Overpriced. Two luke warm toasties tea and coffee £13.99. Location was very handy, but next time will try the cafe at the main entrance.

I took a soup today. I waited at least 10 minutes.. And it was too hot.. Furthermore I think is a theft to pay 5 pounds for half cup of a soup..

This is a very clean little cafe situated in Phase One of the hospital. The staff are friendly and helpful and the coffee/tea is very good!

Great for visitors and patients to stop off for a decent drink. A bit overpriced for what it is, but better having an expensive cafe in a location like this than not at all. Fair play as it’s staffed by volunteers naturally enough, so hats off to them. The old tall guy and his apprentice would do better to remember it’s a hospital as he’s forever just along from the entrance smoking, not a nice welcome having to pass that to get in.

It really does depend on time of day and volunteer as to service/ product knowledge . Alright for a quick takeaway

This is a handy little cafe for hot & cold drinks & a quick bite to eat. Also good for buying things to any patients you are visiting. Kept clean & tidy by pleasant staff.

I had a hospital appointment recently and had to park in the top car park thus entering the hospital near this cafe. On the way out we called in for coffee - it's spotlessly clean, very reasonably priced and with a very friendly staff - all volunteers! Great place!

I am full of admiration for the volunteers in this well run cafe, hardworking and friendly the tables are spotlessly clean and cleared as soon as people vacate them . Serving a range of hot and cold food for breakfast lunch and dinner . Ideal for visitors and patients alike . Serving great cappuccinos this is a busy cafe handy for visitors at the phase 1 end of the hospital

The food was great and had a nice and relaxed atmosphere, very enjoyable lunch on our way home. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

So disappointed, we've been to the Byers road Zizzis many a time and it's a family favourite. We were expecting the same and were sorely disappointed. Thankfully we had booked a table in advance however the place didn't seem busy. The manager who greeted us was great and he was really attentive. However after being taken to the table we were passed to the waiting staff and things went downhill. No-one came near us for a drinks order and we were left waiting for 20 minutes until someone came to take the food order, we then had to prompt them to take a drinks order. The waiting staff were abrupt and had no nicety about them. One was ridiculously rude when they brought food to the table that we hadn't ordered. When the food came it was lovely and couldn't complain about the kitchen at all, it was tasty and of a great standard. Over all the place looks nice, the food was lovely, but the waiting staff we dealt with were rude and unwelcoming.

We had a bad experience at this place. We went around 10 pm for drinks as we were told this place is opened till 11pm. But the staff and shift supervisor told us they are closed as there was no guests and they were not professional to welcome us. It was very obvious from their voice and look that they didn't want to serve us. Me, my brother and our teen children were visiting Scotland and it was very harsh to see such unprofessional and weird customer service. It was also obvious from their approach that they were mean to our color of skin and not happy to see color customers. Even though we talk about diversity but still people are not mentally and emotionally accept the diversity.

Dear God. Didn’t think this place could get worse but it has. Not enough staff, tables not cleared, no water in hot water urn, no clean mugs, no milk in coffee machine and the one poor staff member totally run off his feet trying to cope eventually collapsed with the stress of it all. Ambulance was called so I do hope the poor man is okay. Absolutely appalling that Morrisons management have let this go on for so long! Staff your cafe or shut it down!! We sat for an hour and a half and dud not receive our order especially after staff member collapsed. Werent offered a refund as till couldn’t be opened???? But were given a had written credit note for a free meal next time. After a second disastrous visit to this cafe I’m not sure I would return again!! Management get it sorted!!!
