Love Rumbles fish and chip store.Good prices for what I have pie and chips £6.Cod and chips has become to pricey for me @ £12 for the large cod.

Great chip shop, food is always fresh and tasty, the kebabs are also nice and not greasy, fish is also 10/10, this is my go to chippy.

brilliant service and food as for the people that own it that served us have perfect manners and had a laugh definitely will be going back .

the staff are always so friendly and welcoming and the prices and portions are amazing. often get an extra sausage with what we order. only thing wrong is the odd chip tastes frozen still

Great fish and chips, they take the skin off which is fantastic! Large size portions, lots on the menu to choose from.

I have stopped for lunch hear a few times, but the quality of the food is not great, each time I have had chicken and chips, the chicken was clearly left overs from the previous day as the meat is dry and skin is too crispy to be freshly cooked that day. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. The owner is very friendly but the other staff don't seem very friendly or speak much English. Parking space is outside on the street. Wheelchair friendly.

The best chilli sauce I've ever tasted, and I've tasted a lot. Thanks for the extra scoop yesterday. Be back very soon.

Just bought 2 portions of the WORST CHIPS IVE EVER HAD!! every chip grey and anemic! And the battered sausage was so soggy and tasteless horrible! what a waste of money!

Friendly staff, efficient. Fish alway good. Chip portions unhealthily large. A small portion can easily last a sensible consumption for a couple for 2 decent meals.

I rarely travel to Chatteris, and when I do, it’s only to see my mates. I always go for fish and chips out there rather than the regular chicken and chips in London, however, ever since the new management at Rumbles, I think I’ll only be eating fish and chips wherever i go..

Order from here a bit last 3 times food missing quality of food gets worse every time menu has just gone in bin if your going to charge a lot for your food make it worth having will never order here again

Bought roast potatoes and chicken on the 22/8/23 , chicken was all bad smelling horrible has to throw all of it, went there today 24/8/23 to complain but they refused they didn't sold anything bad.Dont recommend it for anyone

Food tonight was the worst I have ever tasted and my chicken was inedible as not cooked properly. Never again and if I am ill I know where to go. Took a bite and checked it out it was grim. Whole family's meal was awful!

I had food with my 3 year old today and there was a hair in my food when said about it i was ignored.

Great food and portions but getting to expensive now.

Had fish chips and mushy peas this evening with family. It has massively gone downhill. Batter on the fish was dripping with fat that much so it was soggy and couldn't remove from paper without falling apart. Vile..the mushy peas had been watered down far to much with hardly any pea. Waste of money as most of it went in the bin. This place needs to think more of quality rather than quantity..disgusting will be to the one down the road from now on

I was quite shocked I don't normally buy fish and chips 10 pounds for a pensioner just on state pension 10 pounds would have bought to meals but I did enjoy them

Quality wasn't good yesterday, chips were soggy, kebab wrap wasnt even wrapped up well at all...no tin foil to seal it in either. Disappointed.

Our normal stop off on a Monday night after teaching. Cannot fault the food, we actually prefer their Fried chicken to some other large retail outlets who shall remain nameless. Always friendly, welcoming and clean.

Not great. Sausage and chips purchased, the chips were very crunchy. The salt was the wrong kind, like sand.. curry sauce wasn't very tasty. Sausage was good as was the service

Cash only, Tax write off more like. Our sunday chicken was dry and they had very little chicken, so with that in mind I assume it is saturday nights reheated leftovers. Oh and did i mention cash only? Pay your taxes!

Great chips, can be a bit greasy but otherwise everything is priced fairly and tastes great.

Anaemic, greasy chips, reheated and greasy fish - the batter was hard! 🤢 Recommended to us by multiple friends and I don’t see the rave as they were terrible, never again. We didn’t even eat it all and disposed of in the bin, pricey especially for such poor quality.

This place has some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The portion sizes are generous, fairly affordable, and the staff are very friendly. The shop area is spacious so there is plenty of room for social distancing,and there is a screen on the counter to protect staff and customers. It is also kept very clean as far ad I can tell. It is cash only but they have menus you can take with you. I would absolutely recommend Rumbles if you want a good chippy dinner. I haven't had any of the kebab options family who have tell me it is also great.

26/09/20- Ordered food with a drink, when it was delivered the drink wasn't there and when I got so far through my food found remains of a insect. This is the second time this has happened, both times with kebab order. Rest of the food was fine.

Probably the best chicken kebabs I've ever had, they're always really good and all cooked fresh to order. Decent prices, too.

I love this fish and chips shop. Guys always polite. And if you're goes before closing time, you going to get extra of something.

The staff are chatty and welcoming. Their food is good value and good quality - with lots of it! We always order on the phone and collect in 15 minutes. Just wish that they took contactless payment. Yes, I would definitely recommend Rumbles.

Visited Rumbles this evening, We had not had fish and chips for 7 weeks so popped in here on the way home from shopping. Fish was greasey and the soggy batter was falling off the fish. The Chips were dry and chewy if there is such a thing. Most of it went in the bin. I absolutely won't be visiting again. Total waste of money.

Beautiful food and great staff and atmosphere

This is a great shop have been using for 5 years now since we moved to chatteris. Everything is well cooked with very generous sized portions. we have tried most things on their menu and have always been pleased with our takeaways. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and provide a speedy service. We visit the shop at least once a week and would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone.

Was the best for a long time,called in last week chicken kebab and cod ok if you was staving, chips just a bag of slop,wont be returning.

Been using Rumbles for years and have always rated their chicken. Ordered 2 chicken burgers and a chicken wrap tonight and EVERY piece of chicken was undercooked with blood spots. Luckily we noticed before my pregnant friend ate it. Wont be using again, have lost my custom.

We had a party for 40 people and asked Rumbles if they could cater fish and chips or sausage and chips for it - turned out perfect! All they asked was that we confirm numbers the night before which wasn’t a problem. They turned up right on time (we live locally, I don’t think they’d usually delivery but not sure) with stacks of hot, fresh, fish and chips all individually wrapped. The portions were huge and we’ve had so many comments about how good the fish was. Really impressed with the quality given the number of portions we ordered.

I’m sorry to swear, but this restaurant is absolutely crap, the staff are terrible, while i was eating my fat disgusting Fish, i realised it tasted like John Hearn, while i was eating, i noticed that the staff were continuously staring at me. There was no reason to stare at me, as far as i was concerned. THEY JUST CONTINUED!

The fish is really big and the chips a generous helping. The kebabs are also very tasty with all the cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cucumber etc.

Was good quality food however only negative us that loads of food has already been cooked off and was being kept warm, ordered 2 large chips, chicken bits, battered sausage, pie and burger and was all ready in less than 5 mins was a little surprised but tasted ok, would have preferred to wait extra 5-10 mins to get it cooked fresh

Ordered online and was given the price but when we went to the shop we were told that the price was £10 more when we went to pick up the food.
