I haven’t ordered from Saffrons in a while, since moving out of the village over a year ago. Not sure if it’s changed hands but the naan bread is almost store bought and the deep pan pizza is the exact same as a thin. Save the pennies, don’t go for the deep pan

They were extremely polite and phoned my straight away to say something wasn’t in stock but offered an alternative at the same price, rang me at every stage and upon delivery phoned me again, will definitely be ordering from here again.

It's the first time I've ordered from here and I ordered the kebab box, it was absolutely beautiful and cooked perfectly. This is now my new favourite place. Thank you saffron for the best takeaway I've had in ages I will definitely be ordering again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Ordered online 12/04/2024 the order was accepted and the money went to pending out of my account. I then got an email to say the order was cancelled. I called the shop but no answer, I drove to the shop but no one there. The money has since left my account and I haven't been able to speak with anyone to get a refund.

Food never arrived, stopped answering the phone and never refunded the money. Never have I ever received such appalling service. I understand that at times food may be delayed but to lie and screen calls and then promise the food and a refund are on their way (3hours after ordering) and neither arrive. Appalling. Will never return and would not recommend.

It was awful, one of the pizzas was burnt and the other was missing toppings. I will never order from here again and I’d highly recommend anyone else to order from somewhere else. Don’t waste your money. Seriously gone down hill in the last year.

The biryani was tasty but just warm on arrival, the chicken kebab on naan had sweated so much the naan just fell to pieces. Everything was covered with grease. The last few orders we’ve had haven’t been as good, which is a shame as we found Saffron to be the best for us. Maybe time to try elsewhere 😞

Food was cold chips wasn’t editable the pizza didn’t come with order so called restaurant there sent on out it was freezing cold. My mum didn’t eat it

Order was wrong again, it's almost pot luck as to what you received when you order a special mixed Kebab - Could not even be bothered to ring up and have the order corrected it happens so often- Curry orderd was way hotter than normal for the same dish - Once again inconsistancy seems to be standard - Will not be ordering again

I have always had a good experience with this restaurant and really like the food. I wrote a review following an order on 1st March which I am now unable to change or delete. There had been a problem with the delivery driver's car but someone from the restaurant brought our food himself and I have received a refund to make up for the delay so I wanted to say that I appreciate this customer service and will continue to shop at Saffron

My food was delivered 2 hours late, around 10.30 pm, much to late to be eaten that evening. I was Promised a full refund but I am yet to receive it. I had a message from Just Eat to say that the restaurant was not going to refund my money because the driver was stuck in heavy traffic.. That is ridiculous. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant and there was no traffic. I understand there was a problem with the driver and eventually a member of the restaurant team brought the delivery himself. So I am happy to continue using this restaurant provided I get the full refund I was promised

These guys are brilliant - Everything is fresh, high quality, perfectly cooked. Lucky for me they are practically on my doorstep, so we get food from them a lot. Kitchen is always spotless, and they are nice lads. Can't go wrong.

Ordered from Saffron for years - the last two times they were over an hour late. It’s now nearly 2 hours late for this order - guy I spoke to on the phone doesn’t seem to care. Not sure if it changed ownership but we will be avoiding in future.

no salad or sauce for kebab so was very and wasted

Fish kebab came with no bread and was the same price as options with pitta or chips. ordered it with chilli sauce and they sent nothing. just chewy overcooked fish. yum!

Awful.. never seen a dansak served like it.. basically a korma with some pineapple in it… no lentils. Disappointing! We regularly order from here. Not sure I will again.

Good starter and rice. Balti fish very mushy with a coating. Nice flavour but not the texture.

food was really rubbish, the calazon tasted just tomatos and not cooked properly. as it was under cooked. the wrap was awful and the wrap it self was all wet. the garlic bread was in a right mess and over cooked as it had burnt cheese on it. we won't be coming back to this pizza place at all.

