Ordered two pizzas through Uber eats and the dips didn’t arrive. We were really looking forward to these as they compliment the pizzas. Restaurant unwilling to send a replacement and now have to wait for Uber eats to give us a refund. For £40 for two pizzas it is unacceptable.

One of the best Margherita pizzas I’ve ever had. Just note for anyone on a halal diet- they use pig fat in their Parmesan so ask for regular cheddar instead.

I've been here on numerous occasions but I'll be honest today wasn't the best whilst i am a dog/pet owner I was a bit confused as to how they allow dogs into a restaurant, i was sat with my family and there were too dogs on another table ,the owners were feeding it from the table which in a restaurant I find bizarre, the then the dogs wanted to get to as food had just arrived, I find it odd that this is acceptable !! And how environmental health inspectors would think this is OK I'm sorry but this is Not OK!!!! I will not be returning

Pizza does not get any better than this. Or to put it another way. If you like authentic Italian Pizza, you need to try a Rudy's. If your idea of pizza is a dry Dominos stuffed crust or Chicago Town type of thing, you may not appreciate this thin, moist and almost delicate kind of pizza which is truly authentic of real Italian Pizza. But this is a great place to go. They even have their own branded beer/lager or iPA. Highly recommend and probably the best pizza I've had now that Margeris in Lichfield has closed down.

Had a lovely pizza here. Be warned the portions are very large and can definitely be shared comfortably between 2. However I was solo dining and had to take a bag home lol. Great service, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Oh, where do I even begin with the disastrous pizza experience that unfolded before me? Picture this: a pizza that was promised to arrive at 4:40 PM, but decided to take a leisurely stroll through the Antarctic before gracing us with its presence at 5:30 PM. Yes, you read that right - a full 50 minutes late, as if our hunger had all the time in the world to spare. When it finally arrived, this poor excuse for a pizza was colder than a polar bear’s toenails. I swear, even the Titanic would shudder at the thought of being associated with this iceberg of a pizza. The cheese had congealed into a sad, lifeless mess, and the crust could have doubled as a frisbee in a pinch. To add insult to injury, we summoned the courage to call the restaurant, only to be met with Isabella, the manager or should I say the Queen Of Denial. Her condescension and rude demeanor were enough to make even a seasoned grump like Ebenezer Scrooge blush. Instead of owning up to their epic fail, she deftly passed the blame onto poor Deliveroo, as if they were the unsung villains in this tragicomedy of errors. Isabella, if you're reading this, take a long hard look at your pizza kingdom and ask yourself - is this the legacy you want to leave behind? A cold, tardy pizza with a side of excuses? As for the rest of you brave souls, tread carefully when venturing into this pizzeria of nightmares. May the odds of receiving a hot and timely pizza be ever in your favor.

Great food! Love Neapolitan style pizza so many flavours and options to choose from. The service was good but I noticed the waiters fingers touching the pizza as he served it. Since the pizza is too big for the plate it is served in. This is rather disgusting since the same waiter was seen touching his face and hair and collecting dirty plates without washing hands. Great atmosphere, inside the restaurant and outside area is nice too. With lamps/heaters to keep warm. It’s not that expensive, but costs can rack up if you add sides but you don’t need them since the pizza is filling enough in its own.

Always such friendly staff, great prices and amazing food

This was my first visit to Rudy's and I was left with a really warm and pleasant feeling. I was served by both Milly & Isabella and both were really superb. Milly was the one I interacted with mostly and she went out of her way to sort things out so that I really enjoyed the experience. Having worked in the food business before I could see how well the staffs are trained by the business. There is just something special about a company that puts in the effort to train people to put the customer first. It really showed on my visit. The food was amazing. I think you have to understand what true Italian pizzas from Naples are. It is not the stodgy filler stuff you get from Pizza Hut or Dominoes. A true pizza is a thin base with light cheese and toppings that is oven baked. Rudy’s have genuine Italian Forno gas ovens. It is apparent in the quality of the pizzas. I miss not being in Italy and especially Naples. But this is easily the closest I have ever come to a true Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy. The drink I had was a Sour Peach Negroni Sbagliato - Campari, Tanqueray, Martini Rosso, peach syrup, fresh lemon, prosecco. It was super nice. Rudy's, is on the corner of Harborne High Street and St Johns Road. There is a low fee parking lot on St Johns Road , behind the Sainsburys aswell as plenty of free road parking if you can find a spot on the local streets. I really struggle to find fault and I Highly Recommend eating here. I shall get some photos on soon.

