I recently had an incredible experience at Rushley. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my visit. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the lovely drinks! It was absolutely top-notch, showcasing remarkable quality and attention to detail. I also appreciated the poppy jars, which added to the overall enjoyment of my time there. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone! I can't wait to return and experience it all over again!

Served on the bar by Rach! Amazing service and staff! always feel welcomed definitely would recommend to others. Reasonably priced drinks and food especially if you use the midweek deals!

Lovely pub, great food. We just popped in for drinks today. Was served by Rach. Very friendly and inviting :) Food is always nice , served fast and a decent price range too. Outdoor area to sit and a park for the kids to play on. 5*

Ordered currys but the plate was full of water from the currys and there was no taste to them at all

Came in the area for work for a few weeks. Ate and had a few drinks pretty much every night. The food is good, service is spot on and great bar selection. Special thanks to Tracey for a great service!

Visited on 18.10.24 and it was brilliant!! Great service by Tracey, always a massive smile and the warmest welcome by her. The Rushley is amazingly decorated for Halloween, definitely recommend bringing the kids!! Me and my partner had the ultimate chicken burger and oh myyyy it was gorgeous. Defo recommend!! 😁 I'll be visiting again very soon

I booked a table for my wife and I and when we got there they could not find the booking which I stipulated was a 20 year wedding anniversary. We had to chose a table ourselves and advised we could order from the app which I proceeded to do via the App which failed so I went to the till and ordered there, the steak was chewy my wife’s chicken was dry. We were not impressed at all with anything.

We held an informal wake here after a funeral. Whilst we hadn't booked, there was a large table available. For anyone else thinking of a wake at this time of year, bear in mind the Halloween decoration include a coffin 🙈😂 We found it funny, but others may find it difficult. Staff were great. We ordered a few of the 'small bite' plates which went down well It's been over 40 years since I was last here, but will definitely eat here next time we are passing.

Went to the rushley today, food was very nice, the atmosphere was great, Rachel was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, I would highly recommend it, Vicky was our chef tonight and she had a smile for us and the food was on point

Visited on a Monday evening for something to eat with the partner. Staff were very polite and attentive. Food was normal pub grub, which we could not fault and was good value for money. Would happily visit again.

Amazing food we tend to come here a few times a week never been disappointed. The atmosphere is really good. Bar staff are very welcoming. Tracey is doing a fantastic job 🙂

Daughter took me for a birthday treat with my grandchildren and wife. A very spacious place with plenty of tables. The food was very good much better than the usual pub grub some establishments concoct and try to pass off as freshly prepared. A nice table service as well. I would certainly go again we were all impressed even the children and they can be fussy eaters at times! I was surprised that they weren’t more busy given the quality of the food.

Waiting time for food in Tuesday late evening was 50 min. So it's not so great but food was very delicious. Recommended

Rachel was very friendly, despite having a constant queue of people. She made usbfeel very comfortable and was smiling throughout. Our last visit was a little less impressive, but this made up for it.

It was my first visit and I where blown away the restaurant was beautiful, the staff where friendly and helpful they greeted you with a smile first impression 10/10. We said we had a table booked and she was like I knew you came for some food you could tell, we'll that made my family laugh which was much need with the week I had. The meal was quick warm delicious and great portions. I can't wait to go again

Really nice food, good service, the pub itself is very tired and in need of a refurb. The handrails on the outside steps have rotted away, so much so, my partner picked up a wood splinter from them. Very dangerous, health & safety issue.

Used to visit the rushley on a regular basis when we lived in Mansfield. Slowly started to go downhill with service and food became dull and bland. Moved away for few years. Didn't visit in the time we were away. Came in on Tuesday for drinks after a funeral. And decided to eat. Not expecting much but wow what a change. The food has its spark back and the service is great again. Well done .8 people on a down day all were very happy with the choice and quality of food and drinks.

First time me and my partner dined here and I can honestly say this is my favourite pub in Mansfield. Had a very warm welcome by all staff, in particular Tracy. Food was spot on and super tasty. That tasty we was considering ordering more meals after we had already had mains!! It was cosy and warm. All staff were friendly and all had a smile on their faces. Other customers were happy and comfortable. Which is the perfect and welcoming atmosphere I love to walk into especially somewhere new I haven’t tried before. It’s also lovely to see it’s dog friendly and is wheelchair accessible too! If you’d like a warm, welcoming and friendly place to dine this is the go to place by far. All the staff deserve a praise and recognition for their hard work. Well done team!! I’ll be definitely be returning again 😁
