WOW! i have to say one of the best. i do work in hospitality and deal with different caterers very often but i have to say Saffron Kitchen is something else. we had our staff party and to give our chefs a break from cooking we decide to go with Saffron Kitchen. every team member enjoyed the food and service. normally its very difficult for a person who has been in hospitality over 20years to say that someone has done a great job but i have to say they did. delicious food and service. we all enjoyed it. once again thank you :) from everyone @GCR

Gorgeous food, great service and they even have a prayer room. We were seated in a private room and had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Food is below average, service was okay, but expensive according to food quality and taste l.

Food ok - you will get the same in your high street for half the price. Bill for 2 people and a baby came to £97.00 (inc drinks on separate bill). Baby had just chips £5. Decor - extremely tired, especially toilets they were digusting with blockages and dirt. There is also a draft going though the restaurant, it was a cold day. Service - not once did waiter come on their will; we had to call them every single time, to order, to take our food, to add drinks, for ketchup, not once did they come on their own will except when bring the food. When we left not one good bye or thank you from anyone and we walked past about 3 waiters who were stood still. Chicken wings - cost £9 and look how small they are in the pic, it was just bones they were so small and they smelt so bad that we didn’t eat them. When we told them they simply offered to make more, they should have offered to take it off the bill, that is the service I expect when I pay higher than average prices. Instead the chef came to our table aggressively and said no one else had complained without even checking our wings - they had a really bad smell I bit into 2 that had same thing. Overall really disappointing experience, the butter chicken was nice and malai tikka. but honestly Nothing else was anything I would go back to eat again. Most our our food was left, we took the butter chicken home but left everything else it was not worth it. This is an honest impartial review from someone that knows his food.

A nicely decorated modern restaurant offering a variety of food for everyone. Mix grill had a good mixture of meats and dall makhani was fantastic the waiter even added in chopped chilli’s upon request. Had the fried lotus ice cream for the first time and found it a bit too rich but luckily shared this with someone else.

The food was okay, the lamb bhuna was really good but the masala chips and rice weren't that great. The decor was really pretty and the servers were great. We went on a saturday night so it got quite loud at times but generally okay.

I attended a wedding with catering by Saffron Kitchen. The food was delicious and the service was also great. The pilau rice was just wonderful maasha Allah and I loved the chai! Special thanks to Naz for making sure we were happy with everything. 🌷

Before I even saw the building, I knew it would be good. The air was thick with spices. Outside, there was no one to be seen. But once I stepped inside, the resturaunt was full of people. My meal was delicious and came out quite quickly. Excellent dining experience

I have been here a few times with friends and family in the past couple of months and I have to say the restaurant is excellent. Food has always been consistently good as well as the service. I recommend trying the lamb chops, the lamb ribs and lamb shank. Also parking behind the restraunt is very convenient.

Been going to Saffron for over 10 years and the food as always is quality. I recently visited after about 2 years and the price has almost doubled in many dishes. The butter chicken is now £16, which I remember was 8-10 before. Unfortunately with the price, the portion size seem have also decreased. Ordered butter chicken and there weren't much chicken pieces as it was before. That aside, the food is still quality, service and decor is 10/10 for me, however as the price has reached another level, it will not be my regular anymore. It be more of an occasional visit. Unfortunately like this joint, many places have put their prices sky high ...

Mi colega me sorprendió con un viaje aquí después del trabajo y me quedé impresionado. Tuve un King Prawn Kadhai extra caliente y fue realmente delicioso! Las porciones son tan generosas. Nunca había visto tanto paneer en un plato como el entrante de paneer de chile. Todo fue perfecto. ¡Qué gran sorpresa después del trabajo!

One of the best, fully halal places to eat in London! HMC certification, prayer facilities which is more than just a rug in the corner and lovely staff. The food itself is varied and just excellent quality. I don't know what else to write other than come here, eat and enjoy!

The food here is incredible! A great variety for food and flavour is always 10/10. The only food I wouldn’t go for again are the birria tacos as they were quite oily. Service is very good and atmosphere incredible.

I’m still in good coma after 4 hours. WOW. I’ve had a lot of Indian food and I’m so glad I was introduced to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in till the moment we left the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The service was spot on, the flavor of the food I cannot begin to explain that every dish was punching with spices and each tasted so different. The lamb chops were to die for. 10/10 you guys. Oh and the mango lassi I couldn’t get enough of. I’ve worked in hospitality for a long time and have friends who are some of the top chefs around the world and I will definitely be bringing them to you, thank you so much for a wonderful experience

I was invited there for dinner and the host was ordering appteizers, food and dessert and to my surprise each food item served was better than the one I had before it. I was in awe of how delicious an Indian restaurant based in London could be!! Absolutely loved the taste of each item. My favorite was butter chicken !!! I was so full but couldn’t help stop eating that scrumptious food! Highly recommend it Also watching the waiter make masala chai was a treat to the eyes!