Nice place, great food - my picky grandson loved it. Service was poor, we ordered my grandsons food upon entering and it arrived last. The place was empty, but the person at the was specifying that we could spend an hour at the place. Please get real. I'll give a miss next time. The staff appeared to be in Dreamworld.

I suppose this review is more reflective of the company/chain than the Harborne branch; overall a nice local experience but have issues with the company not listing allergens online or providing an allergen menu when looking at the menu. Attended a few months ago to celebrate my birthday, we had looked at the menu in advance but unfortunately could only have 2-3 of the pizzas and 2-3 options for starters as the majority of food "may contain nuts" and my husband has a severe nut allergy. The allergies were checked after we'd received drinks and decided which food we wanted, so we had to re-choose. The pizzas we ordered were lovely and the service was fine so I'm glad we've tried it but was disappointed to not be able to order much for a celebration meal. He'd we known, we would'nt have chosen to celebrate there. Such a shame as well, as most fresh pizzas in other restaurants don't have this unnecessarily issue (why would nuts be involved with pizza?) and have suppliers which can provide a tomato base (apparently that was the culprit) which isn't at risk of being contaminated with nuts.

Good pizza as I'm always happy with the food. Service was great as there was someone asking a couple of times if everything is ok. We've been sitting outside so can't tell much about inside but from a quick look it was fine. What's not that good is that you have to pay for parking but it's not that expensive

I’ve been here multiple times lately and have to say Rudy’s hands down does the most authentic “soupy” Neopolitan pizza in the UK with the soft centre and thin dough. The portobello mushroom pizza is lovely as a vegetarian. The Harborne branch has the best customer service out of the three Birmingham branches I’ve visited, and it’s generally less busy so I prefer it. The staff are always really friendly and attentive, very organised and welcoming!

This is a great place with very good pizza and friendly helpful staff. A fantastic place for a birthday celebration.

I attended the restaurant yesterday evening after having a really hard day of sitting a Law exam, that I believe I failed. I was so upset and had cried at the table, which I think Mai had noticed. Mai was really lovely and gave me a free brownie dessert as a gift to cheer me up. This act of pure kindness and thoughtfulness really cheered me up! I just wanted to say a massive thank you to her for showing such compassion. Amazing service, amazing lady. The pizza here is always lovely without fail.

The dough on its own is amazing, flavourful, light texture. Add to that a wide selection of quality and interesting toppings and you've got pizza paradise. No wonder it's so popular.

Food is superb. This is not our first time here coz you will definitely keep coming back for the food. BUT the service. The man who welcomed us was nice and friendly. THE LADY? Nah. We felt unwelcomed. She looked unhappy serving us. Then we saw her next table and she was all cheerful taking their orders.

Simply outstanding customer service! Both female waitresses were awesome, friendly, welcoming and a credit to hospitality. They brightened our days.

Amazing service from Eire!! Thankyou! Came here in a group of 7 with three dogs, with only an hour to eat and leave. Pizzas were so fresh and quick, and Eire was so helpful with our chaotic group :D They also gave our dogs food and water. Brownies also 10/10.

Great pizza, which came quite quick and we ordered them with extra toppings. Had the vegan options with extra cheese (I am vegetarian not vegan) which was surprisingly good and tasty.

Excellent pizza, I had the capricciosa and they allowed me to switch the olives out for caper at no extra cost. Amaretto Sour is a must have drink too!

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! This place is a regular in my rotation and never disappoints, whether I’m eating in or getting delivery. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. I’d definitely recommend!

The most ridiculous pizza I’ve ever eaten. I’ve ordered margarita. It was only a soft stone break baked bread and even it was not crunchy, with a small amount of tomato sauce and cheese in middle so I can say one third of the bread didn’t have anything on the top no sauce, no cheese the taste was absolutely normal.

Nice but was not my type of pizza had to ask what cheese they use since I cannot consume every type of cheese and I am glad I did so, they add parmesan cheese to the mozzarella, but you can ask them not to put it on your pizza and they will do it. The service is great.

