Food was amazing. I didn’t receive all the beers ordered, did call soon as I received as instructed by the driver, manager is calling me back at some point

Really shocked by how small the prawn cracker ‘bucket’ was. It was a small box with 7/8 crackers in.

Chicken Katsu was delicious! Looks like a smallish portion but very filling!

Amazing food. Went for 3 small plates. Sriracha Bao Buns, Chicken dumplings, Pork belly. Super fresh, loads of flavour. Decent wine and beer selection. Staff were great. Really looking forward to going back.

Takeaway cold very salty not valve for money

Really disappointed with our delivery tonight. Food arrived tipped upside down in the bag and leaking everywhere. Rice was also missing. Chicken was very fatty and not crispy like it usually is in that dish. And it was all barely warm. Very poor.

This place is VERY good. I live in Asia and have eaten a lot of Asian food in my life. Not 100% authentic, as ingredients are difficult to get here but 100% DELICIOUS. We had the chicken red curry, duck bao buns, spring rolls and tofu pad thai. Fully recommend!

This restaurant doesn't follow the times they are supposed to close Saturday turned us away at 8 and Sunday at half 8. UPDATE GOOGLE TIMES SO WE ARENT INCONVENIENCED DRIVING THERE!

This place is okay but for the price I was expecting a lot higher quality than what we got. The starters of duck bao bun and the Korean ribs were tasty but the main course really let the place down 😕 The ramen is served in a deep pasta bowl NOT suitable for ramen. The Pad Thai was bland. Pad Thai is notorious for being a harmonious combination of sour, spicy and fresh flavours but this dish didn't have any flavour at all. The dish is was served with a lime wedge "dipped" in chilli flakes that you're meant to squeeze onto the dish but a tiny lime wedge does nothing when the rest is so dull. Such a shame because this place has so much potential and is nicely decorated. 😔

Nasi Goreng was delicious. The fast food mix lemonade was odd. Nice decor & ambience. Oddly, when I tried to order from the dessert menu, they said they didn’t have any. Otherwise: polite, attentive & speedy service.

Prices and food don't match. £18 for a duck Ramen when the duck and Ramen are both not fresh. They half boiled egg was just a boiled egg and not a traditional soya egg. Gave 2 stars as I think they're trying their best but it is definitely not worth a second visit. £10 for a mojito should have told us where the meal was going to eat up going. Service was polite but very amateur. The waitress was using a big tray to carry two plates and put it on the table first and it was quite awkward. The bar staff put two new drinks on the table without taking the old empties away. Picture clearly shows they don't have a clue.

Food tasted amazing 😍 best dumplings I have had , Delivery very fast , The only thing letting it down was that the food had been a little cold 😞 I will order again mind as all the food tasted really good 😊

I never received my food. It said it was delivered at 17:17 but never came until I had to go to work Nightshift at 20:30.

Portions was small for the price and over spiced, meat was good quality but unedible cause of amount of chilli. Ramen very greasy and with linguine pasta. Surf and turf very salty, most of food and up in the bin. We spent over 50 quid and we're still hungry.

We really enjoyed are time dining at the Royal Outpost. For starters we had bao buns and pork belly bites and shared between us and for main course my wife had the chilli chicken and I hand the rendang lamb kofta. All the food was beautiful, staff were very polite and the atmosphere was great. I was however advised the Rendang sauce was MILD while asking about the dish, so when it came I got a shock🔥 I desperately needed the biscoff icecream to cleanse my taste buds but I understand these things happen still a 10/10 and looking forward to coming back.

So disappointed. Headed 26 miles to this place which online looked and seemed really good. However we had a 10min wait on entrance, nobody came to the door buzzer so we sat ourselves and took menus. Finally noticed but were ignored even longer. Both staff clearly struggling with knowledge and information about the menu. Wrong started came, amendment to the main was ignored and protested by the chef so the portion was small and without any veg as promised. Also says on their website if it isn't spicy they will amend it. Ordered spicy chips, they brought plain, I asked for the extra spice and was charged an extra £1.50. Pad thai was very bland. Cocktails very small, gave away a beer, staff more interested sitting on their phones and having a chat. Absolute joke, I don't understand why people have rated this as 4.5 stars. Such a bad holiday meal, be embarrassed Royal Outpost! £80 of regret but I will end on a positive. The tofu bun was good, massaman sauce was very nice and I liked the paint job of the bar. Only nice things to be said unfortunately...

Absolutely phenomenal food. I had the Korean dish with the rice which turns crispy with the egg and it was really tasty. Not overly hot , just enough to get your mouth tingling. My wife had the massuman curry and that was delicious also. Recommended trying the Baos on the side. We will be back.