The chicken , sweetcorn, mushroom and olive Pizza was overcooked with virtually no chicken on it. Fries were also overcooked . Very disappointing from a takeaway we use often. 40 minutes late as well, it's put me off ordering from Saffron again.

Ordered a lamb madras and the lamb was all gristle and unpleasant. The madras was really creamy which was strange and had a strong taste of tomatoes, wasn’t very pleasant. The naan was nice and so was the onion bajis. The garlic bread was nice too. Just avoid lamb and the curry. Oh they also forgot the pickle tray. I felt because I ordered so late on, they just mixed whatever curry sauce they had left in with some lamb

Pizzas are always spot on and one is big enough to share between two! So I fed 4 hungry teenage lads on 2 pizzas!

Mixed kebab on a naan. Fed two of us with chips. Absolutely spot on. Red hot and really tasty..second time I’ve ordered and both times super quick and beautiful food. Thank you! I’ll be back!

Worst takeaway I’ve had in a long time. Where to start? Food was freezing, I don’t know why there is only a 1 hour limit for being late, it arrived after 2 and a half hours and the quality was awful. The driver said I can have 25% off my next order, however I will be expecting a full refund.

Made extremely quickly. Keep you updated on when your food is ready and tells you an estimated time that it will be ready for if you haven't chosen a specific time for it to be made by. It is always ready for collection before this time which is brilliant and the food is brilliant quality. Would definitely recommend as a treat after a long day at work or if you just want something to enjoy instead of cooking something.

Didn’t get all three samosas, however the food was hot and delicious.

Unfortunately the shami kebab were burnt. The samosa meat smelt and tasted sour - it tasted off The lamb in the Balti was inedible - it was hard to cut and chewy. It’s a shame as we order from here a lot :(

Lovely curry but my onion bhaji was not cooked properly in the middle so I couldn't eat it think it could be bacause it was too thick so just didn't cook properly.

Stale poppadoms and no pickle tray

Food was nice, Donna meat is lovely and tasty and the naan bread super soft and fluffy, my son demolished his chicken burger, everyone was happy…. Delivered 10 mins early as well :) will deffo be ordering again.

The chicken bhuna was superb if a little hot. The pizzas top class and fresh roti. Great service as usual.

I ordered for 7pm.butvwas running late so contacted the chef. He said ring me when home I will cook and send to you. I did just that. The curry was very nice indeed the nan bread wasn't as expected as used to them being a long down out shape not round like a pizza base. The poppadoms at 90p each were stale . Service excellent main course excellent bread and poppadoms poor in my opinion.

Let me preface by saying we’ve always been huge saffron fans but tonight the lamb was chewy, grizzly and tough, the garlic naan was undercooked and soggy, and the poppadoms tasted oily and were not crisp.

Poppadoms not in the order package that had been paid for. Mixed kebab was awful, fatty meat, all covered in a red flavourless sauce.

Once again a great meal and delivered early which was excellent.

Although it was delivered on time, the curry was tasteless, swimming in oil and meat was very gristly.

My order still hasn’t turned up even tho just eat is saying it has .

Usualy I give Saffron 5* for food quality, but the vegetarian meals contained diced mixed veg, that could have been from a packet, meat option excellent. Hopefully just an off day yesterday

Really nice n tasty food we all enjoyed our Starters and the Curries, And the free poppadoms and drink was very much appreciated. {Only thing we missed was the salad and the onions} But will be ordering again very soon

Normally love food from here! Really disappointed this time, ordered mixed kebab, cheesy chips and a pizza! Pizza and chips was stone cold! The kebab was really hot tbf so the pizza and chips was obviously cooked a long time before the kebab so must have just been sat there! Sent mutton instead of lamb in the kebab which is unacceptable and the meat was really dry! Mint sauce all leaked in bag so we didn’t even get that! Not impressed wouldn’t order Again using just eat best of going to pick up!

Food is always great from here and on time, delivery driver is lovely. My current favourite takeaway
