was not nice either and it’s salad!!!

Order beef steak and chips. Beef was good but the chips are an after thought and not homemade or it seemed that way. The seared tomatoes were cold inside and the gravy was very poor and watery that lacked any flavour and seasoning. Bit like a stock cube. Chicken wings were very nice coated in a tangy sauce. Waiter was fantastic. Overall, not worth the price and I would not return.

Came here after 5 years. Food was very bland. Had a T bone steak, gravy was the most watery gravy imaginable. Literally was curry flavoured water on the plate. Drinks were expensive. Group of friends didn’t finish their burgers off as they didn’t also like the food. You’d expect to pay the price on the menu but expected a lot more quality for the money. The only thing I’d praise is the waiters there. Very friendly group. Will never be going back.

Disappointing Food! Very salty, tasteless chicken!!! Overpriced bland Chicken & Chips (£15.99 pp). Poor service (40 minutes waiting time at least); cold, dull ambiance & seating definitely requires cleaning! Would NOT be visiting again!

Always be suspicious of decor that doesn't let you see the customers inside from the outside, few people in there, more than half empty. Overall uncomfortably silent atmosphere, digital menus, you scan a QR code and look on your phone, which is crap concept. You can't have wine with your meal, which where I'm from is insulting, food was bland and portions weren't sure how many people it was for. More than once I had to get the waiters attention just order our food and drink because no one seemed to be paying any attention to our section, granted we were the only 2 in it. You can't have a coffee after your meal and with the food being bland, no wine and no coffee I just wanted to get my bill, leave and never come back. Awful

Went with my family, atmosphere was very bland with no music, food was not too bad considering we were hungry but found it overpriced for the portion size.

I took my son on the way back from Hobbledown Heath and we had a fantastic meal. I could not recommend the lamb fillet more, cooked to perfection with a delicious marinade. I also really enjoyed the treacle pudding with custard and my mocktails. My son who rarely eats his food completed his meal. The service was excellent and they kindly let me pray upstairs. This was all such a surprise treat in the huddle and bustle of East Hounslow- trust me, you will not be disappointed!!!

Overall very happy with the experience and my waiter was especially kind! The fact that it was open until 12am was very practical as it became a late dinner (i arrived ~11pm) before going back to my hotel for the night. Really enjoyed my stay and I'd definitely like to go back again. By the way, the beef steak was on point!

We chose this restaurant because it looked nice. Turns out, looks is all they have. The food arrived late (50 min waiting for the stake!!!) when the restaurant was almost empty. As it turned out, my husband’s food went to someone else. After even more time, he was served a blue stake when he clearly ordered medium rare. Now, the unprofessionalism started. When we brought attention to the person serving that the steak is undercooked, he started arguing and insisting that a blue stake is actually medium rare, implicating that we didn’t know what was served and that we should have ordered “medium” whatever that means. Both ,myself and my husband, work in customer service, my husband is actually a restaurant manager, so we were really appalled by the approach of that person. When it came to the bill, not only we have not been given any compensation for the delayed order or undercooked food, but was offered a smirky comment ‘what? You didn’t like the food?’ This left us in utter shock. My husband, pushed by this comment, politely remarked that this is not how customer service works and asked for the manager - this is when we learned that the person serving us was in fact “the manager”, and he was so unprofessional all along. Moreover, we asked for the customer receipt from the card terminal, and the “manager” argued AGAIN that the machine doesn’t give those after he was unable to retrieve it. We were greatly disappointed by the service received, especially by the manager on duty. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Served by Yousif, amazing service and amazing good. Definitely try if you’re looking for a place to dine in Hounslow.
