Rump N Ribs Steakhouse in Manchester

Had the ribs and a T-bone steak well done. All was cooked to perfection and tasted great, the sides of peppercorn sauce and steak cut chips were nice too. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

Rude Management and Disappointing Experience Ordered Rump and manager Asif keep recomending its chew and welldone dont made right, I asked him twice for rump and then he said that chose another one( sounds they're out of stock). I went for t-bone. Food marination and spices were right but It was very mild on few part, when I asked him it is not welldone and he said they don't do welldone and arguing. That sounds stupid but next table ordered the same steak well done. I gave my steak back and ordered burger but manager was so nice he didn't chaged us for burger i ate but charged for steak that i didn't ate, what truly ruined the evening was the rude and dismissive behavior of the manager, His attitude was shockingly disrespectful, making the situation even worse. It was clear that customer service was not a priority.

Took my family out for a meal, my son was really looking forward to the ribs. Upon arrival Asif mentioned there's no ribs and then he saw my son's face he immediately made arrangements for him! He didn't have to but did, whatta gentlemen! Great staff, great food, great service.

The owner is truly amazing, he gave me and my mum the most delicious cheesecake on the house. The ribs are also the best I’ve ever had. They fall off the bone and are packed with flavour. I always tell my friends to come here.

Came here for a birthday meal today. Had the the 10oz ribeye steak with green peppercorn sauce, mash and coleslaw Food was lovely, it arrived quickly and the customer service was great. If you want a steak; this is the place to come.

Food was delicious and came out really quick. The prawns were so tasty and so were the ribs (literally melted In your mouth). Owner and staff were really attentive and lovely. We will be back again.

Curteous staff. Manager Atif very helpful. Very clean. Food order taken within 5 minutes. Drinks arrived in 4 minutes. Food was hot and delicious. We had the prawn starter Haloumi starter and chicken wings starter All delicious and piping hot We had a Fillet steak. Ribeye steak and A Rump with chips and garlic mushrooms. All cooked to individuals requests perfectly. Delicious Mocktails. Well worth a visit

The manager Asaf was absolutely fantastic and gave great customer service. The food was shockingly delicious and Asaf helped us choose this. 100 percent recommend this place. I had a great time, thank you. Staff so friendly and approachable. Great humour too.

Asif was absolutely amazing!! Spent my birthday here and was very welcomed by all staff and they gave me the best time ever! The food was beyond amazing, all our plates were clean, everyone was extremely hospitable and we were more than satisfied with the experience we had. Will definitely be coming back next year!

Rude Management and Disappointing Experience My family and I recently visited after booking a reservation over the phone and driving 45 miles, only to be told upon arrival that the restaurant had run out of food. While this was already frustrating, what truly ruined the evening was the rude and dismissive behavior of the manager, Asif. He offered no apology or explanation, instead speaking to us in a condescending and unprofessional manner. His attitude was shockingly disrespectful, making the situation even worse. It was clear that customer service was not a priority. Our special night out was ruined, and we certainly won’t be returning.

So, checked the restaurant on google and trip advisor and as it was early thought we would be able to have a family meal, up for the day from London visiting my nephew. Long story short, they had a sign on the window saying no prams or pushchairs. Why not just put it on your website to save us the trip. Chose not to order a takeaway. Find a space within the restaurant or at the back to store pushchairs. Missed out on the ribs. Maybe next time.

Lovely food and super meats. Lovely service by the staff and manager too as very warm and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you like well cooked meats.

I don't understand why people gave bad reviews on this fantastic restaurant, the owner is super friendly and even accommodating our special request, the buffalo ribs is magnificent but buffalo lamb chop is on another level. He was sharp during busy hours but that's understandable for such busy restaurants

I had a great time here, the owner is a great guy. The food is top notch. The portions are large, gives value for money. The service is great, took about 3 mins to get mocktail, 6 to get the starter and 7 minutes after the starter for the main meal which was freshly prepared after I placed the order. It can get a bit busy over the weekends so please make a reservation.

