Royal Siam in Dartford

OK, so we went there on a Saturday night and it was busy BUT they managed to screw the order up.when it arrived, some people's food didn't even make it to the order sent to the kitchen! The food was cold, and only just edable. Needless to say we won't be coming back anytime soon. And just to add insulte to injury they added 12.5% to the bill!!

Enjoyed a green Thai curry here in April 24, and it was perfection. The curry was spiced to my taste (not uncomfortable to eat but had lovely curry flavour). Texture was really creamy and so pleasant! I will go back and can strongly recommend. The menu is extensive; there will be food to suit all tastes.

1st time visit. Will definitely tell friends an family to go and try. Everything was perfect for us.

Awful. Started of crab was terrible, cannot believe they even served it to be honest zero meat. Then the main £18.50 for three prawns!! Couldn’t believe it. Hardly any food and it cost the earth. Shame as used to be a good restaurant before it got done up.

We loved coming here for dinner and getting a mix of Thai and Indian food. As a vegetarian I love the selection of veggies in the curries. The masaman and Penang are our go to Thai curries and they never disappoint.

Excellent restaurant looks fated in Dartford offering both Thai and Indian dishes. Not tried the Indian food yet but the Thai is very good indeed. Good choices available and the portions are generally much larger than other Thai restaurants. Will be visiting here on a regular basis.

One of the best Indian meals I have had for ages! The waiter, Sadek was outstanding - I just trusted his recommendations on what to order and everything was amazing. This was a great experience I will definitely be back, thank you.

Fantastic restaurant best by a million miles in dartford and I have lived here for over 15 years and experienced some local rubbish in my time.friendly staff that were genuinely friendly and happy and clearly liked where they worked with great interactions with knowledgeable senior staff members.Me and my wife went for Valentine's Day and loved it the food was amazing the service and servers we're amazing a five out of five experience and other customers said the same well done we will 100% come again.Final word this restaurant reminded me of a top class London restaurant and to all reading this you should book a table and experience the joys I have done u won't regret it.

I am sorry to say but i had high hopes from this restaurant but this is a con … its not a thai restaurant.. its chinese run by chinese who serve thai , Indian and chinese food under different banners .. customer service is non existent … if you question the delay in service you get told off by the staff who tells you they are only staff and they can only do so much.. they are on all three delivery platforms but doesn't use platform drivers , instead they have skeleton delivery staff and they take more orders then they can fulfil… Food is basic chinese food that you can get from a local chinese restaurant… perhaps even better .. But not thai at all …. So if you are hoping for thai food .. please look elsewhere

First time eating in the restaurant and we were a group of 9. Food was amazing. We had a variety of dishes, rice starters & breads and all were great quality, fresh & generous portions. Everyone was very happy with their meal & were very full. Sadek was our waiter & he was great. Prompt, polite & and e never had to wait for a drink. We had a very enjoyable meal, with great service. It was so good, we’ve agreed to book every month.

Fake Thai, very average. Crispy duck actually flimsy duck.. don't bother.

A lovely restaurant, an excellent range of dishes to select from. You can choose either Thai or Indian. Prices are very reasonable and they are able to accommodate any changes to a dish.

We have given the Radhuny a wide berth since March this year as we were disappointed with the service we received. Nine months on, New Year's Eve, thought we would give it another go to see if things had improved. How disappointed we were! We were sat down right under the air con unit and pointed out it was cold. Nothing they could do about it. Wasn't even asked if we would like to move. We asked for a bottle of wine. It was plonked down on the table. Wasn't asked if we would like to try it. And even better, it was already opened and a glass had been consumed from it! Had to flag over another waiter as the original person had quickly left without saying anything. A full un-opened bottle arrived for us to open. After 10 minutes, a different waiter came over to us to take our order. He didn't make any eye contact with us, just asked us what we wanted. He was more concerned about looking out the front window. Also, we were never asked if we wanted some poppadoms when we first arrived. A first for an Indian! The Prawn puree starter came out cold. Had to ask for it to be warmed up. The main dishes came out, but we had no cutlery to eat them with! Even the couple next to us offered theirs which was nice. Eventually, after waving my arms long enough, managed to flag over another waitress. No apology. Walked off and came back a few minutes later with stainless steel cutlery. If anyone has been to this restaurant will know that all the cutlery is nice gold-looking. No apology when given the replacement cutlery. At the end of the meal, we asked if we could have a glass of wine of the same bottle that we had been drinking and was declined and told we could only have the house wine. We asked if we could have two glasses from the bottle they brought to us that had been opened. We were told that was only for the manager. At this point, we really thought due to the service we had received, they would try and redeem themselves. Firstly, giving us a glass from that bottle which we were happy to pay for. Secondly, even a couple of glasses on the house! There was no apology for the service we had received. And to top it all, they stuck the service charge on, which was swiftly removed. I don't like to write reviews like this and the majority of the time we write very complimentary reviews. However, this left both my partner and I saying at the same time, that this has got to be the worst service we have received. Hopefully, management will see this and make some changes for future guests. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting this place again, which is a shame as the food is great.

