Saffron in Glasgow City

We came from Manchester for delivery & looking for Halal Takeaway we found Saffron, Food was delicious and very tasty, Staff was very polite and friendly. Highly recommend the takeaway 😍

1 hour and 45 minutes after the order was placed… 45 minutes after the delivery time, the order has arrived cold. Cannot eat this!

I can't say nothing negative about saffron.. I don't order often from here but I've had a decent number of orders and not once has it been anything other than exemplary.. i should use em more..only reason i don't is am a fast food junkie..ie burgers etc so i choose kfc blah blah.. but saffron truly are incredible. I'd go as far to say with saffron your getting fast food at resteraunt quality. 5/5 they have amazing cool stuff on the menu av no even tried yet like salmon pakora!

pizza deal was missing can of juice. phoned restaurant whom said they would send one can out. it never apoeared

first time ordering from this place, tandoori mixed grill and a chicken tikka calzone, the amount of meat in the mixed grill is fantastic, big chunks of chicken/lamb, perfectly cooked, naan bread was massive and tasty, as was the tub of salad,I tried a small piece of the calling which was lovely too, I used the 40% off offer which was appreciated, the food in this fast food shop is excellent, probably nicer than what you'd get in a restaurant,big 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ from me

It was the best Indian takeaway I had ever in my life and I’ve been to India before and the delivery driver was really nice and fast he is very friendly and awesome the food quality was brilliant McDonald’s food is all processed but this is just great

Ordered around 645 to collect at 7.30 order confirmed! Got to shop 7.35 claim not to have my order ask for confirmation which showed then find my order and leave the shop 8pm with part order missing . Food quality great as per but collection experience not

Finally found an Indian Takeaway in the area that cooks everything from fresh and doesn't undercook their pizzas. Had a few different orders and everything has been tasty and fresh. The samosa are not bought in but made fresh as well

I never leave reviews but this was the worst curry I’ve ever had. I can’t even call it a curry and you shouldn’t be calling it Indian cuisine. It was the worst attempt at a curry I’ve ever seen or tasted. I was laughing putting it on the plate, which I wish I had never done. The lamb chops were far too tough and dry and the lamb in the so called bhuna was far too tough also and don’t even get me started on the sauce. Honestly a disgrace to send that out as a curry, I’m honestly speechless

Best food shop in Knightswood 100% won’t be disappointed. Tastes, portion sizes are big and price are all reasonable. Can’t praise the staff enough. They go above and beyond to accommodate ur likes and dislikes. Get in ma belly 😆

who ever cleans in there should ensure the food is away from chemicals before they spray. pizza tasted like a cleaning product. Whoever owns it now should be embarrassed, they have changed all the recipes and they have all went downhill now

I'm not sure what was wrong with it as I'm still waiting for it to come only ordered it on Tuesday it is now Friday. I'm so angry as it was a Christmas treat for my grandkids I can't afford to do it often and had to order another take away. Also waiting for a refund for a Chinese takeaway so I am down almost £60 please could you could I have my refunds preferably before Christmas eve

Well worth waiting the extra 10 minutes for the food. There is loads of excellent quality food, which should last a couple of days.

Food was really nice spicy chicken pizza was good nice amount of cheese, chicken chasni sauce was beautiful the ckn that was in it was lovely there just really wasnt that much of it! The mix kebab again really good as was the mix pakora would deffo use again

Come on guys this used to be a excellent takeaway with excellent food thou since the new owner and new chefs have moved in it's rapidly went down hill drastically get a grip saffron or you are going to lose a lot of your loyal customers

Got a king kebab and when we opened the box the kebab was absolutely swimming in grease even the Nan bread was dripping with grease put me off a kebab for life

Curry was ridiculously hot inedible. Ordered south indian garlic chilli chicken it was hotter than a madras

Super grill box ordered - meat was overcooked and dry kebab had went hard around edges lamb chop included was decent rest was poorly cooked. meat is meant to have moisture 🙄

My order last night was a full on disaster. The chips were so greasy and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. Much better local options

Just collected an order of chicken pakora and large kebab. The kebab was fine although could have been a little warmer.. the pakora however was sadly terrible, the chicken was rubbery and could tell it had been over cooked, I’d go as far as to say cooked twice. This isn’t the great service we have had in the past. I have never had to complain, did call and the person who answered just wasn’t helpful at all. If you’re paying for fresh hot food then it should be just that. Little disappointed 😞

Tasty food and good portions. Only thing was that the poppadoms were missing from the order which came as part of the set meal.

Rice freezing,curry put in the micro Luke warm, Nan bread freezing,items missing from order,mixed pakora cold and rotten,refused to send driver back with money for missing food wouldn’t go near the place again much better else where feel sick now

Order was delivered quickly after ordering. Food, as always, was piping hot and delicious. Every order I have had from Saffron has been top notch!

Mix pakora a bit dry and bland. Wasn’t hot like it had just come out of the fryer. The rest of our meal was nice tho.

Very bad customer service and food. Charged my card 2x full in advance. Frozen pizzas are better than what I got from this place. And thanks for the cold and soggy chips

Just had another great takeaway from saffron tried the lamb chops wow tasted so good and they serve the best kebab from any shop I've tried before not one bit of grease and delivery was very good

Rotten pizza, far too thick and barely cooked

Worst pizza iv had in a long time. Far to thick, far too much dough, far too many topping. The dough was barely cooked again!!! The pizzas used to be good here but have really gone downhill recently, much like much of their food 😕

It was worth it though and delivery driver was very pleasant 👍

Great service ! Food was excellent. Lamb madras was spicy and the meat great quality. Portion sizes huge. Naan bread was really good. Chicken bhoona spot on too. Will use again for sure.

1st order was good so I ordered again and was very disappointed with the fried rice as it was like a pkt of microwave rice all clogged together

Got a large chicken kebab and a mixed kebab. Both generous portions and the best kebab I've had in Glasgow, will defo be my new go-to kebab shop. 👌🏻
