The proverbial 'hole in the wall' restaurant with unbelievably tasty Punjabi food. We're back from five weeks in Europe, and, this was our best dining experience for the entire time. For 40 pounds we got several dishes with enough for another dinner at home a couple of days later. The whole family is involved and you can watch the food prep while you wait. This Birmingham neighborhood is a restaurant desert, fortunately, they have Sabi's!

First visit but it won't be my last. Cracking little place with very friendly owners. Aloo Paratha, Lentil curry, Raita and proper chai was really good and £4.50 all in, a true bargain. Recommended.

We spotted this hidden gem while staying nearby. We had a meat thali and veg thali and the food was excellent, really authentic and freshly cooked. Best naan I've ever eaten. Service was slow as I think we arrived late in the service and they had lots of takeaway orders to fill. Most tables occupied too. However staff most apologetic and they gave us some free drinks. Food was well worth the wait and this place is well worth seeking out. Not the prettiest area of Brum but don't be put off.

A group of us dined out on a Saturday afternoon. The service was friendly, and not at all pushy or intrusive. All the food was cooked to order, and was available in 'mild' or `spicy` versions. If you are vegetarian, there are loads of veggie options - possibly more than there are meat options. The restaurant is very close to the Burning Soul brewery, and both restaurant and brewery are happy for you take drinks from there to eat with your meal. Burning Soul also serve delicious samosas from Sabi's (for a donation of your choice). All our food was delicious, and the right degree of `spicy` for each of our tastes, and very reasonably priced, too.

Just chanced upon this name while finding an Indian restaurant in Birmingham. The place is normal but the vibes inside are very lively. Sabi himself comes and suggests what sort of food youn like. I ordered for Naan, Dal Tadka , Lauki ka sabji and green salad. Believe me , all the food were so fresh and tasty, just like cooked at home . Quantity is also good and so its the quality. Green chilli paste and boondi raita added to the fervour. Must not forget to eat out at this place.Above all, Sabi is a very good human and his team is fantastic

I have to say I question the genuineness of some of the reviews on here, we ordered a takeaway at the cost of £35 and had 3 tikka curries 1 house special 1 lamb and 1 chicken all with rices. Previous

The food and the location is really good at Ark but little details could have made the experience better. I would highly recommend the food but the wine prices were unclear from the menu given and I p

I'd been out with a group of chums to see "Dune: Part 2" (oh, and I have opinions about THAT!) and fancied something appropriately spicy afterwards: The spice must flow! We chose Rumana's on a recomm
