Service is always good but the FOOD, is the star of the show. I often come here with the baby, and he enjoys the outdoor patio and the lentil soup while I read or relax. The food is phenomenal.

We didn't get any seat on the ground floor, so we had seating on the first floor which was not a big area but luckily we were the only ones there. The food and drinks were delicious. We really liked the grills and the tea was amazing & authentic. We ejoyed having lunch there. The service was also good. The toilet was clean.

We love Saffron !! The atmosphere is perfect and the food is fresh and delicious.

So far, I've been to Saffron twice and on both occasions the customer service has been first class, the staff are so friendly, so patient, so informative. This, all before I speak about the food which was full of flavour, seasoned and juicy. The lamb I had was cooked well, tasty and moist, far from being tough or dry... I would describe Saffron as a perfect location to take friends or family for a great evening of food and tea. It has become my new favourite restaurant in Richmond. Will return again soon.

There was five of us and the meal was delicious! There was massive potions and came to around £30 each! So cheap for what you get and such a good place for a meal!

Had a super time at Saffron. I have great expectations and the were met. Lovely atmosphere, lovely service...food was exceptional and I like additional garlic with my food...so yes all expectations met. Cosy restaurant and exceptional value for money and you actually have a conversation. Highly recommended... x

Lovely meal enjoyed with friends, can't fault any of it. Good portion sizes and a great selection of kebab dishes to suit everyone. Had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the service was excellent. The restaurant space is small but will laid out and doesn't feel too cramped. Definitely recommended

We ordered the kebab koobideh skewers with naan bread. The meat had a very strong lamb taste and smell, the biggest issue was the chewiness of the naan bread, we could hardly swallow it. They usually include a delicious spicy sauce they didn’t include in our order last night which was disappointing. We’ve been to many Persian restaurants including Gandom and this one in comparison is pretty poor. Hope this feedback is taken.

Superb food, friendly staff and perfect-sized portions, not too big or too small. Attractive and peaceful and always open everyday after midday, which is convenient.

We reached the restaurant at almost 15:50. we ordered hommos, dolma, a mixed grill for 4, a glass of wine,7 up, and a peroni. After almost 20 minutes we had the appetizers we ate it and we started complaining about how the service is slow until almost 15:36 when we received the main course the mix grill was so fresh with a large portion with an appetite 😋 and we started digging in we loved the food we had no problem with waiting because it worth it. I highly recommend Saffron Restaurant to anyone who wants to try and enjoy the persian food

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saffron in Richmond has a cosy intimate atmosphere. Not a large/loud place, it is great for couples or small groups. The customer service was warm and friendly. The food was fragrant and flavourful. I had the lamb it was one of the best Lamb dishes I've ever had. Will return for sure, thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

I came here after a year this time and , food has rather gone from top to Marvellous, service at its best, owner and staff are BEING HUMAN. Cozy and yet very homely hospitality. Full of warmth and yummy for tummy food. Quality, Service, Portions are all value for money and if you looking for a healthy delicious food. Enjoy it....Dont forget to end your meal with combo of Icecream and Faluda noodles. Plus Persian Tea

I ordered option 24 which was kobideh with rice as a takeaway just before they closed on Wednesday this week. Delicious authentic soft mince kebabs with a generous portion of rice. I was stuffed and satisfied. I was welcomed and greeted warmly by the staff member, she had my order ready with salad and cutlery and complimentary sweets. Great service and will be sure to see them soon! Thank you

Enormous portions, one main (polow) would satisfy 3 people. Really tasty from smoky aubergine starter to main to the fresh as fresh can be side salad. Everything was exquisite. Despite being delivered a few miles! Would definitely order again from here.

Great atmosphere, nice Persian music playing in the background and the staff were great (parnia was super friendly and helped me choose what to eat on the menu and it was a delicious choice). Definitely recommend going here :)

The food was lovely and the service was very good. We have given 4 stars for atmosphere because if you are sat next to large group of diners it is very hard to hear what is being said at your own table. Not the restaurant fault, but something to bear in mind if you are going out for a romantic dinner. However we would recommend eating at this restaurant.