Absolutely delicious. Went to Siam for a work do, never been but it was lovely, the staff lovely and attentive, I chose gyozas for starters and prawn pad Thai for main. They do a curry/thai so plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend.

Best Asian restaurant and so far one of the best in Dartford. Never been there but I have been taking away from them for months and everything is excellent from start to finish. Pad Thai and Chow Mein are totally recommended.

Lovely restaurant abd atmosphere, food is good and tasty, staff always helpful. Just a little expensive and portion sizes seem to have reduced.

I have been 4 times before but I doubt I will be coming again. Either the management has changed or the chef but I can not believe how sweet the dishes were. I mentioned at the end and ended up in argument about you should of told us when the food came out the only thing would be if you saw the staff again. At the beginning of the meal told them can you please not pick sugar in the food but unfortunately it was added and plenty of it.

I have been returning to this restaurant for years. Great atmosphere although staff often look harrassed (but polite with it) as can get very busy. The USP of this restaurant is that they serve both Indian and Thai food, both of which are delicious. They offer takeaway and delivery too.

Been here about half a dozen times since my birthday last December and all I can say is the food, drinks and atmosphere is top notch. The service is also very good

Lovely food delivered. The flavours was lovely. Bit disappointed that £50 of Thai food no longer warrants free Thai crackers as one of my favourite things about the Thai. Will have to ensure I add in future.

Food generally tasty. Hoisin sauce was watered down not good, for the duck pancake starter. No choice of traditional Thai Dessert like Banana fritter and ice-cream on menu. No Indian selection of desserts Kulfi or Indian Sweets like Jilibi. Could improve

Dartford Town not many places to go but this is a wee gem .Hard to find because not on main street . Been a couple off times when visiting never disappointed

Don’t come here on a Saturday night unless you’re booking a large table. We were a table of 3. 2 hours after sitting down, and we had not received our mains. The place was understaffed, so we can’t blame staff. Not sure what management were thinking really. Food was amazing, but it’s not worth waiting 2 hours for… I won’t be coming back during a busy period anymore.

Eaten in, very good. Take away ,no,no,no.. Chicken Korma had no taste, the sag paneer was just cream with lumps of, what I assume was supposed to be cheese and the Garlic chicken was far to hot. If I had to eat with my eyes closed I would not have known it was an Indian. Very disappointed.

Really disappointed this time. The ginger chicken was a few bits of chicken and bulked up with vegetables. The weeping tiger had a couple pieces of beef, complete rip off considering cost £19!. Dropped their standards will think twice about ordering here again. Overpriced and tiny portions

The food was spot on as always. Got served quickly and can’t wait to visit again. Chicken cashew nut is a must to try if it’s your first visit. One of the staff members who served us the food was a bit impolite, abrupt and fell short on courtesy. We were in a hurry so didn’t escalate it, however, definitely one of the things for the management to work on.

First visit to the Royal Siam and we was not disappointed. We had a party of 8 so got to choose various dishes from the ample menu. We really couldnt fault any dishes, excellent service and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend as its a hidden gem located in Dartford with beautiful interior decor.

Honestly abit disappointed at my self that we lived in the area 4 years , walked passed this restaurant numerous times. What a gem. Food is great if you eat in or take out. Menu very big. Weeping tiger , pad tie and curry dishes are amazing! Can get very busy so book at table if eating in. Service isn't rushed, so you have time to enjoy your food and feel no pressure. Thank you chef's and all staff!

We love The Royal Siam. The renovation has brought a breath of fresh air into the restaurant and the food has stayed just as good. The menu now has both Thai and Indian from the two combined restaurants, which leaves you spoilt for choice. The cocktails are delicious, my favourite being Malibu Drive.

Menu had changed and unfortunately the items l loved and wanted had been taken off the menu (The salmon and seabass in banana leaves and the vegetable rice). I ordered other items that tasted nice, but were cold.😒

Ordered Thai on last weekend and had it delivered. The food was really good and we enjoyed it but unfortunately we had a very bad , horrible experience with the driver. The driver as rude and looked like he was in a hurry and just dumped our food on our porch and when I told him it was rude .. he just glared back at me and said "what else you want me to do".. he was tall and intimidating and did not feel safe at all. I would never want to order for a delivery from her again.

Prefer the thai food to the curry. Too westernized with added red food colouring. Salmon tikka masala was far too sweet but salmon was cooked well.

Ordered a Thai green curry for home delivery. Chicken was pink and raw when I cut into it. Seems like this is a one off as it has loads of good reviews but I’m scared to order again!

We have been using this restaurant for take-aways for quite some time now and I have to say we have always been really happy with the food and delivery. Good portion sizes and very tasty!