Really good food. It was my first time at the Harborne branch and I hadn't been to a Rudy's in a few years so I was glad I decided to try it again. The pizza is genuinely the best I've tasted and the garlic bread with mozzarella was the perfect starter. The dips/sauces they have really help and the pricing in general makes it easy to come back often. I'll definitely be visiting again very soon!

the service was rude, the lady that greeted us with an under cut was cold and didn’t say hi or even smile. we then had our order taken drink and food and within 7/8 mins of our food order being taken our food was being served, we appreciate prompt service however not being given any time to enjoy our drinks isn’t the best but also screams that everything was just ready to go prepared and no freshness to our food. our x2 pizzas were burnt on the bottom with a really bad charcoaly burnt taste, however the top of the pizza was raw, sloppy and under cooked. so th oven was on too high of a temperature and our food didn’t cook properly which is super disappointing. this was the same with our garlic bread however this was probably worst as it was borderline inedible with how apparent the burnt taste was: we ordered x2 dips and didn’t get given these so I had to get up and ask for them as no one cqme to ask how our food was, because if they would have, all of it would have been sent back / complained about. we eventually when we had finished was asked if we had finished and I said yeah and it wasn’t very nice or it wasn’t great, expecting your served to ask me why. but no, no care in the world . we asked for boxes to take this home to hopefully warm it up and cook it at home for lunch no h tomorrow but it not be raw and this is the first rudys I have ever been too where they don’t box it for you. anyway overall, we went out for a nice anniversary meal at a chain that we absolutely love to receive rude service and very mediocre food, will stick to Bennett’s hill next time where our custom feels appreciated

Had a surprise birthday 🎂 dinner, pizza dough was fresh and the ingredients were fresh, cheese was creamy, had a long wait to be served but the staff was quite generous and didn't charge us for our meal. Chairs could be more comfortable, We enjoyed the company of my friends 😊🎉. would recommend and go again in the near future, food was delicious😋 and filling.

I've eaten here several times... always prompt and helpful service. The pizzas are so tasty 😋 cooked fresh to order and the base is so yummy! Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. Would also recommend the sides and some interesting drinks options. The restaurant is in a good spot for people watching on the high st. It's normally always pretty busy, so I would recommend booking a table for evening dining.

Visited Rudy's on a sunny afternoon and were lucky to sit in their outdoor area. Lovely food, great service, and thoroughly enjoyed it! This place was missing from Harborne High Street!

I have been here in for may times, and today was the worst. First, it took us long time to get our food. We ordered few pizaas and ceaser salad. The salad was rubish, the mint was black ( most probably spent days in thier fridge). The pizzas were OK.

Came here for the first time yesterday with my friends and it was a wonderful experience. They have a a pleasant seating area, indoor and outdoor. They have a lovely range of drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I heard many good things about their pizza and I was not disappointed. The ingredients tasted very fresh, the dough was light and crispy, the tomatoes had a tang and the cheese was light and creamy. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Kudos to the staff as well, who are all really professional and lovely. Especially Eve, who has a keen eye for remembering peoples faces. ;)

If I could give more stars for service I would! I visited with my daughter and 5 of her friends for her birthday today. The service was wonderful and made it so less stressful for me (it had been a heavy afternoon with bowling beforehand 🤣) and the pizzas were quick. I was touched by the free desert for the birthday girl. Everyone had a lovely time and although I've been here before, today was special. Thank you Rudy's ❤️

First of all the pizza was delicious 😋🍕. The location is great and it's a nice place. My issue was with the staff who hadn't cleaned the table that we sat on for a long time 😒. Even when I asked them, he just did it briefly and I had to clean it myself 😤. Secondly, I ordered bottled water and he brought Acqua Panna which is fairly expensive and the waiter brought 3 already opened bottles which I didn't appreciate because it made me believe that it wasn't actually Acqua Panna 🤨. Have been looking forward to a trip here for some time. We made it this week... and it did not disappoint us. Parking and access was simple... with a large public car park less than 40m away. We were cheerily met at the door and quickly seated. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and I like the industrial, utilitarian fit out. The cook line was open to , with the Pizzaiolos spinning dough for all to see. FoH were quick and effecient, drinks first whilst we interrogated the menu. The pizza was generous and well made, the crust was light and had a crunch and a chew. The sauce was also just right, not so overpowering so you could taste the delicious toppings. Overall a delicious meal experience and run as a proper Pizzaria should be... We will be back... 😎🍺🍕👍

I went to the rudy’s in town a few years ago and was disappointed but the harborne rudy’s was great! The service was good and the pizzas came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Really enjoyed the pizza and the nduja aioli dip is just soooo good🤤

Pizza is fresh and great flavors. Dessert are basically out of the fridge and to your plate, over priced and not that great. Even the home made fresh tiramisu was mostly biscuit and not that great.