The service, staff and food is impeccable, plenty of free car parking which makes the journey to the restaurant desirable. I go to this restaurant with my friends and always highly recommend to friends and clients.

Great atmosphere and a very nice place, the employees are really good, the food order came quickly despite the busyness, everything is great, do not go without a reservation.

I had gone to this restaurant about a few years ago and had the worst experience. I have an allergy to nuts and specifically asked them about any food items that had nuts so I could avoid them however after eating I had quickly realised that one of the dishes had nuts as I had broken out into a severe rash even though i was told that what i had ordered had no nuts. Despite my bad experience with this restaurant I had gone back yesterday and again had an allergic reaction to one their curry dishes that is not listed as having nuts on their menu. This is a severe problem and extremely unacceptable. If you have an allergy to nuts or any other allergy I would not recommend eating here as their dishes are clearly contaminated and they do not take any precautions when dealing with customers with allergies. This is a very serious issue as some people have extreme allergies that can result in death. I have never been to a restaurant with such bad service i would not recommend going here to anyone and will not be coming back.

Came a little early for my reservation but was not turned away. Lovely experience and surprisingly fast service for what we ordered. Definitely recommend it.

Starters were tasty but mains were disappointing, dampukht biryani had no taste and chicken jalfarezi was below average.

Great service booked the wedding hall upstairs for my sister Nikah and what amazing food, the service was amazing but the cherry on top was the lamb chops and masala chips ahahha. Special thanks to Naz who was the event manager and made everything such a smooth process highly recommend food and hall was amazing

Gone down hill. And we were rushed by the staff to leave as there was a booking. However the time for the food to be served took long so we didn't have much time.

Really beautiful place! We were provided with a private room, for starters we had Samosa chaat which was delicious and for mains we had lamb curry and chicken curry and chicken biryani which was really tasty and for desserts we had a milk cake. Will deffo recommend this place :)

My family and I recently dined at Saffrons this weekend and spent over £300, the food was awful apart from the masala chips and the chaat platter. The mixed grill, noodles, masala fish were almost burnt and very salty. Food was tasteless, this restaurant has gone very downhill ans I won’t be going there again.

I booked a table at Saffron Kitchen for a certain time however I was late by 30 minutes due to a lot of traffic. When I arrived at the restaurant I did apologise for being late however the owner or family friend (wearing glasses) that was manning the kiosk said that he cancelled our booking because we were late. I asked if there was a table available and he went on to say let the rest of you’s arrive and then we will see. At this point we weren’t promised a table so we had to wait in the waiting area. The man that spoke to me came across arrogant and rude and I didn’t appreciate the tone and the behaviour towards me and family members. I basically got told off for coming late to the restaurant and I no longer felt comfortable so I wanted to leave but because I had my elderly parents and children who were with me and were hungry so decided to stay. The restaurant wasn’t so busy that we had to wait for a table, the whole of the restaurant at the back was empty so we could’ve been seated and ordered the for everyone. There was another family waiting next to us who experienced the same hospitality. We ordered our starters and mains which was served to us half burnt so some of the kids ate burnt food! We are paying a lot of money for the food and only to receive burnt food. The quality of the food has gone from bad to awful, they have changed their recipes so many times and it is only getting worse. The only dishes that were good was the samosa chaat, dahi puri, masala chips and the mix grill was ok but not great as it was quite chewy and burnt. The mains; daal, king prawns karahi, achari gosh, masala fried fish (totally burnt) was terrible. This will be my last visit at saffrons kitchen. Please take the criticism on board as we were a big group and we weren’t happy with the food nor the service although the waiter was nice. I’m afraid I will not recommend the restaurant to anyone because I wouldn’t anyone to experience what my family and I experienced so I will give people my honest option.

Absolutely stunning venue, food was beautiful!

Booked a table for 8 of us. Saffron Kitchen had previously been our go to place for special family dinners however as time has gone on, the quality has declined and we were thoroughly underwhelmed by this experience. - Smaller meat pieces in the curry and a lot of curry sauce at an increased price. - The lamb biryani was just rice and lamb and they’ve used a type of rice which is not as flavourful/poorer quality. It’s like the rice was stuck together rather than being separate grains as you expect with good quality basmati rice. - They’ve changed the jug for the lassi so it looks like there is more as it’s a taller jug but it’s actually less lassi than before. I gave 2 stars because the peshwari naan is delicious and very soft and not overly sweet but £6 for a naan?? You’re having a laugh. Can’t fault the service, staff is very attentive.

