Food was as good as always but service was very slow could be due to takeway busy then but they need someone e to do restaurant and someone to take away

Really enjoyed the food and the staff were more than accommodating. Will be back! If i had 1 complaint I'd say the phone lines for orders to deliver are spoiling the experience for restaurant diners as we waited a long time and seemed to be forgotten. Shame really as I really rated this place years ago...

Ordered a takeaway at 6pm. Didn't receive it until 8.15pm. Turned it away as it was cold. Not even a courtesy call from the management to apologise or keep updated. Never will I order from these again.

2 chicken baltis & garlic nan + rice . Surprised when had first mouthful, NO FLAVOUR what so ever. Will not be using again.

These guys should appreciate that they get a one star from me. If only I could give minus 5 stars for the dreadful food quality. Upon checking the inside of my paneer shashlik i noticed brown/black mould which gave off an awful unappetising stench. My stomach turned and I could not eat anymore. The food hygiene rating of this place should be 1 I have no idea how it even deserves a 2 which is what it is now. All in all… I won’t be coming back. On a more positive hand the service cannot be faulted I was happy with this. Improvement must be made I urge people to be weary of the hygiene here. The only edible thing which tasted great were the complimentary chocolates given out with the hot towels upon leaving.

Lovely food, very clean, wonderful attentive staff. No wonder it has such great reviews! First time I have ever been here. Went out with friends and I did lots of research to find somewhere nearby that isn't too close (as good as they are, but a change is good...) The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food here. They are very busy with take out orders so we were happy to wait and let our popperdoms go down. They are licensed but you can take your own drinks in too. I took a bottle of wine my friends bought their beers. All in all, a lovely night and we will visit again.

All in all fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Starters mains and desserts. Excellent, I've eaten plenty of Curry's in my life and this is truly one of the best. Proof is in the eating, so the picture should reflect this. Empty plates.....better than full ones. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure. Compliments to the staff, very friendly and hospitable. Great place really enjoyed our time here.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience as I tried to order online and it kept freezing,I pressed tikka masala and and the order went through as maka.Due to this being part lamb and I am not a lamb eater it made me feel unwell,I called the restaurant straight away and I was charged for the original dish with no understanding to what happened. Then made to wait 30 minutes for the correct food. Not impressed by this level of service or lack of .. I would like to state the delivery driver was lovely

As always absolutely incredible food, the most pleasant staff you could wish for. Would not think of going anywhere else for an Indian meal.

What a disgrace!!! Visiting my family in Oldbury wanted to support a local restaurant. visited with 3 children three adults. Waited for over an hour having asked 3 times to order without sucess ignored completely no regard for our children, incompetent staff eventually after asking for bill for the two soft drinks and poppadoms only came to £13 no apology or attemp to keep us as customers never again!!!!

Not been in this restaurant for over a decade now. Came in with an old college pal recently for a pre birthday meal out and was very impressed with the service. Highly recommend and will be back very soon

First time using and will deffo be going back again

Last night’s delivery was our first experience of this curry house. Portions were small but fine for two oldies, food tasty and delivery was 20 minutes early so kudos for that. All round good value and will use again. Edited to add: our first visit to actual restaurant. Food delicious, surroundings pleasant and service impeccable. Would highly recommend.

Had a takeaway during lockdown from the Royal Shapla on 24th April. As ever, the food was fantastic, it was restaurant standard and our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The guys are very friendly, provide an excellent service, the food was delivered on time and was piping hot. Thoroughly recommended.

After eating in there and experiencing great food. I was disappointed with my first takeaway home order. Food was missing on delivering but most disappointed with curry pot meat portion sizes and the Butter Chicken Balti. Butter Chicken was totally tasteless and thrown in the bin. On calling the restaurant to ask for more mint sauce because driver was coming out anyway with our missing food.. the guy on the phone was very unhelpful and rude.. (he needs to go on a customer service course).. order was over £36 for 4 people and they sent 1 small mint sauce pot.. unbelievable from a top restaurant?? .. hope they listen and improve...

Me and a friend had a fantastic meal here tonight. I had Jhinga Nooreli with rice and a naan. Friend had a cod bhuna with rice. Highly recommended. Sorry no photos. The staff are really lovely. Decor isively too. We will return. They do take outs and delivery also. Cheers.

We have visited twice in the last couple of weeks as a group of 11 and frequently before that and I can not fault the food or service. 10 out of 10. They do the best chicken sagwala I have found anywhere. The staff are super friendly too and very professional. I can't praise this place enough. Always busy so that's a good sign too. Used to be a regular customer, then left over a simple misunderstanding. Returned recently to find their food had improved upon what was already a great tasting fayre. Nice mix of spices without being too hot. In a small area where they have much competition, with three other Indian rivals, and two Chinese; not to mention a Chamberlain's, McDonald's & Chiquito's nearby; I can choose from many food outlets, but choose this one overall for their friendliness, varied menu, and consistantly good quality food.
