excellent food from the ruby house as always. Never had a bad meal

Salt and chilli chicken was very dry and didn’t taste good

Food was bland no taste spare ribs were all grissel no meat

Gave this place a chance but it was poor. Salt and pepper chips were just chips with some veg thrown in and were cold. Chow mein was like rubber. Wings were soggy. Was nowhere near as good as wok and roll

3rd time my order has turned up wrong. Then I get a refund rather than my order.

Food was ok but the salt and chilli chicken had no flavour

Very tasty food as always. Nice to have a meal with flavour. Been in hospital for a couple of weeks - everything is so bland there. My ginger and spring onion chicken was perfect thanks

If I could give it one star - I would. Salt pepper chips were soggy, watery and tasteless. Sloppy veg too. They forgot my seaweed too! Sweet and sour tasted far too artificial. Not very nice! Really wouldn’t bother going here!!!

on the order it shows chios, rice & bbq sauce...food has curry sauce on, not happy as don't like it & can't get to the shop to change & won't come out to change it

Beef chow mein was dry and veggies were too crunchy. Sweet & sour sauce wasnt enough for 2 of us. Prawns toast was perfect. Delivery was prompt and food was warm. Would order again but likely to go for something different.

strange choice of containers for steaks. fluids all in bottom of bag. not much gravey with food, was very watery and contained lots of garlic. steaks very tough, lots of gristle and no seasoning. got a 1.25l bottle of coke nice touch but was flat and warm. very disappointing meal, that was cold on arrival but the chips were hot and crispy.

Absolutely the best, fresh, Chinese we have had. I know they had an issue in the kitchen but on a new review and a 5, dont go anywhere else. Lovely food and the freshest ingredient.

chinese not very good. you get what you for, bbq ribs with a dark gravy like sauce, chicken and sweetcorn soup very watery, special curry not to bad. sorry won't be ordering again.

We order regularly from here and are always very happy with the food. We order from their website do don't interact with the staff but the food is sometimes delivered so fast we don't have time for a shower...thank you Ruby House.

The girl at the front is very friendly, offering great customer service. I order the curries from here - prawn, chicken or vegetable, it’s really tasty. Prawn crackers, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, chips all nice. Would order again.

food wasn't good at early, nothing seemed freshly cooked, it wasn't warm, the curry was that thick it wouldn't pour out of the container. the chips were hard over cooked (maybe) but if I'm honest the whole meal was poor, I'm extremely disappointed as I use this restaurant regularly.

What can I say. The food 10/10, the staff and the customer service made my day. I am a learning disabled individual and the staff were very very patient and understanding and we're willing to adapt the way that they spoke to me to meet my needs. I will definitely be returning with my family. Ruby house has a beautiful atmosphere and the staff are overwhelmingly kind.

First time ordering and will be the last! Absolutely dreadful food!! Arrived cold and food was so bland. No flavour what so ever. If you like Chinese food then i suggest not ordering from here im afraid.

Called the restaurant to say food was APPARENTLY on the way, to be told that it had only just been cooked and was sat on the counter waiting for the delivery driver to pick it up after he had just left. ALSO HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME TO COME PICK IT UP MYSELF IF I COULDNT WAIT ANY LONGER. Then got a notification that food had been delivered as soon as I was off the phone with them. Eventually turned up after 45 minutes and was cold. ABSOLUTE JOKE

Usually have no complaint but this was definitely not the best. Tasteless, insipid, clear runny sauce, with some veg (mostly bits of green pepper}, FAR too many onions (I mean way too many!!) and a few tasteless prawns. There may have been a hint of garlic (Prawn in Garlic Sauce) but I think the clove was removed too early. The rice was up to standard as was the sesame prawn on toast but this was served with barely half a container of the sweet sauce. Very poor meal.

Wasted over £17 the food was awful never tasted anything so bland absolutely disgusting my bin enjoyed it even the banana fritters didnt hit the spot total waste of my money NEVER ORDER AGAIN

Best Chinese I’ve ever had. My favourite for a few years now and never disappoint.

Called the restaurant to inform them of a mistake and the girl that answered the phone was very rude and had an attitude problem. Very unprofessional and unhelpful.

The food wasn't up to normal standard and we will really have to consider next time.

Called the restaurant and asked for sauce to be removed and one added also put on the notes of the order and still came with the sauce i didnt want the food was warmish will not be going again

Ordered this evening when I collected food was cold and extremely greasy.

Disgusting food. Thought we'd give this a try as our usual Chinese, Bilston House, was closed. All I can say is avoid, avoid, avoid! Chicken curry was undercooked and runny, sweet and sour chicken balls also undercooked and the salt & pepper chicken balls tasted more like squid. Even the chips were disgusting (how can you get chips wrong?!) Will never order from here again!!! Order from Bilston House instead guys!

Ordered Singapore chow Mein which is really nice. Also ordered special fried rice. The, what I assume was beef tasted cheap, which spoilt the dish.

Hi to all reading this, do not waste ur money on ordering from this Chinese takeaway!!!. I popped in after work as my kids fancied Chinese, i explained to the girl who looked around 15 who took my orde that I would like my food delivered at 5:45pm at this time the time was 5:15, she explained it wouldn't be a problem. I couldn't take the food with me as I ride a motorbike and this was my first visit to this Chinese takeaway, got home had a shower and the food hadn't arrived so I called the shop she said it was on the way, 20 minutes later I called again as no show, she then said the driver just got bk and will be leaving In 1 minutes time, I explained that this is not on as my children are hungry and have school in the morning and then asked her as to why she had to lie with regards to my delivery in the first place knowing I was a first time customer, her answer was, if u wanted it sooner u could have collected it. My reply to her was, I pulled up out side ur shop on a motorbike and I asked for a delivery which cost an extra £1:50 as I had no way off transporting the food home for 5 people, there was then silence for around 10 seconds!!.. I then asked for a dish on the house for the inconvenience and was strongly denied and was told that I'm not there only customer and that i should be more patient, what the hell!!... The food was delivered 1and a half hours later by such a lovely delivery driver who was so apologetic - God bless him!!.. Never will I place a order with them again as food was so terrible, in total we had 6 pieces of meat in the House special fried rice and there was more onions and vegetables in the plastic container than curry sauce, by far this takeaway is the worst Chinese takeaway i have ever spent my hard earned money in.. Im not one for writing reviews however I feel so hard done by the service,quality,bad attitude and lies. Never again will we order from the Ruby House Bilston Wolverhampton. Shame on your Ruby House for treating first time customer in such a way.

Was OK. Chips were overdone, sauce was too spicy, the sauce in 1 curry was really watery, both curries were bulked out with onions so much so we filled 1 of the tupperware containers of the onions. Delivery was very quick
