I had the sweet n sour Cantonese style pork with fried rice The sweet n sour pork was pretty bland and the rice wasn't up to much either We had beef noodles with curry sauce and that was rather good

Had our meal from here tonight and omg it was delish and absolutely huge portions. My belly is happy and I still have half of it left lol

Best Chinese restaurant in Glenrothes and Markinch by far. Always fresh ingredients, great taste and presentation. Having tried all the other local Chinese restaurants this is our favourite. We get a take away every week and have never been disappointed! (I suspect the negative reviews are more likely from competitors who just can’t compete!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Apparently open on a Monday, try to order on the app and it was rejected. Drove to the shop at it was shut.

Just received my order from home taste in south Parks. And I am disgusted, they added onions to my order when I asked not to, watery curry, I live with a chef, and she checked it and it’s not even chicken!! It’s turkey, and won’t even give me a refund. Rice wasn’t even cooked either.

Just been in tonight, beef curry was absolutely minging, certainly was beef used, curry was tastless, food if you could call it that went in bin won't be back waste of money

Worst service I’ve ever had from a take away. The woman was so rude. Food was not good. I ordered salt and pepper chips but there is not pepper in chip when I Complaint they start arguing and throw the food and after that when I ask for money back my god she start shout on me .never ever come back be careful ❗️

Had delivery. Found a bit brillo pad, steel wool, in noodles.

Worst service I’ve ever had from a take away. Phoned to ask when I would receive my order and the women was so rude on the phone just telling me to cancel rather than explaining if it would be 10 minutes or 20 minutes Stay clear

Used to go all the time then changed it up when they put a min of £20 however, we went again due circumstances, ordered for collection 50 mins prior and it wasn't ready to then receive salt and pepper chips and curry sauce half portions., definitely won't be going again.

How do there think putting a order at 7pm and not getting it until 840 executable after I phoned at 8pm said it was ready be on next delivery so surely by 8.40pm it not hot

I would rate this minus 5 * if i could. Whatever you do - do not order anything for delivery from this place unless you're planning for a meal in about 3 days. Having to go out to collect and the only reason I'm not cancelling is because I have hungry children who wanted a treat. Not even waiting until I taste the food as the abysmal service will trump anything

Well to all the negative reviews I've read don't know what the problem is, absolutely brilliant meal and got it over the counter in record time 👍

First time Tring this new place and it was lovely so went back couple of days later

Excellent service long waiting time but food is always good

Food usually has been up to a good standard, however, I feel this has slipped lately. Last few home deliveries have taken around TWO HOURS to arrive and the food has been lukewarm, I had put this down to a bad day at the office but this is now a regular occurrence. Disappointed as I've always recommended Home Taste, certainly can't do that anymore and will not be using them again.

Shocking time to wait for a meal always over 2hrs delivery thought I was just unlucky the first time but this is now the 3rd time , no longer using there's Chinese places that are far more reliable with delivery times almost 3hrs tonight for our delivery

I would recommend if you are picking up as the food is good. I won't risk a delivery again. The new app is poor and waiting 90mins for your food is too long. They have left the justeat platform and on to a new app. The new app doesn't tell you how long the food will be until you have ordered. The new app wasn't that clear that I had paid or even had ordered. I ended up calling to confirm my order had been accepted. It's a nice clean place with good food and friendly staff however let down with long delivery times and poor app.

I'm not sure it's my mum that goes there so I wouldn't be able to help on this one sorry.

Phoned my delivery at 6.45 i am still waiting and it is 21.55. Phoned twice to be told its on way shocking service

Order a meal which was delivered to the wrong address. I used the home taste app and although I selected my address, it was delivered to my partners address which is also registered on the app. The delivery was left on the step and the driver was in their car and gone by the time the recipient was at the door. I called and explained that the person that it was delivered to was isolating due to having covid yet the manager insisted that the only way they would make a fresh one and send it out was if they went and picked up the other one which could be contaminated by covid. I questioned what they would have done with that food. Since it was already 2 hours since I ordered and I didn't want the recipient to get disturbed more by driver coming to get, now cold food which could have been spreading covid I told them to leave it. Won't be ordering again, shame cause the food is great however considering they are happy to risk the driver getting covid and the order being taken back to shop where it could spread further due to their mistake, I would question their hygiene.

vegetable curry was delicious, packed full of veg, delicious curry sauce too. Quick delivery.

The food from this place is absolutely amazing. The problem is with delivery or collection. Phoned for collection at a certain time which they agreed but they didn't start cooking it until we got there. Maybe they've been stung in the past. Ordered a delivery last weekend at 7.30pm. Ended going to collect it at 8.50pm. But as mentioned, food is second to none. Will try them again and will edit/update this review accordingly.

Best Chinese take away I had and tasted for a very long time, had a delicery and a pick up and food arrived hot and fresh. Can't say anything more than - delivious !!!

Lovely fresh food. I would recommend phoning to order first as everything is cooked fresh it can take some time. But quality of food and value for money here is great.

I order on just eat and it was 1 hour and 40 mins late and i phoned the shop and they said for an hour that it was out with the driver and i live in woodside and when it was delivered they said my order was delivered to another house in the same street

Girl taking the orders standing talking about customers to other customers, refusing to even enquire about a simple request. Acting like she owns the place. Very unprofessional.