Every time I’ve come here, it’s got worse. To start, they were out of ribs despite it only being 8pm. We got charged £40 for 4 wings and 6 prawns and the mains were poorly cooked even after the owner had to get Involved to get it out because the waiters got confused. The mash was nice though 😕

The owner/ manager comes across extremely obnoxious and isn’t pleasant at all upon entering, he potentially had a bad day, expected a lot better, but food was okay

The ribs were decent but the steaks, lamb chops and wings left a lot to be desired. The service was awful and they talk in a very condescending manner. When giving feedback, the rude lady at the desk just shrugged her shoulders.

Sensational food and service by the gents here at Rump and Ribs. We had the combo platter for 2 and every single item on it was to die for, especially the beef ribs. Moving on to the mains, the steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare as requested with a well seared crust.

Server is pushy on ordering sides, sauces, and drinks. Owner seems obsessed with money. Steaks are pricey, extra charge to put a sauce on it and another charge to add a side to it. 10% service charge on every table is absurd. Walked in because it was halal, but seeing how much they charge and how the owner walks around in his designer outfit turned me off completely. Would not recommend at all.

Had ribs to start, absolutely out of this world, meat fell off the bone, steak for main, melted in my mouth, whole meal was delicious, definitely will be back on our next vist to manchester. service was amazing, our waiter was lovely & the manager Atif was so friendly and professional, highly recommended. Only downside we felt terrible not having cash to leave a tip.

I would just like to give a shout out to this steak house, the food was on point 10/10 steak, the service was incredible, had an awesome family experience and the host was amazing, i would 100% recommend this place !!!

I researched about steak houses and decided to try this location with my husband and oh boy! The beef ribs is a 10/10, I 100% recommend. The manager Atif recommended I get this as a main as I wasn’t too keen on steak however I decided to try it as a starter and ending up buying another portion as takeout. The steaks were juicy, tender and as spicy as I wanted them. They’re also large and so filling. Loved it. However, I would have loved the steak to come with more sauces or even a trio of sauces. The service was top notch as well as the ambience. We’ll definitely be going back again especially for those beef ribs. 🤤🥵

I loved the ribs, they’re the absolute best!! They’re succulent and the BBQ sauce was amazing, highly highly recommended! The owner let us in although they were still not opened, took our orders and it was quick to come. Never tried the steaks but friends told me it was okay, not the best but not bad either. The staff were very accommodating and the seating was comfort and clean.

I recently visited Rump n Ribs with my family, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The steak was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection. Steak was like as thou I was chewing gum and cold, when asked to take the service charge off was bombarded with a ton of questions as thou I was in a interview 😅, the guy gave me some advice saying I shouldn't tell any restaurant to take off the service charge as they will remember me, so on that note I'll do you a favour and I won't be returning to your place anyway 👎

It's been my 3rd time visiting this place and it's very quickly become my no.1 go to steakhouse in Manchester, and I've tried them all! The food is incredible, the ribs are top quality and the steaks are cooked exactly how you request them every single time! If you ask for medium rare then that is what you will get, no excuses! Our waitress, Stacey (who recently celebrated a birthday milestone!) is extremely knowledgable when it comes to different steaks, how we should get them cooked and offers recommendations in getting them customised, too. She's amazing and whenever I visit any other steakhouse I hold their staff to her standards. The bossman, Asif, is also extremely accommodating and great all round. Even 20-30 mins after we had paid and left, I came back to ask him if there was a mosque nearby and he said we could use the prayer room in the restaurant instead. Of course no restaurant can always guarantee a 10/10 service and people's experiences are subjective, but every time I've been it's been an amazing experience. I pray Allah blesses this business with more Barakah and success. Allahumma Baarik. Can't wait to visit again!

