Caffè Nero in Waltham Forest

We have been here several times and there is one lady who makes good coffee, but she is not here any longer. The coffee they make now is like milk soup, no coffee flavour at all, they don’t seem to make any effort at all, and don’t show any customer service at all, especially on the weekend. They don’t even bother cleaning the areas, we will not come back.

Ive been there regular times, but all lady baristas are dint know how to make coffee , nero’s managers should check this branch immediately and staff needs to get proper training

Very much rude. I could sense the energy once me a person of color walked in. Sure enough at the register when ordering I was presented with micro aggressions and uncomfortable looks during our exchange . Of course I received the incorrect beverage, and I was not surprised. I was asked several times if I was leaving soon and being reminded that they close in 15 minutes. Surprised to experience this much racism in this part of London

Decent strength coffee infrastructure and bit dated and dodgy

Coffee is average at best whilst the food is overpriced for what it is. The shop it self always has a damp smell for some reason

Ordered a chai latte and tuna melt to eat in was waiting a while for my sandwich when she dished it up it was burnt I told her I didn’t want it and to have a refund, her and her colleague did not know how to refund on the till so gave me cash. So because of the burnt food and poor customer service I won’t returning it was like the blind, leading the blind !

Fast, efficient, polite service and well set up for social distancing. Apr 24. Still good service (different staff since last entry made). Only served in paper cup and takeaway box as apparently dishwasher is broken. Last bit of cappuccino cake was getting a bit dry. Should it be discounted when like this?

Fantastic place to have a coffee or bite to eat. They are dog friendly as well as the staff being very welcoming.

Costa serves hot milk instead of coffee.Nero serves coffee with a smile.

when we order delivery, drivers keep cancellin orders that mean; nero staffs dont make order in the time and drivers leave from shop, its not etic, we dont have to stuck in traffic for coffee!!!!

As Dorothy so eloquently framed it in The Wizard of Oz - 'There's No Place Like Home'. This little coffee shop in the heart of the thriving metropolis that is North Chingford definitely feels like home. Great for order & collect with orders prepared in minutes and so convenient it feels like you are literally popping downstairs for a coffee when you wake up. The team are great. The coffee and the almond croissants are always fresh and tasty as if they were being made in your own home. I love you Caffè Nero in Station Road - I never want to be far away from you.

The barista that made our delicious drinks yesterday was so nice and helpful. Even happily remade my drink for me after a little error on my part. Excellent customer service and very polite. Didn't eat anything so can't comment although everything looked really good and fresh. Our drinks were delicious and perfectly made. Thank you so much, credit to the barista ♡

While having my coffee in restaurant the lady came with mop and mopping the floor,under your sofa and table. Why do l have to smell bleach while l was drinking my coffee.

Very rude staff specially the manager. i am dilevroo rider usually i pick up order from there .i asked for the coffee. dilevroo send us e mail we can get cup of coffee from any coffee nero branch in london.he clearly said to me we dont give coffee free and i paid for my coffe .now i decided not going to this branch for oick up order any more. The manager behaviour against me like i am begging for cup of coffee very disappointed 👎🏼

Would not regret going to manager i would she was prepaired for an order of a size get we are used to.. I would replace that person with another man anyday with more class and professinalism. Check it. I would never waste my time doing what this female though her emotion's told her. I want this delt with. Do you see the confusion with this girl i will take it with the higher management i have a connection with a higher i will report it to them. Managemnet will get notefied.

I gave up. I was second in the queue and the barista took so much time gossiping with the person in front of me that I abandoned the idea of a coffee. Two people working and in ten minutes, they couldn’t produce a coffee.

Coffee is generally better than Costa but the Chingford branch is looking shabby. Also some new staff don't seem to have been very well trained, quality is variable.

The Coffee good but table really need cleaning or looking after

Could do with a refresh. Armchairs are worn and has massive holes in it, and the toilets are kinda gross.

Only one staff member working, long waits and bad coffee.

They substitute a veg toasty for a pork toasty without any notice.

A local coffee shop for local people

Not bad for a coffee chain, was a bit disappointed a couple of chatty regulars were served before me even though my order went in first, just seemed a bit disrespectful of my time.

Caffè Nero in Chingford is the best coffee shop in the world. Nero’s coffee has always been the best, but it’s the staff that make this branch so fantastic. Monica the manager is just brilliant, a wonderful lady who is polite, respectful and a lot of fun. She always has a big smile on her face and calls me by my name which is really nice. I have been going to this shop everyday for more years than I can remember and seeing Monica really does make my day - Awesome job Monica. There is a new staff member called Josh and he is also extremely good. He knows my name already and always engages me in conversation, plus he make great coffee. He’s definitely manager material for the future.

Always get amazing service from this branch. The manager is lovely and can’t do enough for you. Never get the wrong drink and made exactly how I like it. Love the personal touch by the staff.

Awful experience dirty tables, no customer service from barista. In reply to please can we have a plate? “No it’s a takeaway service” (a stack of plates visible- why are there tables and chairs???) The waitress with long black hair incredibly rude- needs customer service training.

A good sized coffee shop on the High Road with free WiFi. I was served by a really friendly barista who helped me to work out on the app how to claim my free coffee. We had a lovely chat whilst she was preparing my coffee.

Tried the new Pistachio Iced Latte. Thought it might be refreshing in this hot weather. The drink was warm with ice. How? Thought the liquids were meant to be in the fridge and cold. Drink was warm and super sweet. Went straight in the bin.

Coffee is brilliant also the cakes are really really good a little pricey in my opinion

I was very pleased with my coffee at this Cafe Nero yesterday. This is the only coffee chain that can do a proper ristretto. Smiling baristas are always a good sight and a mood upper. If you are familiar with Cafe Nero, then this is a typical good one. If you haven’t been in one before, I will let you in on a secret - it is better than a bigger competitor coffee chain that rimes with “foster” :)

Always good service and tasty coffee

Came in 20 minutes before closing time and was rushed by the barista who was complaining about not having time to go to toilet. Rude service and customer service inexistant. Will avoid.

They dump their rubbish out the back and leave it there encouraging other disgusting people to fly tip. They are a disgrace to Chingford. If I could give negative stars I would. The staff are so unhelpful and refuse to take responsibility for the dumped rubbish. I had to move their bin for them 9months pregnant in the rain because "it was too heavy" for one of them.

But disappointed this time with my visit here. Usually Caffe Nero has vegan options of cake bars, but today they had nothing. Considering there is a vegan cafe just along the road, you would think they'd try to compete little, but it seems not. On the plus side, they made a nice soy cappuccino and they had very nice music playing in the background.
