Onion bhaji very nice quick delivery I had the chicken korma just felt like it was missing something

Awfull very dissapointed orderd a peri burger they gave a fried chiken burger slapped with salt on asked for a coleslaw they gave me lettuce with mayo on like guys u need fix up dont false advertise!!!

Order chicken madras garlic narn rice chips got no cure. Won't be going there again what a ripoff

Just awful. Neither ate all our meal, nearly all of mine went in the bin. My partner had korma which was way to sweet and overly full if coconut. Naan was undercooked snd cold. Poppadom chewy snd clearly not fresh. Tomato onion salad was, well, i dont really know what. I am sure they wouldn’t serve this to Dadi.

Food was excellent, kebab meat was delicious, fast delivery. Small portions for the price paid but can't complain really. Will use again.

Ordered food. They cancelled the order moments before it was due to be delivered. Wouldn't have minded if it was when it was first ordered but so far along is shocking!

Food excellent had 3in the last 4 weeks delivery a bit slow though better if you collect as they are that version busy

First time ordering from here. Ordered a chicken korma, chicken was very dry. Korma sauce looked and tasted like it had been literally watered down. Ordered onion bahjis and got sent vegetable samosas. Won’t be ordering from here again.

3rd bad experience from this company. 1st time food was delivered cold after waiting a hour n half, second time we arrived at the shop too pick up a collection at the time we were told then when we got there they told us we would need wait a little while longer and I ended up sitting there for 40 mins then the 3rd and worst experience as been tonight, we ordered our tea at 6pm they took our payment and the delivery time was showing 1 hour…. Nearly 2 hours later and we tried too call about 5 times too see where are food was but nobody answered and the website when checked again was saying there closed for the weekend. Our food never turned up so had too order from another takeaway, Will never use these again.

Had to wait ages for delivery tonight they forgot our bombay potatoes we paid for and food wasn't hot chips were soggy. Won't be returning first time we have been

Ordered through Foodhub at 8.30pm, website stated an hour for delivery, 2 hours later still nothing, no answer when phoning and now got to go to bed hungry and wait upto 5 days to get a refund!! Will not be using again!

Took forever, soggy samosas and watery curry, disappointing experience

This is my go to takeaway curry house, brilliant curries and they make their own naan bread, great taste great value. 👍

Delivery driver rang us as he was lost! We stayed on the phone to him so it made it easier for him to find us. We could see him in the distance and he turned around and drove off!! We had to call him back .....nightmare! Korma was bland & watery. Felt really sorry for the delivery driver but won’t be ordering again as food was poor and not worth the money. Sorry

It’s the first time we have tried royal spice and it was the best curry/ balti and rice and onion Bhaji we have had in a long time every time my partner has a curry/balti they are always watery and your was perfect and it won’t be the last time we order from here

Hi just had two currys from here one mushroom curry and the other a chicken madras absolutely both red hot could not eat them. Wont be coming back.

Terrible service. Took over 90 mins to deliver food despite saying 55 mins. Moreover, I had to chase the order 3 times. When I challenged the delivery driver, he told me ‘we’ve given you free poppadoms, what else do you want?’, Err, deliver on time was the answer. I’m guessing there is a new owner as these weren’t the normal ‘voices’ on the phone (I guess there is a history of poor performance?). Keep away is my advice. I won’t be using again.

Freshly cooked food. Always satisfied. Every time I come into Alsager from Colchester, I always pop into the Royal Spice for my evening meal. Excellent , friendly and clean.

Just eaten the most wonderful meal. Every dish was fantastic. Mushroom rice was my favourite and best I've ever had. Chicken jalfrezi, onion bhajis, mixed kebab, paratha and papadoms. All exceptional. Thanks so much.

Third time had from here, nice curry each time. Had two rogan josh and a Balti. Plenty of meat and sauce doesn’t taste similar so guessing they make separate batches.

Extremely dissapointed with my food order the onion bhaji's were hard and dry the chicken was rubbery in my balti and everything had a strong smell of bleach to it. And to add insult to injury they then decided to take payment twice from my bank. I will not be using again Ever.

Brilliant curry, fast delivery can't fault this place

Chicken tikka starter has been beautiful for the last few weeks, charred veg with it, salad, yoghurt dip, this week, bland meat, soggy salds,no dip, it was perfect as it was, won't order again,tasteless

I’ve been advised by a friend to try out royal spice,wasn’t sure what the food would be like after today’s service I can definitely say it’s one of the best curries I have ever had, Would recommend 😃

A great family run business, it's also great to see balti's curry's etc being cooked from scratch by an authentic chef! Although I usually have a chicken tikka kebab because in my opinion they taste amazing! You can feel and see the sense of pride that the staff have about their food and cleanliness, and that's another reason why it will continue to be a big thumbs up from me 👍

i placed an order said it would be deliverd at 22:07 it never came so i rang them and they said i have had my takeaway so i explained i never went to the door and handed over any money as its still sat next too me, he INSISTED that hed handed over the food and got passed 15 by some one random obviously so i waited all that time for no food anyway first time ordering from there too NEVER again ill take my custom else where
