Guys are spot on in the shop really friendly and welcoming. Suggested the chilli garlic special and it did not disappoint my new go to for Indian food

Going off my last experience. Is what we have marked it as. When we first walked into here, new to the area. The staff were really lovely. When we phoned up. It was a completely different experience. Very rude and abrupt. In this case the customer would order what he said or your not getting it. Very sad, as had high hopes, as the food was pretty good. But because of the mannerism of the man on the phone. It has sadly pushed us away. I tried to explain what our needs were, and that they were met when we had been in the shop, but sadly it wasn’t good enough. We were willing to buy extra of other things off the menu too, but wasn’t given a chance and couldn’t get past first base with him. He wouldn’t budge that we did not need the nan with the chicken. We sadly wont be using here again. As something so simple wasn’t met. (And with such unnecessary-stern attitude) Yet was happily met when in shop. We did have a missed call back, but sadly, glad we didnt hear it.

Ordered for a change to traditional Christmas Dinner. Ordered for 7 and 6 of us were sick all night and most of today (boxing day). Stay clear - we all had chicken which was the common ingredient.

Best Indian takeaway in the area. We don't bother with anywhere else, Royal Spice does great food, fast service & delivery. The prices are very competitive and if you subscribe to their notifications you'll get to know when they do 20% off orders above £20 on some weekends. 10 out of 10 for Royal Spice.

Tried to order online after seeing "cash only weekend get 20% off when spending £20 or more ' Online wants a card payment so phoned the order in. On collection tried to charge full price saying discount was for online only! Boss type turned up and said 'give him the 20 % off ' , too bloody complicated for me.

Not everyone is comfortable booking on line they advertise a deal 20% of food when you order but this is not valid if you ring up why?it must be done on line crazy went somewhere else

Waited 1 1/2 hour for delivery, no poppadoms & all the rest was stone cold, they blamed traffic, not a lot of traffic on a Saturday night, wot be using this place again

Had a Korma which was very watery . The chicken was rubbery and the chips soggy . The pilau ruce was tasteless . I had a bad experience last time but they rectified it so benefit of the doubt given. This time the food was awful. Never again

Just had our first meal from here , we can honestly say its up there with the best indian meal we've had ,everything was hot and cooked perfect , we would recommend to anyone , can only advise that you go to there web site or phone to order as just eat takes 25% off there final bill ,as a business owner myself ,i cannot stand that kind of extortion ,

Absolute disgrace...the place is filthy & the food isn't good enough to grace my dogs bowl. Shame as used to be a good takeaway but since new ownership it's a sham. Stay well clear of the place...

Bloody awful! Tikka had 5 pieces of chicken, donner undercooked and no salad! Small portion of undercooked fries! Good mind to report to trading standards!

Ordered veg curry & they must have misheard me as there wasn't any vegetables, found 3 peas, 1 corn, 1 green bean, 4 tiny tiny 2mm carrot, although there was enough onions to feed the street, which come whole quarted, Disappointing.

I called them and spoke to them told them I wanted my donner spicy. It wasn’t even spicy at all instead it was sweet they may have used food colouring to get the colour. The spicy fries it was normal fries with chilli powder on top disgusting waste of money why would you say something you can’t do just for money.

Food is always 10/10 staff are amazing

Disappointed, Mix kebab doesn't come with salad or sauce. Sooooooo dry. Did ask for the chips and curry to be separate, but it wasn't, so they were well soggy. Overall dead takeaway wouldn't order again.

My friends and I shared the most amazing meal this evening. The delivery driver was lovely and efficient. The food was to die for and I will definitely be a returning customer.

OK kebab, the size of the thing and the value was good. Couldn't eat it all between 2 of us. Pretty standard donner, but it was quite tasty.

Food came piping hot and very quickly, came with lots of extra food and told us that it was cheaper to order directly from them rather than just eats/uber eats. Food was lovely, really good takeaway! Would 100% order from here everytime!

