Great welcome, varied menu, superb food which is very well presented, very nice atmosphere and environment and excellent dessert and coffee to finish a beautiful meal!

What a lovely hotel and the staff are amazingly helpful. The room is amazing clean and very spacious, I have stayed on the island many times over the years but this place is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Stay here a million times better than the Sefton, it's a great location absolutely fantastic.

Best food I’ve eaten in Dumfries hands down. Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and great company. Not to be missed.

Just had lunch at Jinty-B's in Thornhill, Dumfriesshire. Gorgeously quirky, comics wallpapering the cafe, great home-made toasties & cake, hot tea & coffee & everything is immaculate. Perfect for family groups & very dog friendly.

Great wee cafe. Good food and friendly quick service. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