Great service, great food .. you should try their special pizza's, the Coppa, tallegio and leek is bellissimo!! When booking, if you don't want to sit in the children's area, make that clear.

I have to say the atmosphere and the pizza was really really nice what let it down was the service. in some parts, it was quite slow for example, getting our drinks order and then food order. It did also feel like it was a bit of a conveyor belt really and we really just wanted to have our drinks. First kind of catch up because I’ve not met this guy in quite a long time and then have our pizza and then have a little paws for like five or 10 minutes and then have our desserts. It was a little bit rushed and then once we had everything getting the bill was again a slow process it took about five or 10 minutes for the bill to come over and we had to try and hail someone. the ice cream was a bit of a letdown. I have to say it didn’t taste like strawberry. There is some gelato shops that are in the West Midlands that we’ve been to and you can really taste a strawberry it was very weak. It was very much tasted just like ice cream with no real flavor of strawberry. a little bit of a letdown really and the service was quite slow in some parts, and then it was just a service time was rather rushed at the end. Wasn’t the best as well. It was just a little bit off for me.

Lovely authentic pizza, my only quibble was that most pizza had pork of some description so difficult to dine with anyone who doesn't eat it. Atmosphere was 4 because it was early in the afternoon midweek so not many others there.

Myself and my partner enjoyed the pizzas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I am vegetarian and had to order the vegan pizza because they use non vegetarian cheese on the pizzas including the margherita. It would be good to have a pizza with vegetarian cheese as an option as I would definitely go back then.

We didn't book, but the front of the staff got us a table on a very busy night, they were amazing. The pizza was delicious probably one of the best I've had in Birmingham. Will definitely come again.

So many great places to eat in Harborne and this is another on the list. Pizza delicious and service very good, don’t be afraid to try a different style of pizza to your usual here and the nduja dip is so good

Absolutely loved my lunch at Rudy's. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it has a nice atmosphere. Pricing is also very good. The food is amazing!! I recommend the dip for the pizza crust!

First timing visiting here today (Friday lunchtime) with our 3 year old and staff went above and beyond to help us/make our little one comfortable. Thank you to the lovely female staff member (brunette, arm tattoos :) Super fast service, lovely pizza, brownie and coffees were amazing too. Will definitely be back.

You know the pizza’s good when you’re surrounded by italians. Best pizza I’ve had in this country mixed with warming atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Authentic, delicious pizza, would highly recommend!!!! My son had a free dessert as it was his birthday. Big up Mai for looking after us and also the chefs for the skills and cooking with a smile

I have ordered take away from this restaurant several times. I must say be careful when ordering sauces as your sauces are most likely going to be all over the bag as they are very hard to transport. Recently I ordered from there and the delivery driver of Deliveroo delivered the pizza fine but the bag with the sauces in were all opened and there were drinks missing, later to find that he had dropped the bottles outside on the road and not picked up the glass and not let us know, howver that is another matter to be resolved with Deliveroo. I drove down to the restaurant to let them know of the situation and this is why they get 5 stars for service as they said it has happened several times with delivery drivers and they gave me all the sauces and drinks that were ruined. I then had to transport these back and realised why it was so difficult for someone on a scooter as I was in a car and had to drive carefully. The Pizza itself was very nice, they often don't put enough toppings on though as mentioned I have ordered from here several times and the lack of nduja is a common occurrence. My recommendation is once the pizza has been delivered to put it in the oven for about 10 mins and this takes the pizza to another level. Highly recommend the garlic aioli and hot honey dips.

Staying locally for work, and did little search of places to eat in the area, and Rudy's came up highly rated. And it didn't disappoint. I'm glad I booked too! Great buzz and vibe. Greeted at the door, shown to my table, order taken swiftly, and my triple pepperoni pizza was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff, you can watch the pizzas being made. WARNING! The garlic bread is huge. Order with caution. Nice ambience. Pizzas are made very quickly, rustic-looking and, of course, taste delicious. Definitely the best I've tasted outside of Italy and would give the Italian pizzerias a run for their money. The garlic aioli is highly recommended. Completely stuffed or would have ordered dessert. Will definitely be back.