Best restaurant ever I’d recommend pani puri Somoza chaat butter chicken mojito milkshake yum I love it all noodles 🥰🥰every time I go it’s a new experience I love the mouth watery lamb chops ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This Review is for Saffron catering and their wedding hall - Delicious food, customer service and decor. The evening was managed to the highest of standards by Naz who was accomodating and patient throughout! Highly recommend.

Booked a table for 6 people on a Saturday 7:30pm, 4 adults and 2 children. Waited for almost an hour for the food to arrive, which is appalling. When I enquired how long the food would take, another waiter came to our table to take our orders again until I had explained to him that I had already ordered. The waiters were friendly. I ordered a mixed grill, lamb biryani, butter chicken, masala chips, naan and some chicken tenders for the kids along with some mojitos. The food was absolutely average at best and I don’t know why so many people rave on about this place. The mixed grill is very pricey for a very small portion, biryani just had meat pieces and not enough rice, also tased very basic. The butter chicken was ok and the masala chips were just soggy red chips that smelled of vinegar. The naan was good and soft and the chicken tenders were awful, tasteless and hard. My kids usually eat tenders any where that we go but they literally avoided these tenders. The mojitos were not good at all and the glass had a lot of ice, clearly the drink quantity is low and full of ice and lime slices to make it look good, probably around 200ml. This place is very pricey, the waiting time is appalling and the food quality and portions do not justify the price. I don’t know why people love this place so much. It is average at best and I don’t think I will be eating here again unless someone is paying for my meal and I have a lot of time to waste. I know of better places that have better quality food, are reasonably priced and far lower waiting times.

Lovely experience at Saffron! Attended a cousins wedding at Saffron. Beautiful food served, salmon, Mongolian lamb. Starters, main, desserts were just amazing. Naz was incredible at managing, so personable and friendly for us at our table. Every event needs a Naz! From managing schedule, managing food and pictures, she was so lovely at accommodating us at Saffron banqueting

Nice food, beautiful decor, lovely function room for hire. Car park is absolutely massive 👌🏻. The only reason for not giving five stars on this occasion was the state of the upstairs venue toilets. Smashed up units, lack of cleanliness, it just looked as if someone completely forgot this actually exists in their building.

Great service, all the waiting staff are helpful and patient. Food is tasty, chicken lollipop was nice. Daal gusht biryani is enjoyable. Kids meals are good quality except for £8, a drink would be nice. £16 for a pot of butter chicken is eye watering when it should simply be mouth watering. Milkshakes are actually decent. Strawberry mojitos are very small, maybe 250ml only. All in all, a reliable and enjoyable dining experience in a very busy restaurant which would be great if it wasn't priced so high. You'll really only go there for a celebratory meal.

This week we visited saffron kitchen for a wedding event. We were in awe of the look of the venue and the food tasted amazing right from the starters through to dessert! The chilli prawns were a huge hit! The service was outstanding, we could see that the guests were very well looked after. When requested, the children were given plain ice cream for their dessert without any hesitation. The event manager looked to be available when needed and nothing was too much for her! A great evening overall. Would highly recommend the food and venue for any events.

Very nice place,the staff were very friendly and attentive and explained what the dishes were as we weren't familiar, the food was hot and good portions. The food didn't take long to come And the masala fries are lovely. There were 6 of us, and the meal was for a birthday 🎂 and the boss was happy fir us to bring the cake in and sing happy birthday. So I will be going back 🙂

I went here for a wedding engagement ceremony. The rear of the restaurant was hired out. The Staff were attentive. The menu provided was great and the size of the venue was nice enough to host 50 people. Good location with ample parking at the rear of the venue which was free to park. Should you visit the restaurant try the buttered chicken, lamb chops and their famous masala chips.

ordered the lamb shank and Chicken 65, food was awful had no taste at all actualy sickening. ended up taking it all back in a doggy bag the best part of the meal were the drinks. Gave the manager feedback but clearly he was not bothered and just said i will talk to the chef. not going back to this place ever !!!

Really nice food and service was good. The restaurant was nicely decorated and seating was comfortable and not cramped. A good family day out and suitable for large groups of people.