The food was delicious, with a great selection of both Thai and Indian dishes. I liked the fact that we were asked if we had any allergies, and how spicy we would like our meals! Despite it being quite busy, the service was really good from the moment you enter the restaurant to when you leave - staff were very polite and welcoming! Food was served in a timely fashion - no lengthy wait between starter and main. The table was nicely set/laid out; good decor. Overall, an very pleasant experience in a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and great food.

Fantastic food and great service. My wife and I visit weekly and are always warmly welcomed by the superb staff. The food is always superb (Dhansak and Garlic chilli chicken being amongst our favorite dishes), and there is also a decent wine list (Great Rioja). The restaurant is clean and well organised. Sadiq and Par usually look after us, and are both a credit to the restaurant trade

I first came to this restaurant a few months ago - and have been back a few times since. Even my friends who live in Essex have come back here for more!The Food is *superb* - teh quality of both Thai and Indian dishes is top class.The restaurant has a "high quality" feel throughout - from the decor, to the food to the friendly staff. We were served by Sadek each time and he was very attentive every visit.DEFINITELY recommend - and will be back very soon :)

I have tried most Indian restaurants within dartford and Radhuny is 100% the best out the all of them! The food and service is second to none. Special Thankyou to the manager for making us feel so welcome and catering to all our needs. Won’t go anywhere else!

Six of us booked a table here for a meal on a Tuesday evening. We were all struck at the decor of the restaurant which was meticulously clean and beautifully lit. The table service was excellent and not hurried or pushy, they were available when we needed something and gave us space when we didn't.Both menus were excellent and we tried a variety of dishes from both the Thai and Indian options between us. The soft shell crab I had was delicious and the Beef Massaman curry was amazing, mild and packed full of flavour. My other friends enjoyed their various dishes, with Weeping Tiger, the Indian Mixed Grill and the Pad Thai all being recommended.It was a really nice and relaxed evening, everything was exactly what you'd want from a great restaurant without an excessive price tag. All in all, thoroughly recommended and I'll certainly be back again!

As soon as we arrived the restaurant oozed class very smart and relaxing the waiter Sadek looked after us and explained the concept of the restaurant the choice of choosing from the Thai or Indian menu or a combination we choose the Thai seafood set menu and were blown away with the quality and generous portions of each dish we will most definitely be returning and feel more confident about ordering separate dishes after this initial experience

i went on saturday with my mum. i was determined to find a proper thai restaurant which is also gluten free. the food made me feel like i was sat in bangkok. the service was outstanding. i loved the elegant decoration and most importantly it was not a chaotic loud restaurant. you could hear yourself thinking & speaking which meant we could enjoy our food fully. I honestly wish there were more restaurants like this in kent. there really is none. I am so glad i found this place. I will be visiting again soon. This really is a magical gem of kent & no lie when I say its authentic thai. Bonus: meat quality was superb. in other restaurants you can actually taste the cheapness of the meat. Here I could tell the owner is out to please customers more than cutting corners. I wish this restaurant the best of success as it truly deserves it.

We booked a table of 8 people for last Thursday. Sadly due to M25 chaos we were all late and at different times. The restaurant staff were brilliant. They looked after us perfectly. Once everybody arrived we ordered. I love Thai and know my favourites. I ordered a huge amount of food for the table ( the fantastic waiter after using both sides of his order sheet and most of another smiled and said) " I am lost". The food started arriving and everything that arrived was hot, looked and tasted delicious and the service was impeccable.. I couldnt rate my experience or food any higher ...Liam

Was greeted by Sadek who showed us to our table and took our drinks order and explained the menu to us as you can order from the Indian menu or the Thai menu or from both. I ordered from the Thai menu for my starter which was the crispy duck and from the Indian menu for my main which was a chicken Bhuna, the food was amazing the best Indian I’ve had in dartford would recommend this restaurant to all very tasty food and the staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to ask if we needed more drinks

Was impressed when it reopened in 2020 with the facelift and on my last few visits it feels like they’ve upped their game even more. Food excellent as always, the Salmon Tikka starter is highly recommended. An added side effect of the refurbishment is the customer base it now attracts. No longer just a lads night out venue, the restaurant is filled with families and couples.

We came here for a pre theatre meal and it is a mixture of either Thai or Indian so you can pick from whatever part of the menu you want. We had thai on this occasion and the starters and curries were so tasty and well cooked. Yum yum!

Have always loved this restaurant, however went last Saturday night, stale popadoms, they served my husband total raw grey prawns under a prawn cocktail sauce! My daughter and I had 4 Thai starters between us as our main meal, we had to send them all back and have nothing for dinner, greasy chewy squid and tempura prawns, and I have no idea what sort of ribs they served us.So we had no dinner and my husband who had eaten one of the prawns before we realised they were raw ended up with food poisoning.They gave us a drink to apologise then charged us £80 and have ignored the email I sent them asking them to contact me.Will be referring them to dartford council, such a shame because before this we had always had great food,Would advise everyone to avoid this restaurant, food poisoning was extremely unpleasant for my husband
