Rozi's Tandoori Restaurant in Isle of Anglesey

I didn’t really get what I ordered a there response was a different chef! The food came cold, once I paid the women at the till didn’t even say a goodbye just walked off m they had there kids running around will not be returning especially as there are new Indians opening nearby

I accidentally ordered a takeaway meal from this restaurant, when I phoned to cancel they refused to refund. I lost more than £30. Disgusting.

Terrible, madras was so hot it was inedible, incredibly the Jalfrezi ordered by two of our party ended up with oboe looking and tasting like Raw naag chillies. Don’t get us wrong, we are from Oldham, like a hot curry, but not one that burns your lips before it gets in your mouth, chutneys are separate pricing with poppadums, small polystyrene pots not good value at all. Worse curry I have had in a long long time

We have been going to Rozis for many years. We have never had a bad experience regardless of whether it is busy or quiet. The staff are polite, friendly and courteous and the food is always nice and hot and of a high standard. We would not hesitate in recommending Rozis to others. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Do not order from here the first time we ordered from here the order was wrong and smashed to smithereens!!! The second time we have ordered it hasn’t even arrived!!!!!! Very unhelpful staff on the phone!!!

I have been there with my family. It was so good the food was mesmerising. There was waiter named Dilshad. He had taken a great care of us.

We had the misfortune of trying this restaurant whilst staying on Anglesey. Firstly, it was practically empty, which is never a good sign. The staff were very disinterested in their customers and slow to take any orders. The soft drink they provided was flat. They replaced it. The food was bland. They charge separately for the pickle tray to accompany the poppadums which meant that 4 poppadums and the pickle tray was the better part of £6 and wasn’t all that. Worse was to come with the bland curries. Both looked identical despite supposedly being different. Both tasted identical, despite one supposedly being of greater “heat” than the other and both tasted like they had been made with the palate of a 5 year old in mind. The tikka and tandoori flavours were not evident and we may as well have been eating chicken nuggets. Of the few people in there, most seemed to be ordering mild curries, but it wouldn’t have mattered what they’d ordered as it all tastes bland, mild and uninspiring. The breads were not great either and the staff attitude deteriorated as the meal went on. Definitely somewhere to avoid unless you live nearby and like every curry to taste like a kid’s Korma.

Rushed to get an Indian after a long day travelling wish we would of saved our money now. Had some good meals here but more poor orders than good, we won’t be risking it again. We had beef it didn’t smell of beef it was disgusting the tandoori chicken was dry and the chips freezing cold. We left half of the food and Won’t be risking money here again. The person answering the phone is also very rude I phoned up after an hour had passed with them closing soon. He hung up the phone on two occasions. This place needs shutting absolutely disgusting 🤢 lucky I had the off taste with the meat yesterday and didn’t carry on eating it. We both feel ropey today glad the kids didn’t eat any with it being late.

Arrived in Amlwch on a damp Thursday, and the B&B recommended Rozi's. Fair enough. I've had some excellent Indian / Bangla means in remote corners of the UK, let's try here. The restaurant was clean and pretty quiet, which for a Thursday night seemed odd. Plenty of Takeaway customers, but few tables in use. I tried the house special, the Almwch Special. Alas, it was very dry (both in terms of sauce and over-cooked.), and pretty bland. Eventually, the table was cleared, and I fancied ending with a coffee. So I waited for the waiter to return. And waited. And waited. And waited. And ...to heck. went up to the counter, paid and left. Won't be rushing back there.

We have been going to Rozzis Amlwch for as long as it been open but recently found that the place has gone down morale of the staff and kitchen staff, which I can only recommend as they have been overworked.many employees which was recently there have Gone including Raff the boss that used to take care of all the staff it is a pity As It Is, a lovely place and the food, is always nice

The food is fantastic and the menu is extensive and ranges beyond the usual "curry house". Everything is excellently cooked and presented.

We had a takeaway delivered to our holiday lodge and it did not disappoint. When the food arrived it was delivered earlier than promised when we ordered and was piping hot. The quality of the food is as excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

One of the best Indian food experiences, in a long time, good choice and staff were very good in assisting with the menu. We both had the tandoori chicken to start, cant fault the taste and portion size, could not stop picking the tender chicken and licking my fingers.... Chose two mains, one rice, and a side. upon ordering the waiter recommended the lamb handi, we we went for. What a great dish of tender lamb on the bone curry, the lamb was amazing. The other dish was chicken tandoori balti, very good, would have liked more chicken, but still a good flavoursome dish. Opted for the lemon rice as we have never seen that on a menu before, what a lovely rice to compliment the mains, and bombay potatoes as the side, which my wife insisted on finishing.....all empty plates. Overall this was very good, staff friendly, nicely priced and most of all great tasting, we will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant, decor, staff and food. Only rated atmosphere low because we were only people in there (we were there very early 5pm Monday). Food was brilliant quality and because we were stuffed and tired we were able to bag up the rest to have later. Thank you Rozi's