Ordered four kebabs tonight and the two that were donner meat had sharp pieces of plastic in them. Website charges £1 for ‘separate salad’ which I didn’t click as I wanted the salad to be on the kebabs not separate, but I didn’t get any at all. Very disappointed tonight as the food from here is usually spot on.

First time at Royal Spice and I'll definitely be back. Ordered the monster kebab for the family and it was amazing. The donner meat was so tasty and not greasy like other places. The naan bread was freshly made in house, the best I've had! The staff were so friendly and even offered to carry the kebab to my car. 5 ✨️

Food is great. Kebab boxes are amazing. Seem pricey but you definitely get your moneys worth. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for service being slow everytime...aside from that can't fault it.

I dont write reviews but I have to warn people not to order the lamb tikka masala curry.. I'm a Pakistani who is used to this dish..but unfortunately the food was bad..the curry practicality was an onion curry..it was 80 percent onion and 20 percent curry!!!! Shocking to say the least. The chapatis was like rubber..not happy.!!

Absolutely gorgeous food, we have had both kebab which is huge and so fresh and tasty lots of meat and salad. The best Indian around! I’ve ordered Indian takeaway a lot on here and it’s unbeaten for me - family favourite - won’t go anywhere else. Foods always early, hot and really tasty!

Worst experience ever. Threw all food in the bin as ot tasted tht bad Ordered donner via uber eats app which clearly mentioned the donner comes with sauses and salad. Paid 13 quid for the worst taste donner ever without salads or sauces n wrapped in the cold dry naam which was sticking to the paper it was folded in.. Rang the restaurant n they were very rude. Left a bad review n the restaurant responded back very rudely n abusively. Saying they dont need this type of customers he meant 'honest ones'

Ordered for the first time and will definitely be returning! The food was very high quality and I was pleasantly surprised as its also extremely reasonably priced - the mushroom rice was beautiful! The sort of standard I'd expect sat in a restaurant. The food took a little while to arrive but the man who delivered it was very friendly, and he immediately apologised for the wait. I was also very kindly provided with some extra food as a good will gesture for the inconvenience. Very impressed!

Ordered a takeaway by phone and went to collect. I was greeted and although they were very busy and we had to wait they put extra onion bhajis in our order. We finally home and were very hungry but this was definitely worth it.

Tried Royal Spice for the first time tonight. Had a chicken and lamb kebab on naan. One of the best kebabs I’ve ever had. Could tell it was going to be a good one when I felt the weight of it! Loads of meat on it which was cooked to perfection. Great naan bread. Defo my new favourite takeaway 👌

We ordered from uber eats and the food was amazing. The taste, the flavour everything was on point... Was upset about no free pampadoms as most curry houses do that (never know how to spell it haha) but the taste of the food made up for it. Will be ordering again and I really recommend this place too! The delivery driver was so lovely and wearing gloves and a mask.

Royal spice offerton under new management passed through the other night and got a couple starters as was feeling hungry got them home they was nice so tonight decided to order again this time delivery to my surprise ali turned up with my food and remembered my face not only was the food top notch again but he is also a top guy and customer service 2nd to none will be ordering again soon!!!

Arrived 40 minutes later than planned, food was luke warm and meat was very chewy. Don’t think I will be ordering again. Disappointed

5 star hygiene rating and for me their food was 5 star too. Very tasty. We had the tandoori mix with choice of sauce. Good value for money and prompt delivery.

Has become our new go to takeaway despite not being closest to us by a long shot. Food always piping hot, great kebabs and really tasty curries with depth of flavour. The tarka dhal is excellent as well and the owner is a smashing guy who drops the food himself!

I have always loved royal spice, respect the staff, love the food. Their lamb is not the best but everything else makes up for it, the kebabs are the only kebabs i have really enjoyed, and the only ones i purchase anymore. I cannot be biased over a kebab, its not perfect.

Excellent tasty takeaway. The owner even came back to us a few hours later with a free sample curry because we had mentioned we had wanted to try the naga but it may of been too hot!!! Just wonderful service. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
