Ruby in Hinckley and Bosworth

I have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. Chinese food is my favourite and I've tried lots of different take aways but this is a firm favourite

Don’t count on getting your food. Claim to have lost the tickets, the driver has left with it, it’s on its way or they haven’t got the pound to it yet. the service has gone down hill massively over the last year where they tell you 45 minutes delivery but you have to call again and again from an hour and a half later to check what’s going on. You can wait up to two and a half hours to get your food or tell them to not bother. When you ask for confirmation of why or what’s going on you can hear the kitchen staff screaming and shouting in the background. There’s no customer loyalty here, they just don’t care. There’s nothing but excuses and if they do offer any kind of compensation for making you wait hours they knock of the delivery charge and send out food you wouldn’t feed to the dog. Yet another local company with no compassion or care for what they serve. Take your business elsewhere and get the quality you deserve. Ruby what happened???????????

This restaurant has yet to disappoint. Quality food low prices and consistent taste. No marks for atmosphere as we always do take away.

Regularly order from here, food is always great, if you are getting a large order then be prepared to wait a little longer but having tried several others I always go back to this place.

Usually love the food here. But last night very disappointed. Chicken chow mein was very dry and the egg fried rice looked more like boiled rice

Ordered food at 6pm, after 2 hours and 4 phone calls later being told it will be another 15 minutes each time we ended up cancelling. So can't comment on the food but shocking service.

Best Chinese ever. All their food I have experienced is amazing. Very fast service too.

Ordered food 2 and half hours later turned up. This is the 1st this has happened. Hence why it is a 2 star usually it comes when it says it does. So not happy tonight

I ordered my food and they told me it was arriving in 5 minutes.It arrived in 3 minutes and the food was great.10/10 would spend my money to eat here.Recommend to go here.

Placed an order at 7.20. Got told it would 45 mins to an hour. No problem. 8.40 came, still no delivery. Rang them to be told another 15 mins. Not ideal but okay. 9.15 came and still no delivery. I rang to cancel. Just got told okay. No explanation. Terrible. Don't recommend.

Always efficient, friendly service. Always good food and decent portions at decent prices. Plenty of nearby parking, either opposite or the two car parks on Rugby Road, even using the Sainsbury's car park. Like other takeaways, Ruby also deliver to your door.

Food was OK. Did not get complete order however. Check your boxes before the driver goes.

Only half the food delivered. The lady on the other end of the phone said she would 'look into it'. Phoned up 30 mins later to ask where the rest of the food was, and how long it was going to be, only to be told 'we've not cooked it, It wasn't on the original order, would you like to order it now?' It was on the original order. 3 people heard me read it out, and she read it back to me. No courtesy call to tell me this fact, of course. So we were all left sitting waiting for food that would never come. Very, very poor service. Spoilt what should have been a good night. Food wasn't that great either.

after trying to order on line ( the line is terrible) the guy hung up on me after nearly 80% of the order,£50 order. if they take this much care over their food i would rather stay home and eat cold beans. good luck to those who dear order food from the not likeable customer phone answering person. never left a review before as was gob smacked that some one would just hang up, they obviously don't care at all. so felt i should share. i am off to cook now.