I would rate this restaurant way higher should the waiter have behaved well with me. We are travelling through wales and stopped for dinner here. I ordered as I wished but the waiter (based on my skin colour) felt the need to tell me I am not British so I wouldn’t like the dish I intended to order. That was downright rude. Little does he know about us. Also we’re being picky and forcing us to order all the food together stating “kitchens were busy”. We ordered chapatis separately and they refused. I don’t know if any restaurant which says we can’t get you your food if it’s not ordered within one big order. Racist and foolish!

Our visit to Rozi restaurant today was unfortunately quite challenging, starting right from the time of placing the order. The person taking the order informed us that they only prepare medium-hot dishes, refusing to make a hot tarka dal or any other spicier food. This is unlike any experience we've had at Indian restaurants or takeaways across the UK. The tarka dal we received was still mild in taste and disappointingly only half-filled. The portion seemed quite meager. Our order of saag paneer had an unexpected yoghurt-like and sweet flavor, despite our request for no sugar or sweetness. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant to Indian food enthusiasts, especially fellow Indians. My future visits will certainly not include a return to this establishment.

Great range of good food. The decor is much as you would expect. Service has become exceptional and the food is delicious. It's also pretty consistent, which helps. It is our favourite Indian restaurant and takeaway on the island

Probably the best lamb shank I've ever tasted; subtly infused with spices and herbs but so full of flavour! Had an inkling this recommended plate was going to be good when the king prawn puri arrived, well presented and plentiful. Have also to mention the attentive, amiable staff; thank you for recommending such fabulous lamb! Best wishes, hope to see you again soon!

Had a take away like night arrived half an hour early so a good start. Wasn’t disappointed with the quality of food best king prawn pathia I’ve tasted lovely kick in the sauce. We also ordered chicken korma and butter chicken both were delicious and food arrived piping hot. It’s a 10 from me

Usually get nice chips here. This time they were just oven chips, very disappointing. If I wanted oven chips I'd buy and cook my own. Check before you buy. Hope this is a one-off, they are usually nice. Would give 5 stars for the chicken dopiaza though.

Telephoned my order and was told to pick up in 20 minutes. Order was ready in 20 minutes so no waiting around. Parking was easy just outside the takeaway. Premises were clean and staff friendly and well presented. Two biriyani's were ordered with one lamb and one chicken tikka. With both there was plenty of meat and cooked right. As a connoisseur of the curry and a frequenter of the curry mile in Manchester you wouldn't have thought you'd find a decent curry in the middle of Anglesey. I stand to be corrected, said the man in orthopaedic shoes.. The Royal Naga is a belting curry. Nice smokey taste with the kick of a mule. The chilli cheese garlic bread is a master piece. Prices are reasonable. All round a cracking curry. Good effort fellas. Next time, just don't put us in the naughty corner.

I decided to wait and give them a chance as the food is normaly good. Couple minutes later I called back and offered to come and collect the food as it was worrying me as to how long the food had been sitting in the bag. The woman on the phone told me that the driver had just been to collect the order and would be delivered in the next few minutes We waited another 20mins and still nothing. At this point it’s getting on to 8, I called again to cancel as I was sick of waiting and was told that the food was on its way and that nothing could be done. I explained that If the driver ever decided to turn up that I would not be accepting the food or paying for it (luckily it was cash) as I was unhappy with the whole situation. The woman was extremely frustrating and couldn’t understand that I didn’t want the food now as it’s probably cold and would be soggy by the time it’s delivered. I just hung up and put in a frozen pizza instead. The delivery guy did eventually turn up around 8:20, I just explained that I’d cancelled over the phone and I apologised to him as he looked flustered. Safe to say I definitely will not be ordering from them again.

Disgrace!! Ordered food on a Monday, delivery driver was stopped for speeding. Asked for a refund and they refused saying phone on Friday and ask the manager. The member of staff on the phone had the most disgusting attitude, was shouting at me and at one point even swore. Some other language he used "wot, wot, wot u want me to do ay ay" "Jesus are you stupid or something love". Honestly I thought he was joking at first because this cannot be the wat they speak to customers. Safe to say I will NEVER use this restaurant again.