I am seriously fussy (annoyingly so) and Thai is my absolute favourite cuisine. My partner doesn't like Thai food. On this occasion I managed to persuade him to try it again. For me, it was the best Thai food i have ever had...exquisitely layered spicing with fresh ingredients. Utterly beautiful, authentic flavours. A delight. For my anti-Thai partner...it was a revelation, in the best way. Totally recommended.

Amazing. We've passed here a few times and not been in, a look at the menu and we decided to go in. We were not disappointed. The food has so much flavour and perfect portion size. We had a glass of wine each and it was really good quality.

The thai red curry was lacking ingredients from most other thais rivaling this place. The beef was over done and chewey. I had higher hopes for the dish i ordered however the portion was food and still tasted good. I probably wouldnt order again for the fact the red curry is done better elsewhere in carlisle.

Very Authentic and delicious food. Well worth the money. Everything we tried was incredible. The beef ramen is the best made with an unbelievable bone broth and the beef just melted. The handmade vegetable spring rolls well really tasty. We were served by Leah and we couldn’t have got better service. Friendly, professional and great conversation. We felt very looked after. We will be stopping here again.

Had an awesome time here once again. Jatin and Jennifer (our two servers) were exceptional, super friendly and offered very helpful suggestions, helped us decide and made any adjustments we needed (I had a spice level requirement!). The food was fantastic, a real flavour bomb, excellent portion sizes (had two tapas and two mains from the lunch menu). The sticky rice with mango dessert was amazing, never had anything like it before.

Lovely hot tasty food and great service

First time experiencing Thai food so I was a bit hesitant at what to expect. But surely enough the food was amazing. Served with a nice cold larger. Service was a bit slow especially with it not being very busy. But all in all a lovely meal out in a well presented restaurant. We were very surprised at the cost of the meal for 5 of us. We were expecting it to be a lot more.

Stumbled upon this place as couldn’t get in two places across the street. The food was really tasty , highly recommend! Shared a bamboo box and I had chicken red curry for main. Very nice.

Great food would recommend Bao Buns

Penang was a little too salty and not creamy enough. Pad Thai had very weak flavours + lemon rather than lime. Felt the dishes were not optimally balanced. Was very edible though just not like epic.

Absolute the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. On a trip to Carlisle from Canada, couldn’t stay away, ended up going two nights in a row

Excellent food, service and availability to accommodate a group of 20. We were able to be seated on a large table so the group were still together. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food. Definitely recommend, and would return without hesitation

Lovely food, horrific customer service! Beware anyone who gets vouchers as a gift. Be sure to use them in one go as otherwise they'll be classed as fully redeemed and you'll lose out as we found out to our detriment this evening. Management didn't like speaking to a female so they thought they could ignore me and speak to my partner instead. Thanks for that...its that behaviour that led to the negative review. We will never return!

Shame about the food really. All cold. Prawn cracker bucket potentially a day old. Inedible! Crispy noodles, super soggy. Prawns and ribs cold and no meat on ribs, bare! Id say not a good choice for takeaways.

Fantastically tasty authentic asian food, friendly efficient staff with quick service (stopped to grab a meal while waiting for a delayed train). Now stop there when ever time allows. A wee gem.

Great place in every way they were fully booked but made the effort to squeeze us in, unlike a couple of half empty places who said they were full. What an experience beautiful food from start to finish lovely staff and customer service was second to none We will definitely be back. You should go too it's a great place to go !

I can't give it a score on atmosphere because we were the only ones in for a while we like to eat early. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful explaining the different dishes

Fast and great delivery. Bit overpriced (but what isn’t in Carlisle at the moment?) and did the trick, Carlisle is one step closer to having ramen so I’ll support any restaurant that makes it! Will order from here again.

Absolutely the best Thai / Asian place I have been to outside of Asia. My 30 years of traveling around the world together with love for asian food has taken me to hundredes of asian restaurants around the globe and this is by far the best place I have ever been to. Not only is it authentic but has been elevated to a new level while still holding true to it's origin. I got to talk to the chef as well and I can tell that it's not only the knowledge and skill that makes the food so exceptional. it's also the love for what he is creating that makes it so unique. Not only "well worth" visiting. It's a MUST! I'll be back the next time I'm in Carlisle for sure!!!! Thank you for an amazing dinner guys!!!!!

Found the staff very pleasant and the food was gorgeous. If you haven’t tried kimchi yet( it’s not everyone taste) I would recommend trying theirs. Everything we had was delicious.

No food came , they said delivery driver can just take it!!!! Never had this before , no replacement order offered