Rude waiters! Stood on top of us very intimidating! When I asked if everything was okay, became aggressive and Told me I was talking rubbish! Don’t recommend at all!

I went with my friend for this amazingly wonderful juicy and flavoured steaks. I am really wondering why did it take so long for me to visit this place am sure this is now my go to place for steaks great atmosphere best part its 100% halal and you can go dine with your family and kids. I loved every bite of it.

an employee here over heard my younger sister, who is autistic and very picky with her food so struggles to eat in restaurants, talking about wanting garlic bread which wasn't on the menu. the employee, Asif i believe his name was, went out of his way to speak to her and made her what she wanted to eat himself to accommodate for her. excellent and attentive service and such a lovely deed.

Manager was very rude and waiter and the manager constantly kept asking us if we were sure about what he had ordered as they thought it was too much. When we ordered a variety of items to try as there was many of us. Didn’t appreciate the pestering and rude comments over the quantity of food we ordered.

Best BBQ Ribs in Manchester! I recently dined at Rump n Ribs Steakhouse and had the BBQ ribs, which were simply the best I have ever had. Amazing food and service, ribs and fillet steak were the best we got from there. We got the starter sharing platter for the 3 of us which had 2 of each item the manager overheard us say that we will just cut things up and share between us so he gave 3 of each item instead free of charge. Ordered Peppercorn sauce with the fillet and gravy that came with the lamb chops were really nice too. My friends enjoyed their ribeye I prefer the fillet we all loved the ribs! Mocktails were delicious too!

We are a group of UberDrivers friends went in this place and spent over £700. The next day, Saturday evening, I stopped in front of the place for 1 minute to pick up a customer. And the staff of the restaurant, a man around 45/50 years old with tattoos on his arm, started shouting at me telling me to move the car. They are rude,aggressive with a customer. I havent been harrased by anyone else like this and I find this behaviour unacceptable. You have lost a valuable customers

The steak here is really, really poor. Easily the worst I've had, and I've been to a lot of steak places. The whole thing ends up really dry, particularly the outside. The ribs were great, though, despite being overpriced for the portion size. Service was non existent, not once did the staff check up on us, instead they were stood around oogling peoples wives, including the owner. Not sure where they get the balls to add a 10% service charge when there was no service.

Abosultely disgusting management. The staff was rude from the moment we set foot in because we had water bottles. Rather than kindly telling us they weren't allowed, he snatched them and dashed them in the bin. When ordering we were a table of 2 ordering 2 big meals to share between the 4 of us, yet the server said we had to order 3 meals?? Since when was there a minimum order requirement?? They said it was due to seating space yet there were plenty of open spaces AND there was literally a couple next to us taking up a 4 seat table.

Absolutely appalling, I feel sick to my stomach to even give it a 1 star rating. From the beginning to the end the service was disgraceful. After entering they made up new policies and rules to make us order more food. We were told that our islamic wear was not accepted as it’s a multi faith business and he made snide remarks while we exited, I felt very uncomfortable and would never recommend to any family or couple. Visited for a friends birthday, we had a issue with one of the items in which the manager came to us and took it into consideration. It was very lovely as we were then given complimentary dessert on house. Manager was very lovely and a friendly service. Much appreciated

The venue is nice inside, and my friend and I did find parking across the road. It was great there was a prayer room. The food is pricey, though not matched by quality. It was nice but not worth the price tag. The manager Asif was slightly frosty in his speech and mannerisms. However, the worst thing was to see Asif speaking rudely to his own staff. With the kitchen being on open view, it means it's not hidden from us guests to the establishment. We visited as it was recommended. However, unfortunately, we won't be revisiting and can't recommend it to others.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming; however, the service was poor. The waiter that took our order had to confirm with us 3/4 times about what we wanted even then he came back a couple of mins later to confirm our order. So we ordered beef ribs and chicken supreme, The beef ribs were definitely good, tender and lovely. Had to buy the sides separately. The chicken supreme was extremely expensive for its value and tase 17£ for just some chicken and sauce with no SIDES. Pina colada was more like a tangy pineapple juice served in small glasses. Mint mojito was nice. They added 10% service fee as well which to me is weird because no extra ordinary service was provided as compared to other restaurants. Definitely far more pricy than it should be. Can be tried once for beef ribs

