Love coming here for lunch. Great home made food and always a variety to choose from. Unlike alot of nearby veggie/vegan cafes everything is very reasonably priced! Great selection of snacks and cakes, an all round brilliant little cafe. Always very friendly and welcoming, top service.

Ruthie’s is a wonderful little gem in the wonderful Rosemount area of Aberdeen. I visited in the spring & had breakfast/lunch food & made sure to stop back during my New Year visit. It’s difficult to pick which delicious dish/smoothie I will have - I ended up this last time - adding a to go order! Ruthie is a delight & cooks right on the spot - sooooo good!

This cafe is great! I stumbled on it by accident but I'm very glad I did. It's small and cosy, and the lady was very friendly and double checked about dietary requirements. The 5-bean burrito (£5.50) came with tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa, and it was a perfect warming dish for a January afternoon.

We called in for brekky on a Sunday morning, almost by accident (it’s around the corner from a laundromat). It’s a tiny place, and lovely. I also had to warn my husband - it’s a vegetarian establishment. The latte’s were good - smooth and strong enough; and our cooked brekky’s were just right (I had the mushrooms on toast and my husband had two nicely poached eggs). Very good value - £15.

I've been here several times and the food is excellent. It's a small place offering a range of vegetarian/vegan wraps and sandwiches as well as delicious macaroni cheese and a range of coffees. The menu changes pretty regularly to add different flavours. The service is excellent: very friendly and quick. There are seats inside and outside, too, weather permitting. The café is open during the day and at weekends until 4pm. Worth visiting more than once.

Discovered this by accident, even though it's local to my mum's. Vegetarian and vegan food, drinks and home bakes. We had garlic mushrooms with thyme on sourdough toast and the 5 bean burrito - both were good portions for £5.50 apiece and delicious. There are vegan tray-bakes and people who are intolerant to gluten are catered for in some dishes. You can see the food being cooked and it all looked to be freshly made. Friendly service and definitely worth a visit for any vegetarian.

The Frogmoon is a stand out cafe in Aberdeen, don't be put off by the small walk from Union Street. There is a great atmosphere with wonderful staff. We both had the pesto sandwich along with some desserts all of which was delicious. We will be back soon.

February 2025 update. The gluten-free menu is great. Full sized gluten free bread! We love the choice of gluten-free cake and gluten-free scones too. Delicious cooked breakfast. Great to support local businesses.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time after Bonobo shut down. I was highly disappointed. I had the tofu scramble wrap and the banana and date smoothie. Both were disgusting! Probably the worst wrap I have ever had. I rather eat a tesco houmous and falafel wrap. It was BLAND and the tiny bit of flavour it did have tasted strange. The smoothie wasn't any better. Again bland and tasted strange. Also pretty pricey for horrid food. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but I would definitely not recommend. Won't be going back unfortunately. I don't leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed that I felt I had to.

Nice part of Spital, and privately quiet in old Aberdeen, it has an upstairs bar for privacy too, nice old school royal green surgical 💚 leather seating against the walls too.
