Really good food! Highly recommend.

The starters were burnt and cold. The mains had no spicy heat to them at all, very bland in comparison to the other occasions when we have ordered the same meal for two.

Excellent food. Service first class. Lots of flavour and portions was good. Highly recommend the mixed grill and Chicken Tikka Biryani.

I order from here at least once a week. The food here is always excellent and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend the chicken Jalfrezi and the onion bajis are delicious. Can’t wait for my next meal 🙂

don't know where to start. used them a few years ago but it was awful friend said food much better. starter mixed kebab, chicken tasted of burnt ghee l shush mince same and just fat. Lamb tikka massla, sause inedible sweet Tomato sauce sugar no flavour the main worse than the starter. shocking

Will not return. Ordered collection via their own (preferred) website, they took cash from my bank yet said they had no knowledge of my order after I had driven to collect and gave evidence of my order - they were not apologetic and Had to push for a refund. So frustrating when you’ve done everything right. Sadly after something going wrong almost everytime I order from here this is the final straw and I will Not be using again. Strongly Recommend you avoid and go elsewhere. To avoid frustration and disappointment. I get the sense they actually don’t want to give people food or a good service, but will happily take your money.

Very small portions had the chicken Teka extremely disappointed it worked out that I paid £1 for every small piece of chicken Phoned to ask if they sent the starter and not the main dish but no it was the main dish complete rip-off as you can see in the picture it only filled half the container I never bothered to eat it I was so disgusted

Really dry reshmi kebab- even with omelette. Lamb in biryani was tough as old boots, tough to even cut with a knife. Naan bread was doughy yet dry? I asked for well done, but this was something completely different. Overall, really disappointing. Was hoping to finish the weekend on a high with a nice takeaway, but it wasnt to be.

Wonderful meal, plenty of coconut in the Nan bread. Salad could have been a little fresher but enjoyed it anyway.

Just had an Indian from this takeaway Chicken jalfrezi - chicken was non existent, three pieces all the rest tiny pieces. Just sauce and tomatoes. Starter was sheeh kebab . Stale very poor Do not waste your money - wait longer and go to other takeaway.

The quality of Sagoor has gone right down. I don’t think I will order here again. It used to be fresh but now very greasy. the lamb was rock hard. Everything is lacking flavour. Naan bread is like a lump of dough! Such a shame I’ve been coming here years

Absolutely delicious food from Saagor, they are one of the best in Penarth! The curries, rice and sundries are always incredibly tasty, the pathia is absolutely amazing. Whether in person, over the phone or online they have always delivered promptly and the staff are all polite, courteous and friendly.

Food was hot and delivered before estimated time. Tikka Masala was nice but the Korma had no flavour at all and half the poppadoms dark brown/overcooked.

Order from saagor before, food is usually to a very high standard. Meal delivered cold - most items need reheating

Delivery was really early however the food quality of the Korma was so bland! Description says luxury creamy coconut…. I’m sorry it’s far from luxury. Tikka start was nice & somosas but let down by main dish the curry sorry!

Meal was nice, but we were missing our poppadoms. Rang the restaurant and all they offered was to give me free ones next time. Not planning on ordering again due to the lateness - over 25 mins late (the optional review thing won’t let me select more than 5 mins late).

this restaurants has the best food and service in all of cardiff/penarth. i have been getting food from there for years and they never dissapoint. i picked up some keema rice today and when i got home i realise it’s not as flavourful as it usually is, so i rang them and told them so they made me a fresh one and delivered it to me free of charge. no other restaurant/takeaway will beat the service you get from here. and the prices are very reasonable. i recommend ordering the weekday special (such a good deal), keema rice and the keema naan

I ordered for my elderly mum who absolutely loved the curry

Jalfrezi was awful. Just tasted of sugar and vinegar and the chicken was just scrappy bits no actual chunks. Similar to what you get in a Chinese curry. Won't be rushing back

Chose here as stated delivery time as 25 mins. Took almost 2 hrs. By the time it arrived we were beyond hungry. Tried for a part refund since most is now in the bin but that was rejected. Furious. Will never ever order from here again. Not happy!

Been ordering from here for years. That was one of the best curries I've ever had.

Food taste is very very bad. I ordered non veg special biryani and pulav rice. However I got tasteless yellow color rice with tasteless mushrooms, yellow dried tasteless chicken piece and roasted tasteless lamb piece. I wondered how basmati rice flavour was also not coming.This is really great work.And pulav rice is just white plain rice.I kept it aside for my Dal tomorrow. Pathetic. How this much of rating possible ?. I'm so sorry.

Arrived in good time and nice and hot, but we had an extra portion of watery Korma-like curry sauce which we didn’t order and wonder if we were charged for this? The peshwari naans were pale and undercooked, they tasted more doughy rather than sweet and baked. Disappointed with the Tandoori prawns tasted nice and were quite hot and spicey, but hardly any prawns in the dish as mostly vegetables and onion which was not wanted and wasted. Not very good value for money. Popadoms were fine. Chicken Bhuna was ok, not much flavour for a medium hot curry. The King prawn masala was nice but very few prawns and mostly sauce. Coconut rice was more like Pilau rice was ok but not very much coconut flavour. We also got 2 pots of chopped onions which we didn’t like or want and disappointed that there was no chutney free with the dishes like they used to at our old Indian.
