I had a cooked breakfast which was a full plate including toast. They quite happily swapped one ingredient for another. My wife had pancake and bacon which she enjoyed. All this along with tea and coffee was under 20 which today is great value. Staff friendly and attentive.

Waffles and coffee... a very very pleasant experience indeed. A lovely place for a wee snack ette. Staff are pleasant and prices reasonable.

What a lovely hotel and the staff are amazingly helpful. The room is amazing clean and very spacious, I have stayed on the island many times over the years but this place is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Stay here a million times better than the Sefton, it's a great location absolutely fantastic.

203 King Street, Castle DouglasWe popped in here for some breakfast before heading home. The staff were lovely and the menu had a good variety to choose from. The food was very tasty and portions were very generous at very reasonably prices compared to other places around, we definitely will pop in again when we're back in the area!

57-59 St. Michael StreetWent here while on a golf trip. Great bar with fantastic staff. Can’t do enough for you. Ended up here both nights. Brilliant. 👍🏻👍🏻