The kids chicken and chips had been refried and was extremely dry which made it unedible. The chow mein 65 smelt old and the chicken was dry with no sauce and while eating it I found a diamonte which to me it looked like it had fallen off someone’s fancy clothes and made me question weather this was someone else’s food which had been reheated. Very upset with this experience as previously me and my whole family love coming to this restaurant but this genuinely made us feel sick. I expect a high standard when paying so much for my food.

We came for a wedding event the hall was nice and clean very welcomming,food was great nice n tasty.service was ok until a dhaka lady refused to give a extra plate.there was a choclate fountain with no plates or Bowls so We used one from table.when I asked for another she refused and said sorry We already given plate.We had to use tissue to clean some choc off the plate n use it for main food.if it wasn't someones wedding n I wasn't the guest , I would of taught her a lesson.

My experience at Saffron Kitchen Lea Bridge was average, earning a three-star review. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was decent, but the service was lacking. The waiters had poor communication and customer service skills. Upon entering, we weren't asked if we were dining in or getting takeaways, and had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone approached us, despite the restaurant having only a few occupied tables. When I requested a Garlic Chilli Cheese Naan, willing to pay an extra pound or two, the waiter refused, stating they were too busy, which seemed unreasonable given the few customers present. While the food was satisfactory, the subpar service overshadowed the experience. Improvements in staff training and customer interaction would greatly benefit Saffron Kitchen.

Do not go here, they will discriminate against you. It is very disheartening since this is a Muslim establishment. Stay away there are much better restaurants than this. Learn to treat your customers better!

We've been coming to Saffron for years. My nephew treated us to dinner 2 weeks ago, we all had food poisoning 4-5 hours after our meal. I had butter chicken, rice, peshwari nan, and a jug of mango lassi. Our waiter was excellent. Parking was really convenient but that's the last time for me.

Review - Vine a este restaurante con expectativas razonables, pero mi experiencia aquí fue horrible. Nos pusieron en una habitación estrecha y estaba congestionado sin espacio. Era el cumpleaños de mi sobrina en la calle y éramos muchos los asistentes. Ni siquiera teníamos espacio para sentarnos y comer correctamente y apenas podíamos mover los brazos. Me sentí restringido cuando se trata de movimiento. Los camareros fueron groseros y el gerente fue aún peor hacia el final mientras levantaba la voz y comenzaba a gritarnos que nos fuéramos. Éramos muchos, así que no es que todos podamos salir en 1 segundo. El gerente no fue muy comprensivo. Si esta es la forma en que trata a los clientes que pagan, entonces eso le dice todo lo que necesita saber sobre las personas que trabajan aquí. La comida era promedio y la mantequilla de pollo y cordero al curry me ha dado un error estomacal. No recomiendo este restaurante, así que te sugiero que ahorres dinero y elijas un lugar donde te traten con respeto y donde cocinen la comida correctamente.

This place is a must try, I prefer it over saffron street.. flavors are more authentic. For a bigger crowd they give you a private dining area which was great we were a group of 15. Not too many varieties on the menu but every thing they have is bang on. There's parking at the rear too, the staff were very attentive and Friendly

Made to leave when we asked if we could order tea after dinner, staff member said we can’t have tea and walked off. Staff kept coming by to take dishes away even when we weren’t finished yet and making us feel like we should leave. Would not recommend going here and would not go back.

Terrible servicio . sentí como si quisieran sacarnos de la mesa mientras comíamos pidieron que se despejara la mesa y brig r the bill. Mientras pagaba a los clientes se sentía como si estuviéramos cargando gratis o algo así. Pregunté por el té al final mientras que la casi mitad del restaurante estaba vacío. El camarero nos pidió que nos fuéramos ya que necesitan la mesa Se quedó poco más de una hora, pero cada minuto se sentía como si quisieran sacarnos de la mesa. Esto solía tener un ambiente amigable y utilizaba Pero después del servicio y el ambiente no hay plan de volver en un futuro próximo. Esto se estropeó toda la noche. SOBREPRECIADO CON EXTREMA DISMINUCIÓN EN EL TAMAÑO DE LA PUERTO

Amazing food across the board. I personally love the masala chips and the pina colada. They provide a prayer room too which was very nice. Parking space was available around the back.

Pleasant dining and unique taste as some dishes are available at Saffron only. Malai Sheekh Kebab and chicken tenders were nice and Papri Chaat was also tasty.

Went to our friends wedding and Saffron kitchen made the experience a memorable one. Prawns, Daal, chicken Chow mein and cinnamon doughnut to name a few were delicious. Naz the petite young lady was very helpful and kept the guests entertained with her warm personality. Thank you saffron

Good fusion food, there is a lot of foot traffic around the central tables which can ruin the ambience.