Had a lovely meal here recently with 2 friends. Service was friendly and swift. We all had the Buffalo Ribs after being shown them in the kitchen hatch and we were not disappointed with our choice. Tasty juicy tender meat falling right off the bone!

I came with my family and we were seated very fast. Manager Asif was great with us. The food was nice and just as we were told , the ribs were delicious! Overall, would definitely recommend. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special.

This place was a stone throw away from our airbnb and as we were hungry from our flight from Lisbon decided to have dinner. We were 4 adults and 1 infant and the host was so accommodating to make sure we had plenty of room. The menu would suit all taste but 3 of us all ordered the 11oz rump cooked to perfection at medium rare. It was tender Scottish beef and tasty. Our other diner opted for a burger and that was also cooked to order and was huge. A little different system they have is that you have to order all sides and gravy separately so you can choose as many or as little as you want so this will determine the overall price of your meal. I didn't mind this at all as sometimes you might get certain items included that you don't like. Also this is a non alcoholic restaurant but they do have mocktails on offer. Overall it was a good dinner experience.

I was really looking forward to this however I was disappointed to say the least! I don’t know how a steak house can make a fillet steak taste like rubber and chewy! (I got medium rare) I couldn’t cut through my steak and it really strandy is the best way I can describe it! Even the cheap steak I’ve had in the past haven’t been this bad and that’s saying something! Peppercorn sauce wasn’t nice either! For a place to have ribs in their name and not make them nice is beyond me! I did enjoy my mocktail and chips. I brought it to the managers attention but instead of taking it seriously he simply said nobody complained about their steaks before, so either he was lying or people who don’t know about their steaks dine here.

Came back here after years and the food is still faultless. Perfectly tasting and fresh so no complaints in that department. Got seated and served very quickly with minimal waiting time. The only reason I have downgraded the stars is because of the service. Once our food was nearing finishing and the waiters caught on to this, twice within 5 mins we were asked if we want our table clear and the bill was bought to us without asking. The whole rush at the end just felt like once you've eaten you need to go as they don't want people having a chilled time or a convo. It's order of working is come in, order, eat then leave at the quickest time possible and nobody likes to be rushed when you have a special night out or when your paying near enough £100+ for your food. Otherwise not a bad experience.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have chosen this restaurant as they don't serve alcohol but please don't let that put you off. We made a last minute booking and they were able to provide a table for 5. The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. We had quite possibly the best ribs I've ever had as a starter whilst we discussed football with the manager despite him being a united supporter. The starters were a sharing dish for two but we were given enough for the 5 of us to share. Mains were fantastic, the food killing the conversation as everyone enjoyed everything on their plates. Service from the waiting staff was efficient and delivered with a smile from the team. None of us needed anything more after the mains and the manager even took us over to the pub afterwards on the premise he needed to get some change. Really excellent food in a nice atmosphere and served by nice people. Will definitely go again and recommend to everyone who likes a great steak. Thanks for looking after us.

Came with my wife, respectfully sat her opposite me facing away from the waiters and other tables, the manager who was acting extremely weird came upto my table and told my wife to switch seats with me and said that the women should sit on the comfy seat, and towards the view of the rest of the restaurant.. he literally ordered for us and did not let us order our own food, he said I know better, btw the food that he ordered us was not nice at all, very friendly towards women and no respect at all, I never sit and write a review but feel that this was needed, would not recommend ag all, the words food experience I have ever had! Felt so uncomfortable the whole way throughout, we were even contemplating to just leave, we travelled all the way from Bradford...
