Rushley in Mansfield

My son treated me and his dad to a big breakfast and it was very filling and delicious. We all ate every last bit. The people who served us, Lisa and Rachel were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. I highly recommend anyone to go and have a meal or even a drink there.

Really pleasant place to go with dogs and for a pub tea. Highly recommend. Such nice bar staff too. Ethan served us. Great service.

Our first visit. We appreciate the fridge, and one of the ovens had broken down just as we arrived, but the service was very slow. There was no update until we asked what was happening. Well over 1hr had gone by without any food until we enquired. The staff were friendly but the food was not a good quality. It looked like it had been pre-cooked well before it was served. I don't like posting negative reviews, but a bit more communication from the staff would have helped.

I’ve been to the Rushley a few times. The food is lovely. The drinks are lovely. There’s a few staff that are great. The times I’ve just popped in for a drink there’s always 3 staff on but only 1 doing any work. Taking you longer to get served. Only advise I’d give is hiring good people that you want to represent your brand not a melt in a hoodie cleaning a few tables and picking a few glasses up. Hire people old enough to serve legally without being supervised.

Looks tired, service was friendly but very slow, a few things missing off the food and drinks menu, food was not great when it finally arrived, as if it has been waiting a long time under hot lamps to be brought out. Took so long to arrive could not return it as too hungry by then. Embarrassed to have taken my family there as a treat.

Visits tonight (Monday evening) bar was relaxed and a good experience for the family with the option for my daughter to play in the play. Always a nice experience and reasonably priced. Can't fault the nice wide choice of typical food and nice drinks. Staff are always good too from previous visits. Nice honest food and a good pints and wide selection of other drinks for a good price. Served today by Tiff and Rach

Excellent service when ordering and serving. Friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Food choices are great and always tasty and ample portion sizes. We have now become regular visitors at least once a week and even take our pet dog who is always welcomed. We would recommend and a BIG thank you to Rachael.

Only dropped in to ask about an item I'd lost, yet still the service was still amazing! A nice team. Thank you. Now I'm tempted to return and actually spend money. 💷😊

Came in for tea with my daughter on a Monday evening. The pub wasn’t super busy so had a nice calm atmosphere. Menu had good veggie options and more choice on the kids menu than a lot of places. We ordered from our table which was really easy using the QR code. Service was extremely quick. We were through 2 courses in less than an hour. Food was nice. All in all a pleasant experience.

I was served today by Rachel as I have been many times previously. Friendly and efficient, someone who you can have a banter with. See you again soon 😃

Lovely friendly staff, fabulous food

Today we were served by Tiff and Lisa , lovely service and went above and beyond for our elderly Nanna.

After having just been to a funeral service around the corner, around 20 or 30 of us dropped in with no notice to the staff. I had tried to ring and left a message, but apparently the messages don't go through to the pub. However, the staff there were pleasant and friendly and served everything as quickly as possible, and graciously let us take over a slightly more private space in the restaurant area. Those who decided to offer food enjoyed their meals and they were also served quickly. Thanks to them for allowing us to have an evening in memory of my brother.

Lovely place, nice relaxed atmosphere, had to knock it down a star because the food took a long while to get served. But the food itself was amazing, had the fish and chips. Mmmm. Good sized fish in batter and perfect chips, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. No complaints there. They also have a dedicated gluten free menu. So bring your Celiac friends! Haha

I ordered a rump steak medium cooked it came very well done the peas were cold chips overcooked tomato cold no one came to ask if meal was ok I wasn't going to go to the bar and make a spectacle my sisters meal.was the same very disappointing took quite awhile for the meal to come the only good thing was the wine

Came over after getting really bad customer service somewhere else and we were blown away. The variety on the menu for a pub was amazing, every interaction with the staff was friendly from bringing the drinks to clearing our plates and the food came out so quickly without sacrificing quality or taste. Officially my favourite place in Mansfield!

Had an amazing meal with my family. Ordered Pizza, cheesey garlic bread and loaded fries. The servers Rachel and Tiff was very friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly after ordering. The pub has an amazing atmosphere and my daughter enjoyed to toy machines and play area. Overall had an amazing experience with incredible food and will definitely be visiting again.

Really lovely morning, we got here before the kitchen opened and had a couple of cups of tea. We are nursing students and the manager showed us to a table that’s got a plug close by and explained the WiFi. We were made to feel very welcome and when the kitchen opened the food was fresh and delicious. Emily served us really well too. Can’t fault it! And it’s dog friendly in the bar area. 👌🏻

A good friendly pub, staff are friendly. Always busy at the weekend. Nice to see Gold and Blonde Beer on cask as opposed to the usual day fayre. The only negative thing Id say is you need more staff on the bar at peak busy times.

However, I had to go to the bar to request our drinks 20 minutes after ordering. The tickets had been taken from the ticket machine and left sitting on the back bar 😕
