Possibly the best pub in polesworth. Used to have loud disco nights. Not my thing. New management. Mediocre beers. Needs a better real ale. Doombar and Neck oil are pretty average offerings and lack real flavour or strength. Only saw cobs and usual snacks on offer hence 2 stars for food.

Steve @ The Royal Oak was really kind and helpful when we called in for some advice, help and a beer! We were travelling on the canal, needed an uber to get my brother to the station and to charge our phones. Steve couldn’t have been more gracious or kind. Even offering me help from him and his wife during the evening while I moored near the pub, (first night alone on board!) Thank you Steve, you were a star and we wish you every success @ The Royal Oak. You deserve it. Kate & Nigel

One of the better pubs in Polesworth near to the canal bridge. This place is tied to a brewery, but the beer is kept well. Parking opposite on the small industrial estate. Small outside patio. Warm welcoming atmosphere.

Dropped in on a Tuesday night for pie night. Food and service was great have now been back a few times. Also sampled their Sunday morning breakfast as well. Great to have a local pub doing quality food with quality ingredients. All from a local butchers. Well worth a visit.

Following a fairly recent landlord change, this pub has had a refresh and now provides a comfortable and pleasant environment in which to enjoy a well kept IPA or ale. Ideal for boaters as there are plenty of moorings between bridges 51 and 52 and the pub is within sight of bridge 52 of the Coventry Canal. Breakfast available on Sunday mornings. Dog friendly.

First time here this evening after driving past it a million times and boy was it worth it! The food was fresh, tasty and it was honestly the best peshawari naan I've ever eaten! The service was lovely and the prices were fair. This will definitly be our new local.

Great, friendly pub offering good, honest home cooking. Went for Sunday lunch which was superb, and hot (one of my must haves). Staff were great and the lady lady was on hand checking everything was as it should be. Definitely returning!

Visited here with family for Sunday lunch. It was very busy but the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Ordered the feast to share which came on a large platter with all three meats, all of which were cooked brilliantly and it came with all the trimmings. Cauliflower cheese was particularly delicious. Spoilt for choice with the puddings but decided on the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious and freshly made. This place never fails to disappoint. Definitely will be returning and can highly recommend.

We had my dad's wake here and nothing was enough for Kim and the team. They made the day run so smoothly for us, we couldn't of picked a better pub to hold it at. Thank you all so much!
